I started visiting Lincroft in February 2023. We attended the monthly toddler group and loved it. Seeing all the residents' faces light up was just so lovely. At the time, my children were 5 months and 3 years old. We have been coming every month since. We have built some lovely friendships with the residents and my children love coming. We often visit at any opportunity, we are always so warmly welcomed. The staff are exceptional! It's a truly wonderful place to visit. The residents always appear very happy.

I bring my girls to visit their granny each week and they love it as much as she does. The home is welcoming and so accommodating to us all and the facilities are fabulous.
There's always something going on to keep the residents entertained and we like to join in too!

From my first meeting with the Client Services Manager, I felt welcomed and knew that my Father would be valued and cared for at Lincroft Meadow. Time was taken to understand his physical, emotional and spiritual needs and to learn much about the man and his life history. I was impressed that on my initial tour, conversations were had with every resident we met and an interest was taken in each individual. We were offered a room promptly and given help and support with a difficult transfer from a hospital in Wales. My Father was made immediately welcome and his needs assessed. Sadly, he passed away after five weeks but he, and we, were made to feel a part of the community and enabled to celebrate Xmas together. The care my Father received on Snowdrop was exemplary; I was impressed with the quality and communication of the staff and their relationship with the GP, facilitating the best medical care. At a difficult time, the staff also cared for us which was special and much appreciated.

My nan seems very happy here and there is always lots of activities going on that not only the residents - but family and visitors can join in with too. We have enjoyed taking part in the easter hunt & the Christmas party and have regularly attended the toddlers at Lincroft Group. Staff are always very welcoming and supportive and keep us up to date.

Great variety of food and drinks & service with a smile. :)

Today, 8 of the family came to the Lincroft Easter Egg Hunt. We ranged in ages down from 2 years old. Everyone had a fabulous time, the morning was excellently organised and we all had a lot of chocolate, and cake.
The lovely touches that were done especially for the children made the time very special. Thank you to the Client Services Manager and all of her team.

We look forward to the next event.

Mum has been at Lincroft Meadow Care Home since February when she stayed for respite care when Dad went into hospital. Unfortunately, Dad passed away and Mum's stay became long-term. We cannot praise the staff enough for helping Mum who has dementia to settle in at what has been a very difficult time. The care and kindness shown is fantastic. We were worried about Dad's funeral but the staff were amazing. They reserved a quiet area for family members to meet beforehand and thoughtfully provided refreshments. A staff member also discreetly attended the service in case we needed support with Mum and was there to welcome her back afterwards. This took a lot of the worry out a difficult day. It is a relief to the family to know Mum is being so well cared for. There are lots of lovely activities organised at the home and we appreciate the staff taking the trouble to gently encourage Mum to join in. If we need to talk anything over, there is always someone available. Thank you Lincroft.

My mother has been struggling with dementia for years and was determined that she would never agree to going into care. We got her to the car park where she refused to get out of the car. The senior team came out to greet her and within minutes had coaxed her inside the doors. We persuaded her to stay for a week. After a day she rang me laughing and saying what a great times she was having, After a week she had already asked the staff if she could stay at the 'hotel' for longer as she was having such a good time! Her dementia is complex and difficult to manage at times, but the staff have managed each situation with care, compassion and dignity. They have responded by creatively modifying her care plan each time to make sure she is as settled, happy and engaged in the programme of activities.

It is without a doubt the best care home I have encountered both in my career in the NHS and on a personal level for other family members.

My mum moved to Lincroft Meadow in August from another care home as she needed greater nursing care. I wish we had moved her sooner. Sadly my mum died after only 4 months at Lincroft but the impact on the quality of her final months was huge. Lincroft Meadow is such a wonderful place. The facilities are fantastic and the staff warm, compassionate and caring. My mum loved the varied activities on offer and the wonderfully bustling cafe downstairs and gorgeous gardens which made frequent visits with my young children so easy, allowing my mum to spend precious quality time with her grandchildren (which is not always easy in a care home setting). What made Lincroft Meadow stand out for me though was their holistic approach to care, not only did they look after my mum with compassion and kindness but they also looked after her family, supporting us wonderfully when Mum first arrived and later in her final weeks. I honestly could not recommend Lincroft Meadow highly enough.

When we moved our elderly mother with dementia to be closer to my brother, we were determined to find her a home where she would not just be cared for, we wanted her loved too. We found Lincroft Meadow and knew it was a special place. The staff welcomed her, respected her, cared for and loved her. They took time to understand her likes, dislikes and sense of humour! As a retired nurse she loved to sit with the staff and give out orders as well as her opinions and the staff just went along with her, it was perfect. They are clearly very highly qualified in the care of dementia patients, and they even took the time to teach us about Mum's condition.
In addition to the amazing care, the facility is very well kept, always clean and warm, great food choices and very tasty. Mum enjoyed her total experience very much; she often told us how she really liked living in the 5-star hotel!

As a senior nursing administrator and a nurse of over 40 years, I assure you this care team is the gold standard.

My mum has been in respite care in Lincroft for the last 3 weeks and right from the start she has received the best care. The staff are so kind and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. She recently celebrated her birthday and they laid on a lovely afternoon tea in the private dining room, including a lovely cake and Prosecco. (Dietary requirements all catered for too). We are all very impressed with Lincroft and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone seeking care for a relative. They go the extra mile to make the residents feel at home. Thank you.

My husband who has advanced Parkinson's has just had a week of respite care at Lincroft Meadow.

The staff were all very welcoming and caring. He enjoyed participating in the activities particularly the outing in the minibus to a Palace to see the lights. I was impressed by the fact that the staff took his individual needs into consideration. There is a very nice atmosphere in the home, very welcoming. He would be happy to have a return visit.

From our very first visit to Lincroft Meadow we were given such a warm welcome and were so reassured by the lovely atmosphere and how happy all the residents were. The staff team were so supportive and worked tirelessly to make sure my mum's move to the care home was as smooth as possible in difficult circumstances. The home has beautiful facilities, spacious light rooms and a lovely garden. The staff are friendly, kind and treat the residents with compassion. There is also a fantastic programme of daily activities to keep residents active and stimulated. I would highly recommend Lincroft Meadow.

After visiting several care homes for my aunt who was in the middle stages of dementia, it was immediately obvious that Lincroft was way superior to any others - with the cafe downstairs, lovely garden, and fantastic staff. My aunt was very happy there, in a room with some of her own furniture and pictures around her. She improved during her stay which was just lovely for all of us, seeing her humour and memory return as she got more stimulation. The staff spent time talking with her and she was certainly very fond of them. When she got ill and had to be hospitalised with an infection antibiotics could not cure, Lincroft welcomed her back to see her through her last few days surrounded by their friendship and care. Being able to spend time with her there in the last few days and hours was so helpful to all of those who wanted her to be at peace in the end. We cannot thank Lincroft and all the staff enough for their sensitivity and care throughout the last months of her life.
