Grampian Court Care Home, situated in the friendly town of Peterlee, supports older people to lead their best lives with personalised residential and residential dementia care.

This warm, welcoming home offers a choice of several comfortable sitting rooms and dining areas, as well as its own hair and beauty salon and café. The lovely landscaped garden, which is looked after by residents and is a great place to relax in the warmer weather.

The catering team at Grampian Court understands the nutritional needs of older people and creates delicious meals which can be enjoyed in the spacious dining areas which provide a welcoming space to enjoy meals with fellow residents, or family and friends.

From care assistants to wellbeing coordinators and chefs, each and every member of the professional care team is there to support residents as they settle in to life at the home. Mam really enjoyed an outing to Saltburn and was well looked after and had a lovely day out. The garden facilities are great for residents in nice weather.

I visit the home on occasions and find the staff very helpful and willing to help and advise you, whatever you want to know. Today I had the pleasure of calling in and the entertainment was excellent and the residents were really enjoying themselves and the staff also got involved.

We have had another few days visiting my mother in law. Because we live in Cornwall, we don't get up here as often as we would like. We are therefore hugely grateful to all the staff and facilities offered at Grampian Court. We have often talked about what type of care home might best suit Mum and always
conclude our discussions by saying we doubt we could have found a better one!
Staff are always bright and breezy, care for everyone individually, all of which promotes a really happy environment, which leaves us very assured that Mum is in the very best place for her and us.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Emma has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked for HC-One for many years, Emma closely shares the company’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Grampian Court.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Emma remarked:


“I just love that no two days are ever the same, every day can be a new experience.”


Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending quality time with her two children, family and friends.
