We enjoyed our second visit to our special friend who came here 3 months ago.
We have found all the staff to be very attentive and friendly.

We are delighted to see how happy our old friend is in this very caring environment and homeliness within her apartment. Congratulations to the entire caring and maintenance team. Happy Christmas.

I was a resident for a week's convalescence, after orthopaedic surgery. I found the staff, almost without exception, very friendly and extremely caring; may have been because I was pretty fit and healthy, just traumatised from the injury. Used the week to recover mentally too - greatly enhanced by friendly staff.

Medication not always correct. Delays with carers attending when call bell pressed, especially during busy periods (20 minutes) (mornings). Shortage of staff early mornings (8 am).

The staff at Kingsbury Court Care Home gave my grandmother the highest levels of care and comfort. Everybody who came into contact with her treated her with great dignity. I would recommend Kingsbury for the staff there, but the facilities are also excellent and family can visit anytime. My grandmother was very happy there.

I had an extremely pleasant visit. The receptionist was particularly helpful and I want you to know how much I appreciated her input into my visit and several phone calls.

The home is very new but had a really nice feel about it. I am so glad my friend is here.

On arriving I was greeted with friendly staff at the desk, who made me welcome. As our friend wasn't in her room another staff member showed me how to find our friend in the garden. It is so lovely to see our friend, who has been at Kingsbury Court since it opened, so happy and settled and loves the whole way of life there. She always enjoys her meals and activities and speaks highly of the staff.

I have visited and old friend now a resident just once. I was so pleased to see how happy and well cared for she now is. The facilities are of a high standard and I was very impressed. I cannot comment on value for money as I do not know what the fees are.

I have visited Kingsbury Court twice and on both occasions have received a very warm welcome. The staff appear to be very caring, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My long time family friend is extremely happy. She enjoys the activities and entertainment, the food and the care she receives. I have been able to join her for lunch and have found the food of a very high standard and have been made very welcome in the dining room.

I cannot comment on all the categories but my overall impression is of an excellent care home.

My mother needed to go into care after a spell in hospital. The staff at Kingsbury Court were extremely helpful in aiding her transition from looking after herself to being in a home. She settled very well and is happily enjoying living in what she describes as a five-star hotel with care. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. There a plenty of activities arranged and she just loves her new life.

I visit my friend who is a resident and find the staff all very cheerful and helpful. My friend tells me the staff are all very kind. There are lots of activities which she can join in with if she wants to. The food is very good and she gets a glass of red wine with her meal, something she loves.

The carers provide as much care as they possibly can, to the extent that I feel it goes beyond "regulation". They understand my mother and know how to achieve the best in communicating with her. Relating to her past experiences as a nurse herself, her previous love of looking after her dogs and knowing who we are as her family i.e when I visit with my daughters or husband, acknowledgement from the staff who know who we all are. I could say more but just don't have the words.

All the carers, reception staff, catering staff and cleaners have been wonderful with my mother. At times she can be very difficult and shouting when she wants someone to come, but they have been very patient with her. She is a lifelong vegetarian and they have accommodated her diet very well. My mother does not want to participate in any activities.

Kingsbury Court is a beautiful care home with incredible staff from the Manager down to the cleaners. Everyone, my family and I have come into contact with have been very professional, polite and extremely caring. They made my father's time there a very happy one. We could not have wished for a better environment and the three careers that were mainly associated with him took the time to get to know all about him, his likes and dislikes and always ensured he had plenty of his favourite things - tea and biscuits! There are several activities going on during the week and they encouraged dad to join in but understood if he didn't want to and respected his wishes. Communication was excellent between the care home and ourselves - as was the cleanliness and food. The quality of staff was excellent too. We couldn't have wished for a better place for dad. Thank you, Kingsbury Court!
