I believe this was one of the best years of my father's life.
The staff were excellent they treated him with respect and dignity and made his time here very special.
The residents and their visitors also played a big part in my fathers well being as they were always friendly and supportive. This Care Home is like no other and has a friendly atmosphere more like a real family home.
I would highly recommend this home to anyone.
My mother stayed at Ty Llandaff Care Home for respite after a hip replacement. The staff were so friendly and supportive treating mum with dignity and respect. Her room was spotlessly clean and spacious with a large on suite wet room. Mum really enjoyed the food which was of very high quality. Although normally shy, by the end of her stay she was taking part in activities. She made such good progress at Ty Llandaff and I would happily recommend this home.
Ty Llandaff is a care home of the highest standard. From its decor, fine foods and variety of activities, plus its high quality of care to all residents. The staff are well trained in all aspects of care work, and the relaxed atmosphere of the building is well recognised by residents, visitors and healthcare workers alike. I have spent twelve very happy weeks here, recovering from two operations on my leg. Personally, I would recommend Ty Llandaff to anyone needing recovery and respite, without doubt, its reputation is spreading rapidly in the Cardiff area.
I went into Ty Llandaff feeling very weak and very low in spirit following a heart attack. The week in Ty Llandaff improved my appetite, built up my strength and improved my self-confidence. I am now coping quite well at home as I am on my own. The prospect was quite daunting before, but I am now managing thanks to Ty Llandaff.
I enjoyed my stay of 2 weeks. Food excellent. Very polite.
What a wonderful place, all staff are so kind and I am so much better going home than when I came in. Thank you all, and I mean all.
Excellent.
After a hip operation I was taken to this care home. This was a complete surprise and certainly all the staff made me feel very welcome, making me feel much better after my stay.
Personally, I cannot fault the care and attention I received from everyone I met including physio. It felt more like a holiday - thank you all.
What can I say about this place! If you want the perfect place for an elderly relative then there is absolutely no other option to be considered in Cardiff.
Both of my parents are at this home and after a very stressful week trying to get straight answers from social services and other care homes, I finally spoke to the home manager and in a 5-minute phone call, the weight of the world was lifted and both my parents had somewhere to go and to not just a home in name, it is home!
The staff here are out of this world, nothing is a hassle, they are there to help the residents but also they help support the family around their residents, something you do not get anywhere else.
If you are still unsure, just turn up and visit here, you will see I am not overstating facts at all and this place is how every care home should be run, staffed, managed and how all residents in a care home anywhere in the UK should be treated.....
I arrived from Llandoch. At Ty Llandaff, I experienced excellent care throughout. The food and kitchen staff have all been friendly and accommodating, as were the others including events, nursing, laundry cleaning etc. The atmosphere is calm when necessary and happy during games time etc. I am leaving feeling happy and rested. The food is of a high quality and served attractively. There is a good variety and having asked for vegetarian options in meals, I had good variety attractively served. I go home happy.
Thank you very much for your support. I will miss you all.
Attended Ty Llandaff in response to my request for a package - left hospital after right hip replacement - the building was in superb condition. The food is excellent, cleanliness top notch. Laundry facilities provided (clothes labelled) every member of staff I came across treated me with respect and kindness. I felt this was a good way to assist my rehabilitation - I cannot express my thanks in any other way.
I would like to say that I have never seen or had experience of a place such as this. In a few words, the staff and management are totally there 100% for the guests. They treat them with total respect and loyalty to them. My wife had a cry and told me that everybody is so kind and understanding. The accommodation is on a par with the best hotels. They look after the physical and mental wellbeing of every resident or guest as they like to refer to them. I could go on and on and on. They are so good.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the home to anyone who asked me.
Ty Llandaff is a shining staff in the care system and the staff are second to none.
Highly recommended to friends.
Take care I will miss you.
Staff are very caring and will do their utmost to fulfil all your needs.
You have a choice of food at mealtimes.
Excellent room - better than some hotels.
They encouraged me to follow useful procedures which prepared me for my return home.
My experience of this place is exactly the same as my previous time here. The food delicious, the staff incredibly caring and supportive, the bedroom great with its large en suite. Every aspect of Ty Llandaff is caring and comfortable and delivered in a high class environment.
