My twin sisters went for 2 weeks respite in June 2021. They both loved it. The home was clean, a lot of activities and a lot of nursing staff/ helpers were seen happily engaging with clients as we walked around. This place is well run and well organised. My sisters have come home different women - full
of happiness, loved the food, and they have not stopped dancing to Abba! They will definitely return as they really did see The Mary Rose as a hotel! A caring home.

Mary Rose Manor cared for my husband with care and dignity. The staff were very supportive to me in difficult times. I have recommended Mary Rose to other people looking for a home for their loved ones. The manager was there for everyone, no matter how busy she was.

The manager and her team looked after my dear dad with compassion, love and respect. We could not have found a better and more caring home for him in his last 2 years. The difference it made to me and my partner, to know that Dad was in such good hands (after some challenging years in the community
due to dementia and health needs), was huge. We were so worried about him having to go into care, but they quickly helped him to feel safe and secure. He was involved in the activities, especially singing, jigsaws and quizzes.

I cannot recommend Mary Rose Manor highly enough. My mother, who suffered from severe Alzheimer's, had been in other homes, but the care and support she received from Mary Rose Manor was exemplary. The staff, without exception, were highly professional, caring and friendly and gave my mother, who could
be challenging at times, the best care possible.
The home has lovely rooms that are light and clean, spacious and comfortable. The lounge areas are similarly spacious.
I cannot fault the care everyone gave to Mum, both in the 16 months she was there and when she was dying. Because of Covid, we were unable to be with her at the end but I know that she was looked after with respect and dignity by people who were genuinely fond of her and that means a great deal.
I was impressed by the way the home is run, with professionalism and empathy, especially through these very difficult times.

My beloved husband was cared for with respect and dignity at all times. He arrived frail and in need of specialist nursing care. He was gently managed, loved and looked after until the end of his life. The kindness and compassion with which he, and I, were treated was wonderful and sustaining through
difficult times. All staff were amazing and manager exceptional in her support and understanding. Have already recommended to many others.

My father was extremely lucky to spend the final years of his life in such excellent surroundings with so many good and caring people. A spotless home with wonderful loving staff at all levels. It would be impossible to find fault with the quality of care and attention given.

My sister was brought into the home straight from hospital, she had gone through many care companies in her home then sent to one in Gosport. She didn't like any of them, however, Mary Rose Manor with the assistant manager and his team seemed to accept her and all her needs. She was known as one of
their 'little pickles' which we loved. She spent her last few months here and we are so thankful for that. Everybody was so lovely and caring. They listened to her and accepted her.

My brother had multiple health conditions and went to Mary Rose Manor just as Covid-19 lockdown began. We were only able to visit once but talked with him and the staff by phone. We were very pleased that he had been admitted to a home where the staff were so caring and understood his needs. They kept
us informed as his health deteriorated, kindly, professionally and honestly.

This has got to be the best care home ever. You looked after my Dad like he was your own. He was always clean, tidy, and well-fed and looked after. Big hugs to all of you carers, cleaners, kitchen staff and activity staff. All wonderful. Lots of love.

My sister has been a resident at Mary Rose Manor for 3 and a half years. She has, as I see it, always been treated fairly considering her behavioral problems. The home itself is excellent with staff carefully chosen and who are generally perfect for the job they are carrying out. Not only are they caring
and kind to the resident but also to all visitors, namely me. The atmosphere is good and my sister has been very happy there. She has been well looked after and my gratitude is with all the staff.

My mother was well cared for but became unresponsive. The staff immediately followed all procedures to care for Mum and notified me. The attention, care and dignity they offered my mum and my family; was absolutely flawless.

My mother-in-law was taken in by Marie Rose Manor. They were very new and it was lovely, especially compared to other homes I had visited. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated and she was very happy there. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly, my mother-in-law passed away in December.
I would highly recommend Mary Rose Manor.

Dad was only in care at the Mary Rose Manor for three weeks. Once he was admitted his frame of mind changed he was content and of good well-being knowing he was nearing end of life. His words of praise for all the staff were excellent. He was very content. I and the rest of his family were more than

Mum was placed in the home due to her dementia. She is, as a result of her illness, often very confused and staff at the home were excellent throughout her stay and showed her exceptional care and support. We were pleased to know that she was well cared for throughout.

Mother was a resident here for 18months and received excellent care throughout.
Staff were very kind and considerate. Residents private rooms were spacious and practical.

My son is the resident at Mary Rose Manor. He is epileptic and suffers from seizures both petit mal and grand mal, without warning. He always seems to be very happy here and enjoys all his meals which are fresh and substantial. He does hurt himself because of falls against furniture or floor but is
always looked after very well. Nurses are present.
