I have been living here now approximately six weeks. I get treated very well from the care staff, particularly Roger. All staff are always willing to help me when I ask. I am offered a choice of different meals everyday. I would recommend the Willows to any of my friends in the future.
Dear Mary, thank you very much for your lovely feedback. We are delighted to hear that you have felt welcomed, well cared for and supported during your first six weeks at Willows.
It is particularly lovely to hear your positive comments about Roger and the wider care team, and we will make sure...
When I first entered Willows, I thought it was a lovely care home. The staff seemed happy and welcoming, the facilities were clean and well maintained, and overall it had a very pleasant feel.
However, as time went on, I became increasingly concerned about my mother-in-law's quality of life. She appeared to spend most of her time alone in her small bedroom. Whenever we visited, we would sit with her on the bed rather than seeing her spending time in the communal areas or taking part in activities.
As my mother-in-law had limited mobility, she needed assistance to transfer into a wheelchair. Unfortunately, it seemed that this meant she was rarely encouraged or helped to leave her room and join the other residents. I felt that the additional effort involved in moving her resulted in her becoming increasingly isolated.
During her time there, she lost weight quite quickly and seemed noticeably sadder. It was upsetting to feel that, although her basic care needs may have been met, there
Been so pleased with the willows so far. We moved mum in a few months ago when we decided she needed more care and company. Claudia and her team are superb. Constant entertainment for residents, a few day trips, Pimm's in the garden, schools singing. Just a wonderful experience. Nice and clean, lovely care and a lounge for families to access on visits.
Dear Stuart, Thank you so much for your lovely review and kind words. It genuinely means a lot to me personally and to the whole team at The Willows.
It has been a pleasure getting to know your mum and welcoming her into our Willows family. I am so pleased to hear that you feel she is receiving...
Willows helped to make a sad time more bearable, and my family and I are truly grateful.
Dear Verlaine, Thank you so much for taking the time to share such kind and thoughtful feedback. We are very grateful to hear that you and your family felt supported and cared for during such a difficult and emotional time.
It was a privilege for our team at Willows to care for your mum and to...
We were also disappointed with the entertainment/activities provided as our Mother was very rarely included or involved despite this being very important for her wellbeing.
We experienced issues with response times to call bells particularly at nighttime which was very concerning given her care needs.
Our Mother has now moved to a new Carehome where the level of care and attention is much better suited to her needs.
We are all very pleased to see mum happy and thriving in her new environment
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your mother's time at The Willows Care Home. We are pleased that you found the home clean and our staff friendly, although we are sorry to hear that you remain dissatisfied with some aspects of your experience.
We take all concerns...
Mum spent 7 months at Willows and the care she received from start to finish was excellent. Claudia and the whole team were warm, professional and provided an excellent level of service throughout mums stay. The surroundings at Willows is very pleasant with the central garden and common areas kept to a very high standard. Daily activities were well plan and delivered and enjoyed by users. I would highly recommend Willows.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and for taking the time to share your experience. It was an absolute privilege to care for your mum during her time at Willows.
Your kind words mean so much to me and the whole team. We are delighted to hear that you felt supported throughout your mum's...
We looked at many care homes and decided on the willows due to in light airy feel. We noticed it was exceptionally clean. Sadly the home struggled to meet my mother's care needs with her MND/FTD. We eventually replaced our mum to a different home.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your kind comments about the home's light, airy atmosphere and the high standards of cleanliness.
We're sorry that we were ultimately unable to meet your mother's changing care needs. As her needs became more complex due to MND...
As you know I have been at Willows quite a lot recently and I realised with seeing all the efforts for the Open Day event last week and your staff providing services in difficult hot weather, that I wanted to express my thanks to you and your staff. I think the care given to my relative has been first class and also observing how your staff work together every day with a consistent level of care and support from all your teams is a great credit. As my relative says she feels relaxed, and doesn't have any worries or work to do and this is the first time that has happened in her life. It certainly helps me make a decision on care arrangements for myself when I get older and need more support.
Dear Janet, thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It truly means a great deal to all of us.
Knowing that your relative feels relaxed, happy, and free from worry is exactly what we strive to achieve every day. Hearing that this is the first time in her life she has been able to...
My dad became a resident of the Willows Care Home in June 2025. He had suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, and after a year in hospital, he was finally settled. I viewed over a dozen care homes, but none had the quality of Willows. The home is so clean, and the staff are amazing - so dedicated to their profession. I had peace of mind knowing that my dad was cared for so well. He liked the staff as they took the time to talk to him - even though he could not communicate back, he was never ignored. Not only did they care for my dad, but looked after our family. I cannot thank the staff on Birch Unit enough for how they looked after my dad.
It was a privilege to care for your dad and to support both him and your family during his time at Willows Care Home. We are delighted to hear that you felt reassured by the care he received and that our team...
My parents have moved to the Willows two weeks ago (both Alzheimer's) My experience of the staff has been excellent - they treat mum and dad with dignity and have listened to me throughout the settling in period. They have worked to involve dad in the home community and where mum is bed bound; she is cared for and monitored. It is clean and well maintained. The rooms are hot as the unfortunate heatwave has hit in their second week. The food has been super and in good supply. So far this has been a positive move in what is a difficult and emotional decision to move them from care at home to a care home setting. I feel happy having my parents in the care of the staff, and I feel comfortable discussing the careplan - at no time has anyone made me feel that my contributions are not listened to as we work together to resettle them into a new home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience.
We are delighted to hear that your parents have settled so well into life at The Willows and that you have felt supported throughout what we know is a very emotional and difficult transition. It means a great deal to us that you...
My cousin was made very welcome on arrival at the Willows in August 2023. She was very well cared for there in the next 2 1/2 years until she passed peacefully away. Throughout her time at The Willows, she was treated kindly and compassionately by all the staff. When I visited, the staff were always friendly and helpful. My visits were always unannounced, and each time I arrived, to find no cause for concern. My cousin's room and ensuite were always clean and tidy, as was all the interior fabric of the building. It was reassuring at all times to know that my cousin was comfortable and well cared for. She often said she liked the staff.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words about your cousin's time at The Willows.
We are deeply grateful for your feedback and are pleased to hear that your cousin felt welcomed, comfortable, and well cared for throughout her stay with us. It means a great deal to our team...
The care home staff on Birch Floor working very hard and were totally dedicated to their respective roles on the floor. They performed their duties with a friendly smile and were very supportive offering advice when needed. My father received respect and dignity. I was very happy with this home. All the support staff ie. cleaners and laundry were just as helpful and worked hard. A well run care home with strong leadership from the manager and her team.
Dear Angela, Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. We are delighted to hear that you and your father had such a positive experience on Birch Floor.
Our team works very hard to provide compassionate, respectful, and dignified care, so it means a great deal to know that...
Thank you all.
We are truly grateful for your kind words and are so pleased to hear that your experience with The Willows met your expectations during what we understand can be a very important and emotional time. It means a...

My sister has lived at the Willows for four years. She has M.S. and is wheelchair bound. A hoist is used 100% of the time. Carers are helpful pleasant and caring. Wait times for the bathroom is an issue but I have spoke n to management and it is going to be addressed. Claudia the new coordinator is very good and we are glad she has come back to her previous role. Nursing staff is supportive and knowledgeable. Cost of living at the Willows is extremely high so high quality of life is expected.
We're pleased to hear that our carers are providing helpful, pleasant, and compassionate support, and that our nursing team is...
Willows Care Home has been friendly I feel like I don't need to worry anymore as my mum is in safe hands. In here is one particular nurse who is amazing, compassionate and caring always willing to go the extra mile we appreciate her and all the staff.
Dear Trica, thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that you feel reassured knowing your mum is in safe hands at Willows Care Home. Our team works hard to provide compassionate, high-quality care, and it means a great deal to know this has made a positive...
I cannot fault any aspect of Willows care home. The home, the staff are 1st class. If I ever require a care home for myself, this is where I will come.

Very secure, sign in facility upon entry, main doorways and lifts are security accessed (by fob). Friendly reception staff and a visitors area for a drink and a chat. Lovely landscaped garden, with benches and tables, safe and peaceful.
A good staff to resident ratio and the various rooms are all bright and cozy.Basic furniture provided but you can take in extras. All rooms have an en suite toilet/shower wet room. fully adjustable hospital beds, with movement sensors attached. My experience has been that the staff are there very quickly
Food is great, lots of choices. The main meal is lunchtime and supper is mostly soup and sandwiches but other options if requested earlier.
Great activities each day, access to them sometimes a little difficult, the activities team arrange singers, trips out, wellbeing and Art/craft sessions etc. They were the deciding factor on us choosing this home
