Sherwood Grange is a modern and luxurious care home in Kingston Vale, South London, offering high-quality residential, dementia and short-term respite care.

Residents live active and fulfilled lives with a range of superb facilities, including a cinema, hair salon and coffee shop, which is the hub of the home. Plenty of garden space means residents can enjoy growing vegetables and flowers, or simply relax outside on sunny days. As well as stunning shared spaces, every resident has their own beautifully furnished en-suite bedroom.

Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of
care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. There
are no additional fees for respite stays.

Please note, the weekly fee does not include hairdressing, chiropody or other healthcare visits or

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

Welcoming smile from an individual, coupled with ability and willingness to help with any queries. Uncomplaining help from staff and there is always someone available to help with any everyday emergency eg. going to the toilet. Good food, nicely prepared and served. Bedclothes always fresh and newly
laundered. Satisfied with every facility.

Mum has been on respite for just over 5 weeks now and is enjoying her time in Sherwood Grange, the management and staff are all very helpful and couldn't do more in helping Mum settle into her new environment, She is loving the trips out on the mini bus and the activates.
Going forward Mum will soon
become a more permanent resident and she is looking forward to personalising her room with some of her own belongings, which the management and staff are more than happy to let her do.
As a visitor, visiting Mum is a nice experience having lovely surroundings in her room and a home from home lounge a coffee shop to relax in, and also its lovely to be able to take Mum into nearby Richmond Park .
I would highly recommend this care home.

Was well looked after. Staff were very caring. Facilities were excellent. Arranged hospital visit when had stomach complaint. Kept family informed at all times.

I booked my mother in for 2 weeks respite care following a hospital stay. The assessment was quickly arranged (same day as phone call) and when we went to the home, Mum and I were warmly greeted by all staff. Care has been excellent. Mum's strength and mobility have improved 100%. We extended her stay
for another week without any fuss. All the staff have been kind, caring and very helpful to Mum and all our family. The great grandchildren, 8 months and 3 years have always been made welcome. The home is beautifully decorated, clean fresh and very welcoming. I would use it again instantly. Thank you for your love and care. xx

My sister, who is 91 years of age, was unable to remain in hospital and I was advised she needed a lot more care and attention and so I and my relatives decided to look around for the best care home. We finally found this wonderful care home in Kingston Vale. I was thrilled because my sister was the
third person to be admitted. It is truly lovely! The staff, management and caring staff are magnificent! She has outstanding care. Everyone is very kind to her - attending to all her needs. food is well prepared. The activities are great and although my sister is 91, she is indeed an active participant. She loves the cinema. I know she wants to go home, but she is truly happy here. WELL DONE!

Job Title: Home Manager

I come from Poland originally, which is where I did my training, and I initially worked in orthopaedics as well as in emergency care.


When I moved to the UK I moved into social care. It was my first experience of it, but I haven’t looked back. I’ve discovered my dream career!


I love Care UK’s ‘fulfilling lives’ ethos: I truly believe that moving into a care home is an opportunity for residents to live life to the full, with care and support. I see it as the start of an exciting new phase of life, and it’s wonderful to see the positive effects of what we do, and how we make people happy.
