Thank you for your feedback. Residents’ needs and wellbeing are of the utmost importance to us and we feel your mother was well-cared for during her time at Sherwood Grange. We are very proud to have been rated ‘outstanding’ by the CQC and for all the wonderful reviews we have received that reflect the expectational care we deliver. We have done our very best to ensure residents continue to have access to religious services virtually throughout the pandemic when in-person visits have not been possible. We pride ourselves on our excellent lifestyle team who not only support residents in enjoying a range of varied activities but also understand that group activities are not for everyone and ensure they spend one-to-one time with residents if that’s what they prefer. We are sorry that your expectations have not been met and we wish your mother the very best.
We can't thank you enough for all your dedication and care during this year-long pandemic.

I come from Poland originally, which is where I did my training, and I initially worked in orthopaedics as well as in emergency care.
When I moved to the UK I moved into social care. It was my first experience of it, but I haven’t looked back. I’ve discovered my dream career!
I love Care UK’s ‘fulfilling lives’ ethos: I truly believe that moving into a care home is an opportunity for residents to live life to the full, with care and support. I see it as the start of an exciting new phase of life, and it’s wonderful to see the positive effects of what we do, and how we make people happy.
