Our mother has been a resident at Hartford Court for 4 months, following several 2 week stays for respite care previously. The staff are professional and caring and always treat the residents with respect and dignity. There are regular activities for the residents and trips out when the weather permits. The building is modern and always clean and the food is excellent. There is also a large garden which is utilised by the residents in warmer weather. We, as a family, would thoroughly recommend Hartford Court to anyone seeking a safe and comfortable residence for a loved one.

We could not wish for a better place for our uncle to be living in for the last period of his life.

After becoming too vulnerable to live alone in his own home, our uncle moved into Hartford Court in June 2018. From the very beginning, all members of staff made it their objective to ensure that he felt completely at ease and that this was his new home, to do as he pleased. The design and fresh feel of the building is excellent. Catering is first-class. Medical support is professionally overseen. Staff are lovely, getting just the right blend of professionalism and informality. Managers are always accessible and helpful if there are any queries or problems.

Residents are treated with respect, and it really is an outstanding care home in every aspect.

Both my parents are and have been residents at Hartford Court for about two years. Both are living with dementia and have fragility issues.

I have found the home to be modern, well laid out and well equipped. All of which is good but the main benefit of the home is its staff. They really do look after my parents as if they were their own family. My family feel both privileged and so thankful that our parents are here. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the home.

I fully recommend this home. An Aunt, who just needed help with a few things, has been here for about six months and loved living here. Unfortunately, she is heading towards the end of life now. At ALL times she has been treated with utmost dignity and caring. I have never been in a home that has been more caring. Also, the building is amazing and has many different areas that residents can visit with or without their guests. A massive thank you to the staff.

My first impression of Hartford Court is a modern building set in beautiful grounds. The staff are welcoming and make contact whenever they see you in the building. My Mother is so settled that she considers this her home. The cleanliness of the building is excellent and the garden a delight. I have no negative views relating to anything to do with this wonderful home.

My mother has been in this modern, clean and well-organised care home for over 6 months. She is safe and well cared for and she enjoys a spacious and well-appointed room. Her Carers have treated her with dignity and respect and those who have stayed and built up relationships with residents are very kind and full of concern.
When my mother had a very serious fall the carer on duty was totally professional. She called the emergency services and stayed with her until both they and we arrived.
The management staff are always around and both my wife and I appreciate their open door policy. The reception staff are excellent, always welcoming and keen to help.

Just recently there seems to be an improvement in the level of activities being provided by the home.

My brother sadly had a stroke at age 59 in May 2018. After being in hospital and then in a Neuro-rehabilitation unit he needed a place to live and be cared for until we can sell his own home which is no longer accessible for him. We have a small family and very sadly none of us have an accessible home he could come to, so finding such a wonderful place as Hartford Court has been brilliant. Everyone goes over and above to help and all of the staff you meet are so welcoming and friendly. I am sure that it will really help my brother to cope with what has happened to him.

My experience of Hartford Court has been amazing. It was necessary to place my brother there in January of this year due to him becoming unable to care, feed and be safe at home on his own due to Alzheimer and then Dementia. The staff have been amazing, each and every one of them from Management and care teams through to the domestic staff. All of them have time for the residents, show them affection and will always stop and have a chat with the residents. I cannot praise the staff at Hartford Court enough, they are all amazing. It is a beautiful home, with lovely rooms, lovely home cooked food, brilliant activities, social events and great entertainment for those that can participate. What is especially important to us, as family, is that we are always made to feel so welcome, loved and cared for too. I would never, ever, hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for care for a loved one.

After a very difficult time with my dad being in hospital and him no longer being able to cope at home I had to find a care home for him. On first impressions of the home I felt that it was a very modern, clean and friendly place. It seemed more like a hotel than a care home! It's very hard after being his carer to hand the care over to others and trust that he will be looked after like you did it. From the start, back in February of this year, we were both made to feel very welcome. The carers are all lovely and a lot of the other service users have become like a big family. I would definitely recommend the home to others.

When my friend was looking for a care home for her mum for a temporary stay she went to many homes in the area. It is a very upsetting time. I visited 3 as well and Hartford Court was finally chosen. When I first arrived I thought how smart the building and outside areas looked. I walked in and instantly was met by friendly staff and patients.

The building was clean, homely, smart and modern. Her room was fantastic but more importantly, the staff were so kind, caring and attentive to my friend's needs. They showed high levels of care and communication with the family. Unfortunately, she only had 2 weeks there but during that time, the care she received was fantastic. I was there for long hours but felt comfortable to help myself to drinks whenever I needed and the staff also looked after the visitors as well. The staff were cheerful and approachable and very caring. She was dealt with dignity at all times. I would recommend this home.

My mum is 93 and lives alone in Winchester. She was looking worn out and in need of a rest so it was agreed that she would take a little respite care to recharge her batteries. I rang up Hartford Court and made an appointment to look around.
From the moment I walked up to reception, I knew that she would be happy there. It looks so nice from the outside and was even better inside. I was given the guided tour and felt that she would be pampered during her time.
All the staff had a lovely attitude, and it was just a case of selling it to Mum. She was apprehensive at first but very quickly felt at home. She tells me the food was terrific, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. She met up with another resident, and they were provided with a member of staff to visit the D Day museum. She came away after 2 weeks fully recharged and I am hoping it won't be long before she makes it her permanent home in the future.

I cannot praise Hartford Court and all who work there highly enough.

Before I discovered Hartford Court, I visited 11 care home but for one reason or another, I felt unhappy leaving my mum there. All that changed when I walked into Hartford Court. As soon as I walked in the home it was so welcoming, the staff are very caring and helpful and the residents are happy and well looked after. I immediately knew my mum would love being part of this 'home community'.

Unfortunately what no one did know was how ill my mum was on arrival. Obviously, this became apparent very quickly. The management and staff took the decision to embrace my mum and for the last two weeks' of her life, the care she received from all at Hartford Court was second to none. Not only did they look after my mum first class but they also gave myself and my family tremendous support in a very difficult and upsetting time for all of us. As a family, we have so much to thank all the staff at Hartford Court for. Their care and devotion to my mum was truly amazing.

My Dad has been a resident of Hartford Court for 18months. He had been self-sufficient at home but got to the point where due to his increasing frailty was no longer able to cope. Since moving to Hartford Court he has had a new lease of life.
At 90 and frail, he now considers it his home. He is very comfortable and cared for in every way by the kind and professional staff there. Above the obvious things like providing all aspects of 24-hour care, very good food, correct medication etc. the staff always make time to chat to my dad and make him feel relevant and an adult - valuing his opinions. He calls the staff his family. We feel that living at Hartford Court has made a significant improvement to my Dad's quality and contentment of life.
On the occasions when there are medical problems, the staff always keep us informed and deal with issues in a professional and timely way, minimising the burden for my Dad and reducing the family worry.

We highly recommend Hartford Court.
