I have visited my uncle in this home over the years and in his previous homes before this one. I have always felt that this home suits his previous lifestyle and that he should have been here earlier. However, he has spent the last few years of his life being cared for by a wonderful team, and I can't
say thank you enough for all the love and care that they have given him.
The care is very person-centred, and as I work in the health environment myself, I know how hard it is to get it right. This home is doing a wonderful job, and I highly commend them.
At this difficult time when visitors are not permitted into the home for everyone's safety, I am highly thankful that I was allowed to PPE up myself and pop in for a few minutes as my uncle had deteriorated and I'm happy to say I saw he was being cared for to the fullest extent. Thank you for letting me have that time with him.

I cannot thank this home enough for the care and commitment that they are giving to all the residents and the local elderly people in the community. The care in the home has always been exceptional and now this is overflowing into the local community. Fantastic team from top to bottom left to right
and any which way round. If I need a care home in the future I know this is the one I'll choose. Thank you for making my community better by being in it.

I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone looking for a home for their loved one. I have been very impressed with the care that they give my grandmother. They treat her with respect and dignity and she is extremely happy and settled.
Recently there have been brilliant entertainers and arts
and craft projects going on and I was blown away this week to see living eggs delivered and baby chicks in the home. It was totally amazing and my grandmother can't stop talking about how much fun she's having.

I have just spent a very pleasant day visiting an old friend of mine at Wulfrun Rose. Her family informed me that she had been moved there after becoming unwell and my thoughts were 'oh dear, a care home'. However, from the point of arrival to the point of leaving, I have not experienced such a warm
welcome nor witnessed such devoted and caring staff. The staff team were very pleasant and polite and offered me drinks and even lunch whilst I was there and the care and interaction they showed were second to none. My friend was settled and comfortable and expressed to me that she felt at home with no worries or concerns whatsoever. The family have obviously made the right choice in selecting Wulfrun Rose as the place for their mother and I am happy to say I would visit again most readily and if ever I needed such care then I know where I'm going. A big thank you to the manager and staff for the atmosphere that you have created within this home.

I was worried initially when I was told that my mother had to come to a nursing home as I wanted her in a hospice for her end of life.
But I was pleasantly surprised when my mother was admitted. The care staff couldn't do enough for her and her last few weeks were peaceful and dignified. The whole
experience was made a calming one and I cannot thank the home enough for their support through this time.

Friendly and helpful staff, always putting something on, from trips to shows, also a wide range of games.
Nice clean home; they do all their own cooking on-site from fresh products.

I have been visiting my brother at Wulfrun Rose now for some years and I have to say that I am impressed in the changes I have seen over the recent months. The home has always been caring and considerate and I have never had any worries over my brothers wellbeing. These last few months though, I have
seen increased awareness from staff in how they interact with the residents and they seem to show a deeper understanding of their needs. On questioning the staff, they have informed me that they feel supported and valued by the manager and the senior team and this has uplifted them. The home was clean and tidy, the manager and staff were friendly and sociable and the whole atmosphere was positive. The improvements have turned a good home into a warm and loving home. From the top tier to the bottom, the staff care and that shows.

This is a lovely home. I've visited my friend this week to discover the home has had a new activity lady start to help the other one. This is great and she seemed really nice and bubbly. I would truly recommend this home to anyone who needs care. Faultless.

Wow is all I can say about this home. My mother has been a resident here for some years and has always been settled and comfortable but I always worried about leaving and felt that something was lacking. However, changes have been happening over the last few months and I can now see a real difference
in the environment and feel a real difference in the atmosphere. The manager has worked hard to introduce some new processes and I think they are starting to see the results. The staff are very caring and show my mother a lot of patience. I think the home is moving forward at a lovely pace and look forward to seeing what comes next.

What a wonderful experience of a care home, the staff are truly amazing. Although my Mom was only with the home a short time through palliative care I could not have asked for or wished for a better environment. The staff always addressed my Mum with respect and care., they go above and beyond. I would
have no qualms recommending the home to anyone.

Wulfrun Rose Nursing Home is a lovely, clean, friendly home.
All the staff carers, receptionists, domestics, kitchen are friendly, pleasant, nothing was too much trouble.
The home is well organised, food is excellent.
Rooms clean and very comfortable.
I would highly recommend Wulfrun Rose.

A desperate need to place Mom in a safe, caring, loving environment - our new journey with you began. Exceptional support shown is overwhelming. Thoughtful, kind words, gentleness, care shown to Mom means the world to us all. Mom with very few words, let you know through her smile, she knew you wanted
to care for her and keep her safe and well. You have all shared with us Moms journey. Care is not a job but a vocation and I have to say what a Team you have. I have never met a Manager anywhere that gives so much to his Team and gets so much in return. You are generous with your time, heartfelt words and support. The 'Wulfrun Rose Family' as I will always refer to you as are the benchmark in Care that all Care Homes and their Staff should aspire to be. Sadly after just a few months, Mom has passed, not really able to appreciate the whole environment she was fortunate to be in. Dignity, respect, love shown to Mom as she left this earth, and as she left Wulfrun Rose Care Home was beautiful, overwhelming.

I've been very well looked after and if at any time I have to stay in a home it would certainly be this one.

The ethos at Wulfrun Rose is really impressive. The striking characteristics of warmth, openness, efficiency and excellence of care run through the whole organisation, from the first contact over the telephone and with reception staff – through the carers and nurses – up to the managers.


The environment

at Wulfrun Rose is modern and pleasing. Facilities are good. Members of staff are, without exception, caring and friendly. They never seemed rushed. There are practical, efficient and do all they can for the comfort and well-being of residents. They are very helpful and informative in communications with family members too.


My mother was very unwell when she moved to Wulfrun Rose. She could not have had better care during the last stage of her life. This was a huge comfort to her and to the family.

Wulfrun Rose. A home that cares.


The rooms are a good size light, airy and well furnished with a wet room en-suite facility. There are beautiful gardens. A great activity room where residents have fun from tossing pancakes, playing games, making Easter Bonnets, manicures and many other events.

There is also a Hairdressing Salon.


My mother has been a resident since January 2018. She was really poorly at that time and our family was very worried about her.
The care that both Management and Staff have shown her has been incredible. They're friendly, helpful, extremely professional and nothing is too much trouble, attitude is wonderful to witness.
Now after four months at Wulfrun Rose her pain is well managed and she is extremely happy to be part of " The Wulfrun Rose Family".
Our sincere thanks to everyone at Wulfrun Rose. A care home in the true sense of the words.

My father was a resident in this home and we decided to arrange respite care for him.
From the beginning of our visiting the home and to the end of dad's stay. We were impressed with the friendly, kind and attentive care of the staff. The staff were all very professional and were very approachable
if we asked for information. Dad was supported and looked after very well and he was back on his feet in no time at all. He even opted to extend his time for a further week.
The home was clean, the lounge accommodating and used well by the residents. I have nothing but compliments for Wulfrun Rose.

My brothers and I are full of praise for the way in which our dad was looked after when he came into Wulfrun Rose to convalesce. Following a period in hospital, he was helped and encouraged to get back to a state of health such that he was able to return home. The quality of care, the ambience in the
home, the active involvement of the management and the standards that are expected are all of the highest order.
Unfortunately, some weeks after returning home, dad became poorly again which resulted in a visit to A and E . The manager and his staff arranged for dad to return and made accommodation available to him within 12 hours. A truly remarkable testament to the care, concern and management ability at Wulfrun Rose.
We cannot speak highly enough of the care and loving attention to be found here.

If Wulfrun Rose were a hotel, I would rate it a 5 star. It is however much more than a hotel it is the most loving, caring environment for your loved one to stay. I (and all my family) cannot speak highly enough of it. We can all relax in the knowledge that our 100-year-old mother is being treated with
dignity and lovingly cared for. She has settled in very quickly and is happy in her new home. All the staff at Wulfrun Rose know the true meaning of 'care' in every sense of the word. They are attentive and have a loving approach to all the residents. Without exception, all residents are treated as if they are the carers loved ones. That is the highest praise possible. Our sincere thanks to the excellent management team and all the staff who provide this wonderful service.
