Thank you for your positive comments for the care and support we provide. We are delighted that your mother has settled in so well and that you feel her quality of life has improved since she arrived at Sherwood Grange. We are also grateful for your constructive feedback. We are sorry to hear that the food offering has not met your expectations. We take great care in our menu planning to offer a variety of choice for residents, however, the home manager Rick, would be more than happy to discuss your mothers preference with you, so that we can create a meal plan that will suit her individual requirements.
We are grateful for your constructive feedback and we are delighted with the positive comments and scores for the care and support we provide. We are sorry to hear the food offering did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We aim to deliver an enjoyable meal experience for all residents and offer a choice of fresh, nutritious dishes to suit all tastes and dietary needs. We are, however, always keen for feedback and suggestions and the home manager, Rick, would be more than happy to discuss your Aunts preferences with you so that we can create a meal plan tailored to their individual needs.
Putting dad here was an easy decision for us. We have used other respite homes prior to this one and I must say this one came top of our list.
Sherwood Grange is a modern open plan but very secure. It was exactly what we were looking for and close to home so it's easy to visit at any time.
Her experience was also our experience. The staff couldn’t have made
When Mum’s health deteriorated, the staff made sure she received the treatment she needed and prioritised keeping us informed. From the Manager of the Home down to the Care and other support staff, they all were known to us and showed they cared. We just felt so reassured that this was a place where the management and staff were all committed to providing the best for Mum and had the expertise and compassion to do this so well.
The enthusiasm and dedication of the staff is a pleasure to witness.
I have only one constructive concern. Could a mirror be sited in the corner of the car park to see vehicles entering the narrow roadway.

I come from Poland originally, which is where I did my training, and I initially worked in orthopaedics as well as in emergency care.
When I moved to the UK I moved into social care. It was my first experience of it, but I haven’t looked back. I’ve discovered my dream career!
I love Care UK’s ‘fulfilling lives’ ethos: I truly believe that moving into a care home is an opportunity for residents to live life to the full, with care and support. I see it as the start of an exciting new phase of life, and it’s wonderful to see the positive effects of what we do, and how we make people happy.
