Her room is lovely, menu and food choices are very tasty, and there is a wealth of activities that can be enjoyed as well as sitting in the lovely gardens or accessing the local community. But it's the way the staff make you feel that really counts, always warm and welcoming, clearly capable, competent and well trained, and always taking the time to truly care for residents in the very broadest sense of the word. The manager provides great hands on leadership to a brilliant team.

The care received by my father and our family was outstanding. He was only in the home for 15 days before he died but he was treated as a person the whole time. He was shown respect, compassion and great care. I cannot thank the staff enough for the consideration shown to all of us during the time of his stay and ultimate death. The care the staff gave was first-rate from beginning to end. Thank you.

The staff cared for my mum extremely well. They made great efforts to understand her fully and tailor their treatment of her to her needs. The end-of-life care was second to none. They were highly supportive of us as a family.

My mother was in Abbotswood Court Care Home for two years. The care and support she received from the staff was outstanding. All members of the team are professional, caring and compassionate. The environment at Abbotswood felt like one big happy family. The end-of-life care that my mum received from all the staff was amazing and I will be forever grateful to them.

Abbotswood was our first port of call when seeking short-term care for my mother. From the outset, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and communications were excellent. The home itself is exceptionally well presented with wonderful facilities. Thank you for providing us with such great respite care.

Abbotswood Court has been a wonderful place for my father for the last three years. They have certainly looked after him well, and treated him with the dignity he deserved. Management continually updating his needs as his dementia got worse. In his last few days the staff were incredibly caring and thoughtful to his and our needs. Thank you.

My father had suffered with Alzheimer's for some years and was a resident at Abbotswood Care Home for the last 2 1/2 years of his life. He was always treated with respect, was safe and comfortable in the friendly environment. The staff went out of their way to look after him in his failing physical health and worked extra hard when medical help was not always forthcoming from the local GP practice. When he passed away I would say everyone around him could not have been kinder.

As a family we were always warmly welcomed and sensitively supported.

The staff and care given at Abbotswood was exceptional. Highly empathetic, professional and attentive at what can be a very difficult time for families. The Abbotswood team made a big difference to us all. Especially one staff member who was an absolute superstar and much respected by my grandpa and family during this time there.
