I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single member of staff at Grampian Court Care Home for the care and compassion given to my mam from June 2022 until she passed in March 2023. When living at home was no longer possible we as a family along with mam choose Grampian Court to care for
her. I believe she had built up a good relationship with the staff who work there. Thank you does not seem adequate but we wholeheartedly appreciate their care and also support for us.

As a family, we couldn't be happier with the service from Grampian. Since his arrival, my grandad's overall welfare has clearly improved. He has put on a healthy amount of weight, is full of colour, and he is much more confident in his movements. Our family has peace of mind, which we haven't had in
a long time, knowing he is constantly cared for by great, friendly and truly caring staff.

My father has recently been admitted to Grampian Court and it has changed his life. From a man who had become aggressive towards his family, he is now so happy. He enjoys all of the activities which are excellent, taking him out and indoor activities. The care staff are excellent. The home is always
clean and tidy. The management team are really good at answering any questions/helping. Thank you for giving me my dad back!

I love being here. Staff are most obliging; they go out of their way to help. The home is lovely and clean, all activities are wonderful, and I enjoy trips on the minibus. If everyone was like one lady, this would be wonderful, she goes out of her way to help everyone, and activities are great.

Excellent. Mum is cared for and has the opportunity to be included in activities and to go out on trips. Mum speaks very highly of the staff and how well she is looked after. She is settling in well, whether she will accept it as her home seems unlikely, maybe in time.

A lovely care home and the staff are very friendly. Beautiful decor and well-kept areas. They have lots of activities for residents. I feel very confident that my aunt is being looked after and cared for. We attended a quiz night which was very interactive - organised by the enthusiastic activities
coordinator. It was lovely to see everyone joining in.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.859)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.859) out of 10 for Grampian Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 31 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 31 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.859 for Grampian Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (324 Excellents x 5) + (39 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 369 Ratings = 4.859
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Grampian Court Care Home is based on 31 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 57 registered maximum number of service users is 11.4, which has been reached with 31 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
