I have only visited Arlington Manor once to visit my cousin who has been there for 3 weeks. From the moment we arrived we were most impressed. My cousin seems to have settled remarkably well (unexpectedly) and seemed like a changed woman! The staff could not have been more helpful.

Arlington Manor has a very nice ambience. The staff are all very friendly but my understanding is that requests from my mother are sometimes slow to be acted upon. The room is very well appointed but for the price, it would have been good to have a recliner/tip armchair as standard. The food is very
good and I notice other things can be requested. The cafe is an excellent idea.

I was very wary of leaving my husband in a care home for three weeks respite stay because I feared he wouldn't settle and I would be anxious.
Arlington Manor lived up to its good reputation. Staff were thoughtful and caring. I and my family were reassured by the excellent care provided and the constant
support and good humour. When a sad situation developed we were treated with dignity and warmth and the utmost consideration.

My mother stayed at Arlington Manor for a short stay while work was being done on her house. She was welcomed warmly on arrival and staff took the time to find out what she liked in terms of activities and food. Throughout her stay staff were warm and caring and looked after my mother well.

My 82 year old mother needed residential care for 5 weeks while her house was converted to ground floor living. The care and support she received during her stay was of an extremely high standard from staff who were professional, friendly and understanding of my mother's needs. The room and en suite
bathroom was very comfortable with the telephone line a real bonus for someone who prefers that to a mobile. The food was of a high standard and mum enjoyed mixing with other residents during mealtimes. The range of activities was very varied and if it had been summer, I know mum would have thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the garden. From my mum's perspective, Arlington Manor was a place that met her care needs while from the family side, we knew mum was in safe hands and that removed a significant burden of worry from our shoulders. I would highly recommend Arlington Manor if you are looking for either short term or long term care.

My mother moved into Arlington Manor in June 2019. From her first day, my mother was warmly welcomed as were my sister and I and all staff continue to greet us in a warm and friendly way. They are all very kind, considerate and caring and are more than happy to help in any way they can. My mother settled
in very well and has a good relationship with everyone. We feel reassured by the care she gets and know she is looked after well and happy there.

In my opinion, you will not find a better care home than Arlington Manor. From the first phone call to make enquiries the service I and my mum have received has been nothing short of excellent. I was so impressed on my initial visit. All the staff seemed happy in their work and the interaction I heard
between the care staff and residents was lovely. The facilities are superb, the rooms spacious and well designed and without exception, the place is spotlessly clean. On future visits, the staff all remembered my Mum's name. I knew instinctively that Arlington Manor was the right home for my mum. The day my mum, who has Alzheimer’s disease, moved in was a difficult day for me with very mixed emotions but it was made so much easier with the support we received from the staff. Mum has now been a resident for nearly four weeks and the difference in her is amazing. She is happy, eating and sleeping better than she has in years and is loving the social interaction and the planned activities.

Having signed the paperwork whilst in hospital, hoping my son and daughter-in-law had chosen well.
When I was brought over for my husband's birthday, the overall effect was cleanliness, friendly, spacious.
I'm sure he will settle. We are most grateful for the care you are giving and it gives us peace

The facility has lots of lovely features which makes you feel you are arriving at a health club rather than a care home. We particularly liked the light and airy cafe with the help yourself service to cakes and refreshments and the patio added a luxurious feel like you are on holiday. Dad's room was
lush and clean, at all times the staff were gentle and polite.

My husband stayed for two weeks while I had some respite. He was settled and contented after settling in and was well looked after.
The staff were unfailingly kind and considerate of his needs. When things were forgotten, the staff responded to reminders quickly.
He was not keen to participate in
activities and he was encouraged but not pleased.
Very happy with the stay for him.

My mother moved into Arlington Manor Care Home 5 months ago, and from the very first day, she has felt extremely happy, content and settled. Even before she moved in the support we received was excellent and the move went very smoothly.
Arlington Manor is an exceptional care home. The management team
and staff are professional, caring and always available to listen and support you with any questions you may have. The care team is amazing. The carers are all very professional, well qualified, incredibly caring, dedicated and above all authentic and come from the heart. The care they give my mother is exceptional; she is treated with dignity and respect and it is a joy for me and the whole family to see her so happy and enjoying her life. She has a beautiful room and enjoys the interesting, daily activities very much. The food is delicious and always beautifully presented. Arlington Manor is spacious, superbly furnished with lots of natural light and comfortable lounges and a lovely care where you can meet the other residents and be together as a family. It is very welcoming and a place you can truly call home.

Due to a dislocated shoulder, soaring blood pressure, all I wanted was peace and quiet after a week in hospital and this is what I found at Arlington Manor. Here the staff were so kind and helpful. My son booked me in for 2 weeks. I stayed a few days longer until I was ready to go home. It is a comfort
to know Arlington Manor is nearby if I fall again on my allotment!

I’m very glad we found Arlington Manor. The staff throughout the home are caring and friendly. My wife is very happy and really appreciates the care she receives. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. There are excellent facilities throughout the home, including a craft and games room,
a lovely music room, a bright and comfortable cafe where residents and friends can get drinks and excellent cakes at any time. Services such as hairdressing and nail care, chiropodist etc. are very helpful. Very modern, very spacious but most importantly very caring. Truly first class.

Mum made her decision to move into Arlington Manor immediately after her first visit. The staff are very friendly and eager to please and promote a positive and stimulating ethos.
The building and furnishings are well designed and comfortable, lovely lounge areas, quiet spaces and a "buzzy" cafe.
The
chef is trying to please all the residents with a varied menu and I have enjoyed a couple of lunches with mum (although some of the food was not hot enough).
I am happy because mum is happy.

I am committed and dedicated to training and mentoring my team to provide compassionate, respectful relationship-centered care and to promote independence, well-being, and focus on a sense of achievement.


It's very important to me to trust and empower my team to grow and develop their skills and knowledge to be able to offer the best quality and care with confidence to every resident and to each other supporting future aspirations.
