Overall Experience
Since I moved to Nelson Lodge, I have slept like I have never slept before. I feel so well looked after and the beds are so comfy.

The carers are second to none, they are wonderful. When I need them I ring the bell and they are helping me in a flash. It's like a 5-star hotel. The food is amazing.

Jeanette Whitbread
Jeanette WhitbreadJob Title:ManagerJoined: 2022

I have worked in both the charity and care sectors for over 30 years. My experience includes 15 years with MENCAP as a Registered Home Manager. I then joined Leonard Cheshire as a Quality Manager.

I love the care sector, and I am very passionate about care and its delivery. I have lived in St Neots for over 20 years, and I see strengthening the relationships Nelson Lodge has with their local community as a vital part of my new role. I’m keen to support our residents’ connections with our local community. I’m passionate about introducing students and young people into the care profession, where I started a programme for Health and Social Care undergraduates at a local college.

In my spare time, I enjoy touring the UK with my much-loved caravan and spending time with my family and my gorgeous Granddaughter.
