other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

As you can appreciate, the team have been working incredibly hard during the pandemic; our main priority has been to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents and facilitating the different approaches to visiting. We pride ourselves on the ongoing rigorous training our care team receives, which covers all elements of care, to ensure that we maintain our good CQC rating. Recently our lifestyle team has undergone a number of changes, following this our activity programme has been reviewed and we are pleased to advise that more one to one activities are now being provided.

Our new home manager has talked through the concerns you had about your husband’s care. Residents are most welcome to ask for extra helpings of food at any time and we have since purchased your husbands choice of bread. If you have any other questions, then please don’t hesitate to ask either a team leader or home manager so that we can ensure we understand your husband's personal preferences and deliver care that is bespoke to him.

Care UK operate a higher than average staff to resident ratio, although there may be occasions when one of the care team is sick or has to urgently go to hospital with a resident.
