Cavell Court delivers round-the-clock residential and dementia care on a permanent and respite basis. This spacious, purpose-built home is all about enabling residents to continue to enjoy a fantastic quality of life.

Every member of the team is dedicated to delivering person-centred care and ensuring residents enjoy each day to the full, whether that’s taking part in activities and outings or helping out with small tasks around the home, from gardening to folding laundry.

Life at Cavell Court is all about comfort and luxury, which is why each bedroom is of a high standard, with an en-suite wet room. Residents can also enjoy excellent facilities, such as a contemporary café, cinema and hair salon, as well as lovely grounds.

Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

We came to visit a friend today. We were met and taken to her room. We have visited friends in care homes before but not Care UK homes this is excellent, staff so friendly and even came into the room while we were there excellent. We have been made to feel that this is more than a care home and must
be so much nicer than others. We spoke to the head chef about menus once again excellent! A lady that showed us around gave us more of an insight into the home. We cannot say enough about Cavell Court and this was only our first visit! Staff are very happy.

Very friendly staff and management, very welcoming. Very lovely décor with plenty of places to sit with residents. Residents encouraged to do activities. Choice of places to eat for residents and visitors. Lovely garden area. Food very good and well cooked. Only negative point not very well sign posted
for the main road.

This is now my home and I quickly add a very happy one. It is difficult to describe the many features that contribute to make it so. First and foremost the friendly and efficient carers and the beautiful décor, this care home is so well run it nearly doesn't seem like one. More like a luxurious holiday
camp! with activities and food fit for a king! I feel honoured to spend my final days here, knowing I shall be in very special caring hands. My grateful thanks.

On inspection of visiting the care home and its staff I simply had no hesitation that this is the place I wanted my father to come for his respite care. On reflection it was like a five star hotel and I justified the cost as him being on a wonderful holiday with good food and being totally cared for
in wonderful surroundings. I am now picking him up and am so pleased with his comments and listening to what the staff and his carers has emphasised. I am really happy that I made this decision, which I must admit was difficult in the beginning, but will not hesitate to do again in the future funds permitting.

Beautiful home and staff to match, I am very pedantic and find nothing but excellence here. My mothers health has improved within 7 days with the care provided - praiseworthy indeed and a credit to the staff when my mother is 91 with a complex history.

Pedro Campos

Job Title: Home Manager

I qualified as a Nurse in Portugal in 2010, and my first care job in the UK was for Care UK.


I left after five years to progress my career, but I decided to return because I believe in Care UK’s values and commitment to caring for residents.


Care UK is the best place I have ever worked. The support provided to colleagues is fantastic. Providing care is about being passionate and committed. As Home Manager, I believe it’s important to listen to and support residents, relatives and colleagues in the home on a day-to-day basis. I work hard to make a difference in their lives.


The safety and wellbeing of the residents living at Cavell Court of the utmost importance to me, and ensuring all procedures are followed is an important part of my role. My favourite part of the day is walking around the home every morning to talk to each resident and team member.


When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my family. I enjoy time in the garden and do DIY at home.
