The staff at Weald Heights are a great team who are without exception wonderful - caring for a variety of differing needs with the same amount of attention and empathy. They are also very welcoming to families and visitors, ensuring that they also feel valued. Since my father moved in a year ago his needs have changed a great deal, and we have been overwhelmed by the support both he and we have received from the team in helping him transition from one phase to the next. The team monitor each resident carefully and adjust care accordingly. The entertainment team work incredibly hard at engaging residents in activities both indoors and outdoors, booking excellent entertainers and publishing a monthly guide to all events, whilst the kitchen produces lovely meals and wonderful cakes for the cafe. The ground staff maintain a beautiful and calm outdoor seating area which offers a great place to sit out during good weather.
Dad has been at Weald Heights for over 2 years now and couldn't be happier. He loves to laugh and all the staff join in with his antics every day while also giving him amazing care and loving cuddles! I really couldn't think of a better place for him to be.

My Mum is happy and content at Weald Heights after more than 2 years of excellent care. She often points out how friendly all the staff are and tells me how good the food is. She enjoys the activities, especially the trips out, and the short walks the carers take her on. She loves stroking Lola, the Weald Heights dog, and meeting all the visiting pooches. The absolute highlight of her week is when musicians come in to entertain the residents. I visit her several times a week and the atmosphere is always calm and friendly, the staff are charming and the home is light, clean, sweet smelling and attractive. The small garden sitting area is full of colourful summer flowers, there are home made cakes and fruit with good coffee/tea in the cafe area and the home is decorated with vases and pots of pretty flowers. I know my Mum feels well cared for and safe. I usually find her happy, relaxed and busy which says it all. Thank you to everyone at Weald Heights.

My Dad has lived at Weald Heights for nearly 3 years. He has dementia and was supported by family at home for a few years, then by full-time live-in carers. Family members felt the weight of responsibility in making sure that this man, who had cared for and loved his family for so long, now had...
We looked at many care homes before choosing Weald Heights. We realised their staff/client ratio was good, which means that whenever we visit, there are lots of happy people busy helping the residents. The staff really make it a warm and caring atmosphere, they seem to know all the residents by name and recognise the visiting family too. There are plenty of events organised to bring variety to Dad's days: music, exercise, games, cooking, art, visits to garden centers etc along with 2 of the local churches coming in every other Sunday to provide a church service. He's made many friends and regularly tells us how happy he is.

My father has been in Weald Heights Care Home for two years now and really couldn't be happier with the all-around care that he receives. The staff in particular are extremely attentive and patient and staff turnover seems to be almost non-existent which is usually a sign of a well run institution.

Wonderful, caring and kind people - I couldn't have wished for a better environment for my Dad's elder years. It's expensive but so worth it. We tried looking after him at his own home for a while, but moving him here was the best decision we could have made.

The care staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure her comfort and happiness. The home is clean, well maintained, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is great too. My mother clearly enjoys spending time with her main carers, and there are plenty of smiles and laughter. All the staff are compassionate, attentive, and genuinely caring. My brother, sister and I have welcome peace of mind knowing she is in such good hands.

I am completely impressed with the quality of care and the amount of care given. Every aspect of the home is superior and I would not consider having my husband in another facility. The food is delicious with meaningful choices. The garden is inviting with beautiful and seasonal plantings.

Dad has been at Weald Heights for a year and is so happy there. Every staff member is kind, caring and professional. They make Dad feel valued, supported and safe. He is treated with great dignity and, given his dementia, is positively thriving. He enjoys visits to the café and devours the amazing homemade cakes. He spent most summer afternoons sitting outside in the patio garden, enjoying interacting with family, other residents and visitors. The entertainments are very good. Dad particularly benefits from the one-to-one therapies. The staff have taken over Dad's medical care and appointments, but still involve the family in all medical discussions. Communication is excellent and they phone us immediately if there are any issues. Weald Heights has made us all feel part of its wider family, and the staff support all of us through their wonderful care for Dad and their great kindness to us. Congratulations to Maria and her team, and thank you to all of you. You are outstanding.

I’m a registered nurse by training and have worked in older people’s care for 25 years. Before joining Weald Heights in 2016, I had managed a large care home for ten years. I’ve been at Weald Heights since before it opened its doors. I’m delighted at the way my team and I have made it a home with a first-class reputation.
I believe in setting the standard, rather than following, and we take an innovative, personalised approach to resident care. When residents said they fancied learning a new language, we set up Spanish lessons and joined with a local parent and toddler group so that the generations could learn together. And when a gentleman, who is a keen musician, wanted to visit the Royal Albert Hall for his 90th birthday, we worked with his family to make it happen and to give him an unforgettable day.
I was delighted with our ‘good’ rating from the CQC, which we gained in September 2018. I’m now looking forward to continuing to work with my skilled and passionate team to go one better. Our aim now is to become an ‘outstanding’ provider of great care for older people in Sevenoaks, and across Kent and the South East of England.
