Hartford Court

Mum has been at Hartford Court nearly 7 months now, she is well looked after, all of the staff are excellent, I know she is safe and very happy. It is like one big family, which makes a great atmosphere and a pleasure to visit there. Thank you to you all at Hartford.

My mother was in Hartford Court for a month's respite care. She enjoyed her stay and spoke very highly of the staff. The rooms were lovely and she spoke highly of the food. We shall certainly use the home at a future date if possible.

The building was clean, homely, smart and modern. Her room was fantastic but more importantly, the staff were so kind, caring and attentive to my friend's needs. They showed high levels of care and communication with the family. Unfortunately, she only had 2 weeks there but during that time, the care she received was fantastic. I was there for long hours but felt comfortable to help myself to drinks whenever I needed and the staff also looked after the visitors as well. The staff were cheerful and approachable and very caring. She was dealt with dignity at all times. I would recommend this home.

From the beginning, I have had an excellent experience with Hartford. Nothing is too much trouble and every request is promptly dealt with. My Aunt is extremely happy there and I would thank everyone for their attention and help to her. Thanks to the manager and all the team at Hartford.

From the moment you enter, you can feel the warm welcoming atmosphere, by watching the staff you can observe that they truly care about the residents and their needs. It is such a relief to know that a truly loved member of your family is happy, well looked after, safe and secure in the hands of the staff who always go about their work in a truly professional manner.

I cannot praise Hartford Court and all who work there highly enough.

Unfortunately what no one did know was how ill my mum was on arrival. Obviously, this became apparent very quickly. The management and staff took the decision to embrace my mum and for the last two weeks' of her life, the care she received from all at Hartford Court was second to none. Not only did they look after my mum first class but they also gave myself and my family tremendous support in a very difficult and upsetting time for all of us. As a family, we have so much to thank all the staff at Hartford Court for. Their care and devotion to my mum was truly amazing.

There is a variety of interesting and fun activities for residents and day-care users, and nothing is too much trouble for members of staff. It feels like a happy community the moment you walk in.

I have not failed to be impressed by care, support and management of Hartford Court. The staff have not only dealt with my mother's issues but supported me as well. There is a very personal and genuinely homely feel and I feel lucky to have found a place like this for my mother.

Lovely care home. Great staff and facilities. A few more 'older person' activities are needed - music, films etc. Very safe and great food.

Every time I visit my friend at this beautiful home, the atmosphere is fantastic with lovely soft music playing. The residents all look happy and well cared for. The staff are amazing, caring and friendly.

Need more carers sometimes, not enough for the number of residents, although their needs are always met.

The staff at all times were very attentive if needed and were always friendly, polite and courteous. Overall it was a real home from home for her.

The staff were anxious that as a Parkinson's sufferer I needed my medication at the exact time. This happened almost 100% of the time.

The staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was freshly cooked and looked appetising.

I cannot speak highly enough of the splendid care given to my relative. All the staff I have met are friendly, professional, caring and patient. The staff always greet you with a smile and you are made to feel so welcome. Staff go the extra mile to make a connection with my Mum in law whose care needs fluctuate greatly. The food is good and residents are often consulted on their likes and dislikes. The team liaise with GPs and other healthcare team members very effectively and always feed back to us, the family. We count ourselves lucky to have found such a lovely home for our relative.

The kind, friendly and caring staff helped my relative settle in quickly to the home. Good sized rooms, wide corridors and comfortable lounges. Good quality home cooked food.

Visited my mother at Hartford Court this morning. She looked really well and while chatting said: 'We are all so happy here, everyone gets on so well, I never thought it would be as nice as this.' Thankyou to all staff at Hartford Court who have given her such good quality of life since she moved in 9 months ago.

Hartford Court Is well designed, tastefully furnished and decorated. It is homely, light, airy yet warm, and comfortable. Staff and care programme are second to none. Mum is safe and happy, in a loving, caring environment where every need is catered for: emotional, social, physical, mental and spiritual. All staff, (who are easily identifiable in smart, bright uniforms), demonstrate the highest standard of commitment and care.

Mum's bedroom and ensuite bathroom give security, privacy and comfort. For social times she can use small, comfortable lounges or larger spaces for whole group activities. All facilities are of a high standard. The food is excellent; the chef's mantra seems to be that nothing is too much trouble.

The 'open door policy' means we can visit, (with children and dog), at any time, and allows the residents to really feel Hartford Court is their home where they can entertain their family. Using Facebook allows us to see what Mum and her friends have been doing.
