After looking at other care homes locally my sister and I chose Lincroft because the staff were all so friendly and welcoming, everyone smiled and/or said hello. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, It was also spotlessly clean. We could not be happier with her care.

They are very kind and offer help to Me with anything. The food here is very good and there is always extra if I want it. My room is well equipped and I have my own shower. The cleaner comes in every day. I enjoy the activities.

Mum has been at Lincroft for 8 months since losing her husband of 67 years. The team at Lincroft have gone the extra mile to help her settle.
The staff are open, honest and react to every request regardless of the size.
The family atmosphere within the home makes it a joy to visit. We often join activities as a family and have made many friends within the Lincroft community.
A huge turning point in Mums transition has been the 1-1 trips out with the activities team. I never believed my Mum would be telling me she had been to a coffee shop in Banbury for the first time at 92. Just one of several trips this year.

I cannot find enough words to convey my thanks.

Further to my previous review, I am writing to say how beautifully cared for my mother was in her last days. The staff were without exception kind, gentle and helpful to her and to me, and made the final few weeks far less stressful than they might have been. I would recommend Lincroft Meadow unhesitatingly.

I am aged 89 and have been a resident for 2 1/2 years. I am partly disabled and have found the facilities and staff faculties in every way it is a very happy home, and most comfortable also secure, there lots of activities of which the staff always show and interact. I would find it difficult to find a way of improvement how can you improve on the best? The management are very approachable and very kind. I must say I have landed on my feet, and am very happy.

My father was a resident in Lincroft for 3 years. The level of care was appalling. He was admitted to hospital quite a few times, all as a result of dehydration. Terrible level of service especially given he was paying about £2,500 per week!! Shocking!!

My mother stayed at Lincroft Meadow Care Home for eight months before she sadly passed away, and I cannot thank the staff enough for the care and kindness they showed her during that time.
From the very first day, they made her feel welcome and part of the home.
Every member of staff were brilliant-always caring, compassionate and respectful.
It gave our family great comfort knowing she was safe, well looked after, and genuinely loved and cared for by everyone there.
The activities team were fantastic. There was always something going on, and they constantly encouraged mum to join in and stay involved. It made a positive difference to her time there.

Thank you to all the staff for the compassion and dedication you showed to my mother. It will always be remembered and appreciated by our family.

Very impressive in all aspects, from our first visit twelve months ago, to date. Facilities, staff, friendly and welcoming, attention to details, clean, tidy and so on...
A couple of glitches along the way, which have been attended to promptly.

I would recommend arranging a visit and see for yourselves.

The staff are all kind, helpful and polite. Nothing is too much for them to help. There is a happy and relaxed atmosphere on mum's unit, which only changes when needs must. Mum has a choice at each meal and is well fed. The food is lovely I've arranged a private lunch with mum so have sampled it many times. Mum is very happy which makes me very happy.

My husband was very well cared for in his last illness. We are both treated with kindness and compassion and our wishes considered wherever possible.

There were one or two small issues which were swiftly dealt with. There were 4 nurses whose care was outstanding and we were always pleased when they were on duty and the management team were compassionate and kind. Overall, were more than satisfied with the room and care we both received and my husband died in peace.

Mum was very nervous about entering into Lincroft but we had looked around at a few alternatives and soon realised Lincroft offered far and away the best facilities and care and we knew Mum would be really happy here.
Mum and, indeed, all of us, were made extremely welcome from the first day. They made her so comfortable and all the other residents were really friends.
The Bistro area / coffee shop is an amazing place for mingling and joining in conversations and seeing a lot of new faces everyday. Other visitors, young and old and even pets all join in together to chat.
The daily activities are incredibly varied - I have never known Mum do art in her life but she threw herself into whatever was on offer. She looked forward to the cinema afternoons as well.

From the minute you step through the door to visit all sthe staff are friendly and welcoming and this feeling carries through every day.

My mother was a resident for 2.5 years and from day 1 she felt loved by everybody. Sadly passed away in the first week of October. Thank you all for being so kind, patient and understanding to a grand old lady of 102 years. She didn't mix with many people due to her ongoing dementia but formed a close bond with a few of the carers and other staff. Mum didnt join in many of the activities, probably due to her illness and deafness, but she was happy to the very end for which we are truly grateful.

Staff laid on an amazing afternoon tea for my Mothers Birthday - staff are always so friendly and helpful.

Back in May staff at Lincroft held a secondary wedding ceremony (after a registry office wedding) they really made the day very special for my Mum (who can not leave the home) and myself and my Husband and laid on an afternoon reception- they really went beyond expectations.

Our mum was a resident at Lincroft Meadow for almost 4 years. Throughout her stay, she was met with kindness, care and respect. Her ability to join in with activities was limited but she enjoyed the musical ones and the church services in particular. Taking the decision to move Mum from her home to Lincroft was extremely difficult but we do not think she could have been in a better place as the impact of Alzheimers and her nursing needs were understood and met. As relatives, we were always welcome and kept up to date with any changes in her care and routines. The staff were friendly and professional and we appreciated the consistency in the management and nursing teams. Prior to her death Mum was treated with compassion and dignity and we are so grateful for the support and understanding that we received. We will miss our visits there.
