I find the staff here very friendly and kind.
They have always been efficient and caring with my mother who has been here almost 5 years.

The food has always been excellent. Unfortunately, my mother has been bed bound for 18 months so she cannot attend the activities. The nursing staff have always attended to my mother's every need.

Well run and attentive. My only concern is not enough night staff available as mum's needs can mean several trips to the loo during the night. This has stressed her asking them when they are overstretched. Apart from that, she has settled in very well!

(I do understand your problems with staffing nights.)

What can I say? Thank you does not seem enough. My friend was at Fremantle Court for ten months and the care and support she was given in difficult circumstances was exceptional and she was always saying she made the right decision to stay there even though at the start she was reluctant. Everyone who visited came away saying what a lovely home and commented on the friendliness of the staff. My personal thanks as well to all the staff for the help, care and support they have given to me.

I think that the chefs do a fantastic job. The casseroles and soups are genuinely tasty and demonstrate the chefs flair for palate and flavours.

It is good to see nicely cooked green vegetables and vegetables generally. As an enthusiastic consumer, you sometimes forget that lovely food can be flavoursome as well as good for you.

The home is bright cheerful and clean and really feels like a big cosy home. Our family friend settled in quickly thanks to the staff helping her. The support they gave her throughout good health and bad couldn't have been better.

When we visited, there were little areas throughout the home so that residents could be in company or have a quiet area so you never felt you were intruding on another residents' space. The care given to our friend was far beyond what we could have hoped for. The staff had taken the time to get to know her and understand her as an individual. When our friend's health deteriorated, the staff gave so much care to her and ensured she had all her needs seen to. The staff even gave time and hugs to us as we struggled seeing a life long friend go down hill. The staff throughout the home were simply fantastic to our friend and her family and friends. I cannot thank all the staff enough for their help and support.

My mother has been a resident in Fremantle Court for over 2 years now and our visits never follow a regular routine. Nevertheless, we have always found Mum to be well dressed and comfortable and it is clear that she is very happy and well cared for.

Fremantle Court is a lovely home. The welcome from the staff on entering the building is excellent, the home is bright and airy, all the staff are smiley and caring and attentive, lots of activities provided by a happy and enthusiastic activities team. I have visited lots of homes, they certainly have a great understanding of what is needed in the caring environment here. The home manager is very passionate about care and wellbeing and is well-liked by residents and staff alike.

I visit Freemantle Court each week to bring Holy Communion to 2 Catholic residents. The care home welcomes the spiritual support of those who live there as well as taking care of their physical needs. I find the staff friendly and supportive and there are plenty of activities to interest the residents.

From the moment of arrival the staff, from cleaner to manager were extremely helpful and friendly. The facility is welcoming, homely and scrupulously clean. From the small touches, like making a milkshake for my 6 year old, to the outstanding care for my grandmother I can't recommend Freemantle Court highly enough. Thank you!

Accommodation is first class, small separate lounges are excellent.

The dining room chairs are not very comfortable.

Staff are as helpful as they can be, but there are not enough.

Meals are therefore long-winded.

Deepthi JoseJob Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2026

Deepthi began her nursing career in India, qualifying in 2008 before relocating to the UK in 2010. While settling into life in the UK, she worked as a Senior Carer and successfully completed the examinations required to transfer her nursing registration. After qualifying as a Registered Nurse, Deepthi progressed into leadership roles, including Unit Manager for a 48-bed unit within a 120-bed nursing home, and later Clinical Lead within a 28-bed nursing home.

Over more than ten years with the same organisation, she gained significant experience in clinical practice and operational management, supporting colleagues to deliver high standards of care while ensuring residents’ individual needs remained at the centre of everything she did.

In 2020, Deepthi took on the role of Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead at Lewin House, where she continued to uphold strong clinical governance and provide clear, compassionate leadership until January 2026. She has now joined Fremantle Court as Home Manager, leading the home into its next chapter.

Alongside her professional responsibilities, Deepthi has remained committed to ongoing development. My priority is to ensure our residents feel safe, respected and truly at home, while supporting our colleagues to deliver care they can be proud of every day.”

Deepthi’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Fremantle Court. With her strong clinical background and commitment to collaborative leadership, she is focused on building on the home’s positive reputation and ensuring it remains a warm, welcoming place for residents, families and colleagues alike.
