We have been delighted with the support and care given by everyone at Lincroft. The support for us as a family has been so appreciated. Learning about dementia and doing the best for my father hasn't been easy but Lincroft has really helped.

The care, and support for my father have been of a high standard. It isn't an easy time, but Lincroft has helped us steer our way at such a difficult time.

We decided to move Mum from the care home she was using as we didn’t feel the care was of good standard and after visiting a couple of times prior to her moving we all decided Lincroft was the best choice. We knew it would be a difficult transition but she seems to have settled in well. The staff are absolutely wonderful, it’s clean and doesn’t smell at all, the residents all look beautiful and smart and well cared for. Mum is finding it difficult to complain about anything which is a massive bonus. The coffee area is perfect for both the residents and visitors and there is always something going on for the residents to join in if they choose. Although she has only just begun her stay we are more than happy and it’s a relief to come away knowing she is safe and well looked after.

Thank you for your wonderful review of our home. We are so pleased that your mum is settling in here at Lincroft Meadow, and that you feel she is receiving good care. Our coffee area is certainly a good spot for a coffee and a slice of cake, and we really enjoy families making the most of it.

Lincroft Meadow provided an exemplary care service for my wife who had complex needs following a head injury accident. Since becoming a resident, she has made significant improvements to both her cognitive and physical abilities. The management and staff have been very supportive and have contributed considerably to this success, for which I am extremely grateful. I would therefore recommend Lincroft to anyone wishing to receive the best of care for themselves or their loved ones.

From the moment I stepped through the entrance, the feeling was of a 5-star hotel, not a care home.

It was the first care home that I looked at for my elderly mother, and put simply, I did not need to look any further. Although sadly, my mother was only there for three weeks before passing, I could not find any fault with all those caring for her. All the staff from senior management down were very attentive to her needs and made her feel very welcome and special. Also, I found them all very quick and easy to contact when I needed to.

I have seen many examples at Lincroft Meadow of humane, compassionate professionalism of the highest quality. I know that my mother has been quite needy in terms of personal contact and that the busy carers have done their very best to occupy her and keep her contented. The care provided has been wonderful. I have the very highest regard for Lincroft Meadow for what, in my experience, Lincroft Meadow achieves on a day-to-day basis.

A lovely facility in a fantastic location for us to regularly visit. You are welcomed with a smile by friendly staff members, and there are always lots of staff and residents to say hello to, especially at the cafe.
We have been very impressed by the cleanliness and provisions in the rooms, with the added bonus of being able to add personal touches such as pictures and ornaments.
We were treated to a fantastic festive meal with the residents - there was music, lots of Christmas jumpers and a glass of Buck’s Fizz to celebrate. It was a great chance to meet other residents and their families.
There are lots of activities and events going on so I don’t think you could get bored. Equally, there are lots of spaces for quiet time to read or watch a movie in the cinema.

Lincroft has an amazing team that makes sure every need of the residents is attended to, and it doesn’t feel like your traditional care home. We are so pleased Grandad has moved in! Thank you to the client services manager and the team!

My wife has been at the care home since the 28th of September. The facilities are excellent. Always clean and tidy. The accommodation is very good. Nice spacious ensuite room with a personal television. In addition, the two day rooms provide a pleasant place for visitors. Food is very good. In addition, the downstairs café provides a nice change. The management are extremely helpful and understanding. The staff, from reception to carers and nurses, are very caring and genuinely care and take an interest in all patients. There are lots of activities that cater for everyone. My wife is in a good place.

After a very difficult time with both my parent's health deteriorating rapidly within 2 weeks, we had found ourselves in a crisis.
Lincroft became our lifeline.
My father sadly passed away, leaving my mum distraught with overwhelming anxiety.
The client manager was very supportive from day one. She empathised with the situation we were all in, and did her very best to help us.
The carers/nurses have been amazing with my mum, spending time reassuring her and just listening to her, and offering her such warmth and compassion with their care.
I can honestly say I have seen a change in my mum's well-being, both mentally and physically, and this is due to each and everyone at Lincroft.

"Thank you" for looking after my mum who is so precious to me.

All the staff we have come across have been genuinely kind and caring, right through from the staff in the office to the nurses on the floor. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, even in the first few days when Dad entered and I was on the phone or sending an email every five minutes!

The home itself is lovely and welcoming for residents and visiting family members alike.

I have to admit that I was dreading moving my sister from her home into Lincroft Meadow, as she was decidedly opposed to the whole idea. In fact, the experience was much better than I could have envisaged. The move was made as smooth as it could be, the kindness towards my very confused sister was genuine, and I felt reassured that I was leaving her in safe and gentle hands. Although it's still very early days, I am so pleased that we have chosen Lincroft Meadow.

My mother is very happy at Lincroft Meadow. She has been a resident for more than six months. We found it difficult to find a home that felt right, but as soon as we visited Lincroft Meadow we knew we had found the right place for her. It is a warm, caring and stimulating environment for her and it is such a relief for us to know that she is being well looked after and is so happy. She enjoys the company and the range of activities and sometimes says it is almost like being on holiday. It is a pleasure to visit her and we always feel welcome. Being able to help yourself to a coffee anytime and bring your dog to visit makes it feel more like her home. The facilities are very good and her room is attractive and well presented but it is the staff who are exceptional. We have been impressed by their warmth and sense of fun and our mother really values this too.

Lincroft Meadow is a wonderful place. My mother received excellent care. The staff were so welcoming, caring and understanding. It was lovely to be able to personalise her room to make her feel at home. Lincroft exudes such a friendly atmosphere, shown to relatives as much as residents that one quickly feels that it is one big caring family. Being a modern, purpose built home it is like an all inclusive five star hotel and there is so much on offer. The carers helped Mum go to various activities, her own hairdresser was able to use the salon, the visiting chiropodist worked wonders with her toe nails and she loved having coffee and cake in the bistro and attractive garden - and smelling the lavender! The nursing and personal care were exemplary and the staff were so aware of, and attentive to, her needs. Lincroft's working relationship with a local GP gave enormous confidence when medical intervention was required and Mum's brief end of life care could not have been managed better.

The Lincroft team provide an exceptional quality of care to meet the needs of every resident.

Lincroft recently excelled in the celebration of my relative’s 101st birthday. We were overwhelmed by the effort made by all the staff to ensure her special day was one not to forget! Lincroft Meadow was home to my father for the last 5 months of his life. It is a beautiful home, with excellent accommodation, facilities, food and care. It is made by its staff, genuinely kind and caring people for whom nothing is too much trouble, whether for residents or their families. Dad settled into a good routine. He kept his dignity and humour throughout in no small part thanks to the efforts of all of the staff who knew him personally. He enjoyed the cafe and garden, the occasional outing and the dining room - and his daily glass of wine. The transition from active resident to end-of-life care was fairly swift and really well handled by the home, we could not have asked for more. We always felt welcome and informed and knew that he was in good hands; whilst it was our first such experience, we really benefited from the great knowledge, experience and kindness of the Lincroft team.

We were so pleased to have found such a warm, caring environment for Dad in his final months. Lincroft Meadow really felt like a second home - friendly, welcoming, and such a pleasant place to visit. It was a huge relief to know that Dad was in safe hands and would receive outstanding care around the clock. We were particularly impressed with how well the staff kept us up-to-date on Dad's condition and liaised with us to make the best possible decisions on his behalf. Just as importantly, as his health declined, we knew that the final chapter of his life would be filled with kind words and friendly faces.

The Lincroft Meadow staff have been truly outstanding in their kindness and support for Mum since she moved in at the beginning of October. Every member of staff with whom we've interacted has seemed genuinely caring and kind; their patience, stamina and kind attentiveness have been exemplary during a transition period that Mum has at times found disorienting.
The quality of the facilities at Lincroft is also excellent. Mum has a lovely room, and the ample, well-kept provision for care needs and for activities and entertainment is remarkable. We've not seen anything like the abundance and range of daily activities laid on for residents in any of the other homes that we've visited.

Perhaps what's most telling is the genuine enthusiasm that staff seem to feel for working at Lincroft and being with the residents. So many of them have said that they honestly love working there, and their ready, kind smiles contribute hugely to the ethos of this special place. Thank you!
