My aunt has been a resident for over a year now and continues to be very happy here. The staff provide a good level of not only care but also show interest in her as an individual, particularly the well-being team.

This place is amazing. The care that has been given to my dad when he was poorly was excellent. My dad feels at home as everyone is treated like family. Management and all staff go above and beyond to help cater for Dad's needs. I never worry about him when I'm not there as the love and care he receives
is just amazing.

My Mam is very well and patiently cared for by all members of staff. Every one of them is cheerful and pleasant, all the time, in spite of doing a difficult job with many residents. Thank you all so much.

My husband spent 2 weeks respite in the care of Grampian Court.
The care staff were exceptional, as were the management.
The home is extremely clean and well looked after and the activities were well organized. I would recommend Grampian Court to anyone looking for an exceptional standard of care
for their relatives or loved ones.
Hopefully, I will be using this home again, it is a weight lifted off my mind to have found such a lovely place to leave my husband, it felt very much like home from home.

The overall care for my mother is good. She looks healthy and is putting on weight. My only concern is she has been hit by another resident three times.

The staff in the main are caring, considerate and very helpful, some more than others. Mam was treated with dignity and respect, couldn't ask for anything more. Communication excellent. We were kept informed of health concerns at all times. We would recommend the home to others. Thank you for your support
at difficult times. They have given my mam palliative care - this was exceptional, all carers have been outstanding. Were there whenever needed.

Each time I visit the care home I have found the atmosphere to be very relaxing. My mam always seems to be relaxed and comfortable, any issues that have arisen during my visits which have been few and far between., have been dealt with professionally and immediately by the staff. I have no issues with
this care home. God bless all the staff.

Mam has settled very well in her time at Grampian Court. All the staff cater to her needs very well and give her assistance when needed. We didn't want Mam to come into a care home if we had a choice but as a family we had no choice. We would highly recommend Grampian Court to any family looking for
a care home.

Extremely impressed with the care and attention given by all the staff I came in contact with. Management of the home was not just a name but was regularly facing an active role in the care of my sister-in-law. Staff were always smartly dressed and also gave attention to family and friends visiting
the residents and prepared to answer questions and give help when necessary. Given press reports on care homes in recent years, I was extremely impressed with the all-around standards of this home.

A truly loving, caring, compassionate staff which includes all who work in the home. They show concern for the residents but also for the visitors to the residents. We are amazed at their 100% care, nothing is too much trouble. Care for the terminally ill is all anyone could ask. My sister has been
well cared for. My gratitude to all who work there.

Mam has been in Grampian for about 22 months now. I visit every day and have consequently got to know the staff and some residents very well. The home is lovely, as are all the staff, who do their best to cater for my mam's needs. My only concern is the number of carers who see to Mam's physical needs,
particularly her toilet needs. Quite simply, there aren't enough staff employed to cater effectively for this. Waiting times for toileting are sometimes very long. I have no complaints at all about the staff, there just aren't enough of them. Surely with the money the owners of the home are taking in each week, they could afford to employ more staff and make what is a very good care home an excellent one. I want to stress again that the existing staff are excellent and I have every sympathy for them because, at times, due to the demands placed upon them, their job is a very difficult and frustrating one. They themselves realise that, occasionally, the service provided could be better.

My dad came into Grampian Court Care Home last week feeling very nervous and unsure. Thanks to the wonderful staff, he is settling nicely. At home, he wouldn't thank you for a meal, having no appetite, but now he is trying many different meals and says the food is beautiful. The management and staff
are fabulous.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.859)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.859) out of 10 for Grampian Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 31 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 31 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.859 for Grampian Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (324 Excellents x 5) + (39 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 369 Ratings = 4.859
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Grampian Court Care Home is based on 31 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 57 registered maximum number of service users is 11.4, which has been reached with 31 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
