Overall Experience

Riverview is a very homely care home and takes into account everybody's needs and wishes. It is always very welcoming when I go to visit and my friend says he is very happy there and is always full of chat about the things he has done. They seem to have varied activities and the staff are friendly. I have stayed there for tea and the food is really nice and tasty. The residents had cooked it themselves in their cookery group. They have a lovely little garden and my friend uses it a lot.

Review from Angela J (Mother of Resident) published on 6 February 2017 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Our son has been there over 10 years and has received excellent support throughout his time there. The quality of care staff has always been superb, due to the diligent recruitment process and consistent standards set by management. When new residents are selected, good care is taken to ensure the equilibrium of the atmosphere is not interrupted and that the new person gels well with the existing residents.

Whenever there has been an issue, which has been very infrequent, the staff and management are very quick to listen, respond and deal with it to our satisfaction.

Despite a limited budget for our son, Riverview is able to create a range of suitable recreational and day care activities.

Riverview has excellent communication with parents, ensures an annual review takes place and involves us fully with all aspects of our son's care and his health and wellbeing.

We can't recommend it highly enough.
