Mam was admitted during the pandemic. My answers are based on our interaction with staff and observing staff with mam and how they speak about mam. We appreciate how the staff have supported mam to settle in during a very difficult time and their efforts to keep her safe.

Mam received wonderful care from all the staff here. Every single one of them are really caring and compassionate. Although it was hard not being able to visit during COVID-19 I wasn’t concerned at all as I knew Mam was receiving first-class care. All staff work really hard in order to maintain the high quality of care but they still have a smile and joke with the residents. I can’t thank them enough, especially Mam's last days. So lovely for them all to come outside and say a final farewell to Mam lining the road each side.

I am very pleased with the care my mother receives here, especially in the recent circumstances of Covid. I am so relieved to be able to trust the staff with her health and care and the fact that they have gone to extreme lengths to keep her safe. The staff provide a lot of extra things to entertain the residents and it must be more difficult with not being able to have the usual people in. They have provided lots of entertainment, activities to help residents especially with lack of visitors at times.

Mam has been here 14 months and has been given really good care by all staff, Mam gets attention and mental stimulation that she needs, supervised meals, personal hygiene etc. I have no concerns for her welfare as she is doing well here. Standards in the home are high and staff works hard to achieve them.

These have been worrying times for families who have been unable to see their loved ones. The manager and her staff keep us informed about how she is doing with telephone updates and photos, which is very reassuring for us. We will be forever grateful for all they have done for my Mum.

Management is always adaptable and open to new ideas, helpful and approachable. Activities continue during the lockdown. A variety of activities given and tries to meet individual needs as well as whole groups. Night shift seems to do a good job getting my Mam ready. She always looks clean and tidy. Food seems varied and good and tries to cater to my Mam's needs. Cleaning and laundry staff operate at a high standard.

It has been a difficult time for everyone but the staff have been very good. My mother had to go into a care home in June and the manager and all the staff made this move for mam and us as a family, as easy as they could. They care for her very well and I can not fault the staff.
