Outstanding staff, outstanding management, I couldn't have asked for better. They looked after my auntie so well, she'd been in a couple of homes before Mary Rose and they haven't a touch on you guys. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I am a resident at Mary Rose Manor. I think that Mary Rose is the best care home you could wish for. I have been here 5 years and I really really love it, they have changed my life around the manager and her care team have got me on the right medication and I don't have a peg anymore. They've allowed me to decorate my own room. I'm a massive Portsmouth Football Clun fan. I can't thank them enough. I'd like to thank the owner and the manager for allowing me to decorate my room. You have really changed my life and I can't thank you enough!

Mum at 98 had a nasty fall breaking a bone in her knee, sadly following this her general health deteriorated and she was unable to return home. We were very grateful for all the help and support we received from the manager when contacting Mary Rose Manor. Mum became a resident at Mary Rose Manor for just a short time and eventually, they provided end of life care for her. We could not have asked for a more comfortable, supportive environment for her to end her days. The whole team were exceptional in the level of empathy, care and support they gave Mum and us as a family in this difficult time. From day one she was made to feel welcome and cared for. The accommodation and facilities were immaculate and she was able to personalise her room. Most of all though she was treated with dignity, respect and love. We are eternally grateful to everyone for making a sad situation more bearable for us and allowing us to stay with Mum in her last few days, providing a family room for us to rest in when needed.

My mother was looked after at Mary Rose for nearly 4 years. The staff and on site management were very good. They would discuss my mother's condition as it deteriorated due to dementia. Despite her condition becoming difficult, generally the staff showed care, dignity and respect to my mother. The condition of the home is good and clean. Relatives are encouraged to be part of life in the home during events like Christmas and Easter etc. Even to, and at the end of my mother's life, everyone showed care and compassion.

Once again difficult to visit a resident. My lateral flow test not believed, took a further test at the home. Negative instantly, made to wait 15 mins. Anyone who does these tests now that a positive result comes up immediately. Rude staff, patronising mentally. I am not a patient!

My father was admitted to the Mary Rose Manor during the summer, following discharge from hospital. He was received with care, all his needs were met with devotion from the nursing team. His room was clean and comfortable. His wife was encouraged to visit and have meals with him. As a nurse myself, I am very critical, I would not have wanted my father to be cared for anywhere else. He died in peace and with dignity - thank you all.

My wonderful husband needed end of life care and was offered a bed at Mary Rose Manor and from the moment he was admitted he received nothing but kindness and care. Every member of staff was part of a very special team. My husband was given excellent nursing care and was always treated with respect and his dignity was kept intact. For us as a family we were looked after in numerous ways, eg. keeping us informed of his condition, bringing us copious amounts of refreshments and empathy at all times, the list goes on. My husband was there until he finally slipped away after almost two weeks. As a family, we want to thank every single person for making an agonising time bearable.

My husband was in the nursing home for 6 months. Whilst in there the staff were wonderful, his care was exceptional, they were so lovely and looked after him with compassion and dignity.

The home was clean and tidy, the staff were always helpful, and would do anything for my husband and his family. I would recommend this nursing home, your loved ones are looked after and the care is out of this world. Thank you!

My mum was a resident at Mary Rose Manor for several months, and at the end, your staff have been truly exceptional.

We can't thank you enough for the emotional and physical support given to us and to Mum during her last few hours. I was prepared for the finality of her situation with dignity and love. Fleeting moments held together by exceptional staff. Thank you.

My twin sisters went for 2 weeks respite in June 2021. They both loved it. The home was clean, a lot of activities and a lot of nursing staff/ helpers were seen happily engaging with clients as we walked around. This place is well run and well organised. My sisters have come home different women - full of happiness, loved the food, and they have not stopped dancing to Abba! They will definitely return as they really did see The Mary Rose as a hotel! A caring home.

The manager and her team looked after my dear dad with compassion, love and respect. We could not have found a better and more caring home for him in his last 2 years. The difference it made to me and my partner, to know that Dad was in such good hands (after some challenging years in the community due to dementia and health needs), was huge. We were so worried about him having to go into care, but they quickly helped him to feel safe and secure. He was involved in the activities, especially singing, jigsaws and quizzes.

I cannot recommend Mary Rose Manor highly enough. My mother, who suffered from severe Alzheimer's, had been in other homes, but the care and support she received from Mary Rose Manor was exemplary. The staff, without exception, were highly professional, caring and friendly and gave my mother, who could be challenging at times, the best care possible.
The home has lovely rooms that are light and clean, spacious and comfortable. The lounge areas are similarly spacious.
I cannot fault the care everyone gave to Mum, both in the 16 months she was there and when she was dying. Because of Covid, we were unable to be with her at the end but I know that she was looked after with respect and dignity by people who were genuinely fond of her and that means a great deal.

I was impressed by the way the home is run, with professionalism and empathy, especially through these very difficult times.

My beloved husband was cared for with respect and dignity at all times. He arrived frail and in need of specialist nursing care. He was gently managed, loved and looked after until the end of his life. The kindness and compassion with which he, and I, were treated was wonderful and sustaining through difficult times. All staff were amazing and manager exceptional in her support and understanding. Have already recommended to many others.

My sister was brought into the home straight from hospital, she had gone through many care companies in her home then sent to one in Gosport. She didn't like any of them, however, Mary Rose Manor with the assistant manager and his team seemed to accept her and all her needs. She was known as one of their 'little pickles' which we loved. She spent her last few months here and we are so thankful for that. Everybody was so lovely and caring. They listened to her and accepted her.

My brother had multiple health conditions and went to Mary Rose Manor just as Covid-19 lockdown began. We were only able to visit once but talked with him and the staff by phone. We were very pleased that he had been admitted to a home where the staff were so caring and understood his needs. They kept us informed as his health deteriorated, kindly, professionally and honestly.
