This is the first time I have stayed at a residential plus care home and it has been a delightful experience.
The staff were happy to help you, any request was granted.

The whole atmosphere was always friendly. The whole building was super clean.

5 years ago I came to Wellington Grange, needing care having had frequent visits to hospital and no longer capable of living on my own. Having seen many care homes in my work as a nurse and physiotherapist in practical and managerial posts. I can say that it is the best care home I have ever seen. The kindness, care and help I have received from the staff have returned me to reasonable health and able to enjoy life even 90s. Part of this is due to the manager and her expertise in running the home.

I came to Wellington Grange Nursing and Residential Care Home in August 2023 as my son and daughter considered it to be the best in the area. I had been in the hospital with pelvic and spinal fractures sustained from a bicycle accident in June 2023. I subsequently required respite care to allow the neurological damage to repair and recover. I am now recovering well and convinced that it is all due to the excellent nursing and care support I have received here at Wellington Grange. Having sold my house, I have decided to continue my stay here, now with residential care. I highly recommend it for nursing care and care support.

I cannot speak highly enough of Wellington Grange for the care of my Uncle. From my initial enquiry, they were so helpful after he was no longer able to cope with living alone at home. They helped settle him in for his respite stay and he has continued to live there. They provide a very good standard of care with friendly and supportive staff. They have a beautiful garden for the residents to enjoy or for guests visiting to spend time with their loved ones. Being the only relative, I am very grateful for the care my Uncle receives which has given me peace of mind to know he is in safe hands.

Wellington Grange excels in delivering high-quality, consistent care through compassionate and approachable carers. My mother's survival beyond her six-week End of Life prognosis in July 2023 highlights the exceptional care she receives.

The staff are welcoming, and the home features beautiful, restful gardens and clean, stylish interiors. Residents can enjoy a range of engaging activities, enhancing their quality of life and maintaining independent living. Families can spend quality time together in various break-out areas and cafes. The delicious food further adds to the comfortable and pleasant living experience at Wellington Grange.

Wellington Grange ensured a smooth arrival for my husband when he was repatriated from Greece following hospitalisation after suffering a subdural haematoma. Great care was taken to ensure he was monitored nightly and placed in an appropriate room. When there was cause for alarm the doctor was called. The nursing staff showed great consideration for his needs and also for my feelings about his condition and well-being.

We consider ourselves lucky to have Wellington Grange on our doorstep in Chichester. When my husband proved too much for me to look after he was welcomed into Wellington Grange as a permanent resident. The care, we think, is exceptional, providing a home from home for all the residents. The standards of cleaning are very good indeed and the furnishings kept tip top condition. That is a very full programme of activities with lots to interest. The medical, housekeeping companionships and reception are well staffed by such kindly, friendly people.

Wellington Grange was home to my mother for 6 years. The staff provided a high level of care, friendship and kindness. All the rooms are colourful, comfortable and uplifting. The garden is well-maintained and with shady places to sit.
As I lived abroad I frequently stayed in the lovely Guest Suite which enabled me to spend more quality time with my mother and feel part of the 'family' there.

I can't thank everyone enough at Wellington Grange for all their love and support shown to my mother and us her family over her years there.

Wellington Grange provides an excellent standard of care and my mother has been happy and settled since her arrival. The physical structure and resources are outstanding. The care staff are patient and kind and form a good and appropriate relationship with residents. There is a choice of food and my mother enjoys her meal times. Lots of activities are provided, with an impressive choice of things to do. The garden is lovely and very well cared for.

I can't speak highly enough of the care my dad received during his stay at Wellington Grange. Everything at the home is of the highest standard - the rooms, the food, the attention of the staff and the range of activities on offer for the residents.

Every member of staff I met was very professional, caring and friendly. Not only did they care brilliantly for my dad, but they were all a huge support to me during his final days at the home.

I cannot speak highly enough of Wellington Grange. From the initial assessment to settling mum in the home, everything was done to make things as easy for mum and the family as possible. The home itself is lovely, with high-quality furnishings and modern decor. The garden is well maintained and easy to push a wheelchair around. All the staff are welcoming and so very caring. There is a wide variety of activities to do, including trips out on the minibus. All the extra lounges, coffee areas and library area make it an interesting place to be. Family and friends are welcome to visit at any time and can help themselves to drinks and homemade cakes. I was so impressed that the chef visited mum to find out her likes and dislikes. I highly recommend Wellington Grange as a safe, caring and welcoming place for a loved one to live.

I have lived here for just over one month having decided that I was too old to live alone in a house with a big garden. I knew Wellington Grange as my sister in law lived here for four years. My experience has been very positive. All the staff have been extremely helpful and kind. The food is excellent with plenty of choice and my accommodation is impeccably clean and comfortable. The activities and entertainment are varied and interesting and the trips by minibus are very popular. I love the fact that there are many different sitting areas and a library for quiet contemplation as well as a room with a large screen for showing films.

This has been my third 4-week respite stay at Wellington Grange and it was just as satisfying as the last two. It has been calm, reassuring and restorative. The staff are, without exception, helpful and friendly but not over-familiar. I enjoy solitude but can seek company whenever I like. The food is good and I have enjoyed the activities and outings.

My mother arrived at Wellington Grange after many falls, so the thought of a care home seemed the safest place for her to be, but I was very worried about whether they would be kind and caring towards her. I am completely relieved to say it was the best thing for her. I am amazed at how wonderful all the staff have been in helping her settle in and regain a good quality of life, with good food and professional care. The rooms are hotel standard and the gardens are beautifully kept and well used by the residents. I visit regularly and am always amazed at how attentive all the staff are. It is wonderful that such lovely people are looking after her.

My dad had a three-week respite stay in Wellington Grange. From my first encounter with management, receptionist, nurses, carers and support staff, they all made my dad and myself very welcome. His room was a delight, very welcoming, with everything he needed for comfort during his stay. I went away feeling very confident he would be well cared for which he was.
My dad told me numerous times on my return he was very well looked after during his stay and I thank all the staff for their excellent teamwork. I would have no hesitation in booking my dad in for any future respite stays.

If I had one very small criticism, it was the parking, we found it very difficult, as did the family when they visited, particularly as there is no available parking nearby.
