Due to age and poor mobility, my friend found it difficult to continue living in her own home so we visited Lincroft Meadow. The Client Services Manager gave us the tour and was very informative. The Manager visited my friend at home and was so reassuring that my friend agreed to a two-week trial. That was eight weeks ago and my friend is now a permanent resident and comfortable and a lot more settled. The home is clean and bright. All the staff are helpful, efficient and friendly. It is a pleasure to visit my friend and enjoy a coffee in the Bistro.

My mother has been a resident at Lincroft Meadow for the past three months, transitioning from a residential care home to nursing needs, and now end-of-life care. The professionalism of the team and the carers has been excellent, and the home itself is very well thought out and smoothly run. The carers have been exceptionally kind and sensitive, and have also supported my needs. During my mother's initial weeks, they made an effort to get to know her and there was no pressure for her to participate or socialise with others - it's approached very individually. I have felt happy knowing that my mother is in safe and caring hands.

Our mother sadly moved from nursing to palliative end-of-life care whilst in Lincroft Meadows. During the many hours spent with our mother in her last days, we witnessed the professionalism and dedication of the nursing and care staff. The whole team were kind and supportive of us as a family, and gave us both space and understanding but were also available to explain and advise, which was both helpful and reassuring.

Sadly, after a very short stay at Lincroft Meadows, our mother suffered a devastating stroke. She left the hospital for end-of-life care at Lincroft Meadows, where she was supported and cared for by the professional staff. As her daughters, we were made welcome at all times and allowed to stay with our mother and use the home's facilities. We were grateful for the warmth and concern shown to our mother and ourselves by all the staff at this difficult time.

So very pleased we chose Lincroft for my dad's respite care. From our initial enquiry, the response was prompt and efficient, supplying all relevant information. During his stay, all staff without exception were caring, compassionate and supportive not only of dad but to our family. If you are looking for a care home for a loved one look no further, Lincroft staff are second to none and very experienced in giving the best care and support.

I cannot praise everyone enough for all of their support, starting right from our initial planning to transfer my mom and welcoming her so warmly to Lincroft Meadow Care Home. It is so reassuring to see her settle so quickly. We recognise the effort that's made to get to know each person you support as an individual. It really makes a difference. And the standard of care is excellent; from attentive and good personal care, fabulous food, great housekeeping and access to varied and good quality activities. Communication with us as a family and the warm welcome we get when we visit is appreciated. We already feel like we're part of the Lincroft Meadow community.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Lincroft Meadow Care Home and the service they provide to their residents. My father, who has dementia, moved into the care home a month ago. Our recent experiences with another care home and with an obstructive local authority had left us with a very jaded view of the care system. Lincroft Meadow overturned that view. The staff are courteous and enthusiastic about the care they provide and always eager to find out about the people they care for and what more they can do for them. The home itself is spacious and well-maintained, as are the gardens. It is also a safe environment for the residents.

I think they go all out to help people in their care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other people. The place is clean and tidy and the gardens are lovely to sit in and walk around. All the staff are caring and helpful in the rooms and office. The activities staff give a variety of things to do for their residents.

My mother needed nursing care for the last few weeks of her life and following a friend's recommendation we chose Lincroft Meadow. Mum felt very safe and secure at Lincroft. She was very impressed with the level of care and how lovely the care staff were. She was amazed at how quickly they responded to her call button and delighted to discover it wasn't just for emergencies and the staff encouraged her to use it for things like wanting a coffee or help accessing a puzzle book or pen if it was out of reach (she was too weak to walk and was bedridden in her last few weeks). She thought the food was excellent and it was lovely to see her appetite return on her admission.

There were some inconsistencies in the covid visiting restrictions/requirements being applied by differing receptionists but these were usually resolved by a quick word with the management, and to be fair the rules were changing quite often at the time.

I've been very impressed by Lincroft Meadow from the outset. It stood out from other care homes at the enquiries stage and two months since mum moved in it continues to impress. The home is beautifully furnished, the staff are friendly, kind, and upbeat and there is a good programme of activities for residents to enjoy. Mum has settled in well and is now thriving rather than just surviving!

Mum needed a period of respite as her care needs had increased after a heavy cold. We received a prompt response and good advice from the outstanding Client Service Manager and our immediate concerns were swiftly dealt with. Throughout her stay, we were delighted with the attitude of the staff who helped to make her welcome and 'at home'; the food was varied and well planned, and we loved being able to walk around, go down to the garden and visit whenever we wanted. The impossible task of replicating her own home and the continuous 'one to one' care she received there was offset by our experience of a friendly, happy and comfortable care home. It was both a holiday for us and her. Many thanks.

I can only say that I am very grateful indeed for all the kindness, patience and care given to my wife over the last few months of her final illness, often under what must often have been difficult conditions. I did not see much of the catering and activities at first hand but I am confident that they would have been up to the high standards of the other aspects.

My mother has been in the care of Lincroft Meadows for just over four months now. The transition from her home to the care home which is a difficult time was made so easy with the help of the admin and nursing staff there.

Mum is really enjoying being a resident at Lincroft, she had a lovely Christmas and 90th birthday celebration and was made a big fuss of. I cannot praise the carers and nursing staff enough and neither can mum. She is very well taken care of and valued. Thank you to everyone.
