Augustus Court care home, located in the picturesque village of Garforth, provides residential and residential dementia care designed around the individual needs of each person.

This beautiful home features plenty of areas in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and be creative. Many rooms have lovely views of the pretty landscaped garden where residents can enjoy gardening activities year round.

My mother stayed for respite in which time she was very comfortable with a lovely room. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Meals were varied, not always what she liked. I suppose you can't please everyone all the time, but maybe one plain dish every day would be appreciated.

Making sure Residents have a choice of their favourite foods is really important to us and we apologise if we have fallen short of the high standards we aspire to.
We record individual preferences to make sure our fresh food menus are created around what our Residents want most. We are delighted to welcome families and loved-ones to share in mealtimes, and the Sunday roast is a special time at many of our homes.

My mother settled very well into Augustus Court due to the friendly and caring nature of all of the staff. I was particularly pleased that mum joined in many of the varied social activities on offer and happily took her meal in the restaurant. Mum is very happy to return to Augustus Court in the autumn
and I shall relax knowing the care is exceptional.

It's ideal is Augustus Court. I would recommend to not just anybody but everybody. The staff are great. The manager is very good. My room is very nice, its clean. I interview new staff and ask questions that I want answering. The food is excellent with a good selection. I have made friends with all
the staff and residents. My workmates come to visit me and are made welcome by the staff.

From the first visit to Augustus Court Care Home with my mum we were made to feel extremely welcome which made the decision to place her in the home much easier. She has now been there since opening in early February and feels very much at home as well as safe and cared for. the care and attention she
has received from all the staff is exemplary and I would not hesitate to recommend Augustus Court Care Home to others.

I came to Augustus court for a weeks respite. The staff were extremely helpful and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The other residents were very friendly. I very much felt at home here. The meals were excellent, Delicious and exactly the right portion size. The facilities were top
quality with very tasteful decor. I am sorry to be going home! I would highly recommend Augustus Court to others. Many thanks to all the staff for their kindness, care and attention.
