I was fortunate to attend Tennyson Wharf on the occasion of a 105th-year-old's birthday. The home has been decorated with balloons and flowers. The red arrows had been arranged to fly past. She had been pampered and totally spoilt. A singer had been engaged and 12+ staff assembled to wish her a happy birthday. The staff could not have been more accommodating and really made her day.

After a lot of research on all local care homes. I choose Tennyson Warf for my mother. They have gone way beyond my expectations in making her feel at home and including her in activities. She is always delighted with meals and enjoys sitting outside in the lovely gardens. It is a relief to know um is in capable hands.

I am extremely satisfied with the care my Mum is receiving at Tennyson Wharf. Any questions, issues, or needs are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Although it is an emotional transition from living in your own home to moving into residential care, it couldn’t have gone any better. We as a family are very grateful for the patience and care of everyone at the home offers Mum. She enjoys the quiz afternoons and particularly enjoyed Burns night (in the afternoon). Thank you all for looking after her and keep up the great work!

Came here on discharge from hospital, very impressed by strict quarantine care (14 days). Food excellent, such lovely, cheerful staff, so caring. My sons arranged my place here. They chose well.

Very presentable home. The rooms are similar to a hotel. Very clean and have all of the necessary facitlites. All of the staff have been helpful and very friendly. To be blunt if my dad is remotely pleased then it must be excellent. Would recommend to anyone who is needing any sort of care.

My mother has been coming to Tennyson Wharf for respite since it opened and will go nowhere else. The care is fantastic, staff are approachable, kind and empathetic. The rooms and environment are stunning. Mum has made a fantastic friend at the home and visits regularly when she is not in respite and is always greeted with a friendly smile and a wonderful cake and coffee.

I love this home. It is very clean and tidy with lovely gardens. The staff go out of their way to treat the residents with respect and dignity. I must say the activities they do to keep residents stimulated are great. Something different every day and all dietary needs are met with tasty healthy meals.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tennyson Wharf. Very welcoming and friendly staff accommodated in every way. A bit sad to be leaving. The food was exceptional. I loved the idea of resident of the day as it made me feel a bit special, as I could choose something different from the menu to eat. Exceptional care at all times. I also had lots of laughs with staff. A huge thank you to all staff and management. I will keep in touch.
