The home is very bright and clean and there is always someone on reception. Would like to see just a little more contact between residents and carers just by way of - "Good morning, how are you etc, do you need anything." I know there isn't always the time for this.

My dad, initially, was in respite at Wulfrun Rose and went into permanent nursing care, in July 2016 until he sadly passed away December 2017. Choosing a permanent home , for your loved one, when as a family, you are no longer able to look after them, is an extremely difficult decision to make. We
needn’t have worried. The care and dignity showed to my dad was excellent. From the beginning we were made to feel extremely welcome and part of an extended family. If we ever had an issue, we raised it and it would be dealt with to our satisfaction. Every member of staff from reception, kitchen, housekeeping, activities, Carers, nursing staff and management, did everything possible to meet our needs. During the last few days of dad’s life, all staff went above and beyond to make, his final moments peaceful and comfortable. The care and understanding shown to us all is something we will always remember and be grateful for. Thankyou

Having worked in care for the past thirty years, I can honestly write that this has to be of a very high standard throughout the home.
I would not place my mother elsewhere. Very content to know that she is being looked after.

Looked after my Stepfather during his last days and the staff were brilliant. Management could not do enough for him and all the family members, they made sure we had a room to use and that we had plenty of food. The staff treated him with dignity and respect at all times. Brilliant staff and super

Since arriving at this home my mother's health and personal appearance seems far better than at her previous home. Personal presentation is of a much higher standard. Nothing is too much trouble for the care staff. Any problems we mention health wise is dealt with promptly.

Mum went into Wulfrun Rose with a terminal illness, MSA, totally immobile.
From day one she was made very welcome and involved with activities as much as was allowed and also taken on a trip (totally unexpected).
The staff were friendly and helpful. We were kept informed of mum's progress at all times
and nothing was too much trouble for anyone involved.
When mum passed the staff were loving and caring.
So when my mother in law needed nursing care, terminal again, this year 2017, we had no hesitation on where she was to go. Keep up the good work. Thank you is not enough.

It is wonderful for both of us to know my husband is kept safe, nourished and very well looked after whilst in respite care.
I have peace of mind when I go away on a short break. I have complete confidence that his care will be more than adequate and more so, he likes it there and is quite happy for
us both to have the break. All staff go above and beyond their duties. Grateful thanks to management and staff. All excellent.

My mum was sent to Wulfrun Rose for assessment from hospital after an illness. I was in such an emotional state and every member of staff that I spoke to was so kind and helpful. My mum is recovering and starting to interact. She has said that all the staff were kind and caring. It is a beautiful
home, purpose built and very comfortable. Mum is due to go home with a care package in place but when my family and I have a holiday, I hope that she will be accepted back in Wulfrun Rose for respite care. I would then have peace of mind that she would be safe and looked after.

My father had a weeks stay in this home and he expressed how friendly and caring the staff were and that they'd looked after him very well. He ate his meals and said he enjoyed them. Everyone was well organised and plenty going on there. If he was to have to go into respite again he would be happy to
go back there.

Was a bit worried when dad went in the home but have since thought we made the right choice the home is very clean the staff are very pleasant although he doesn't get out of bed he always looks comfy. Nice big telly and from what I see on the notice boards and photo's there are lots going on and the
residents all seem to be looked after.

Despite living in London and only being able to visit my grandmother once or twice a fortnight I am welcomed each time at Wulfrun Rose by warm and friendly staff. This is clearly reflected in the care given to my grandmother. One of the things I am most grateful for is the opportunity to come and have
dinner with my nan and her aunt (who is also a resident). The staff have created a very close and comfortable yet professional relationship with all the residents and their families. It is clear that everyone working here is doing so because they want to, and not because they have to. Despite the circumstances, it is always a pleasure to visit Wulfrun Rose and would highly recommend it as a place for families in search of a care home for their loved one.

I've been in Wulfrun Rose Nursing Home on two occasions over the past six months, as always high-quality care throughout and friendly dedicated staff, always the same familiar faces which is nice. I love my daily activities and little chats with everyone it makes me feel at home. The food is beautiful
and as always a lovely stay. I would highly recommend this home.

Been at Wulfrun Rose since the opening. The home is very nice, friendly clean and plenty of good things, the food is very good, the staff are, all excellent and so is the manager. I have my own garden patch and do all my own growing of plants and herbs. I go out to various places and I enjoy this, have
made some real good friends at Wulfrun Rose.
