My mother settled much more quickly than I had anticipated when she reluctantly came to Lincroft in November 2021.
I live some distance away and when unable to visit, staff have kept me up to date and have asked for, and listened to, my views. Her health has deteriorated quite rapidly and staff have responded in a caring and professional manner. A specialist bed was provided and adaptations have been made as her needs have changed. The nursing staff liaise with the local GP and have arranged for me to meet with the GP when I have requested this.
Covid compliance and health and safety are taken seriously without being oppressive.
All staff - reception, care, housekeeping, nursing and management are friendly and welcoming and staff make themselves available to speak to me when I have queries or concerns.

I expected my mother to tolerate being in a care home at best. However, she often comments on how kind everyone is and I believe she feels safe and secure.

My husband became a resident in Lincroft Meadow on his discharge from hospital. He was extremely ill when he arrived and unfortunately died after only 4 days. The home was the silver lining to a very grim period. I am sure he received the very best care and was made as comfortable as he could possibly have been. The staff were cheerful, efficient and above all caring. I am not sure how much my husband was aware of but I am sure that I could not have got through this dark period of my life so well without knowing he was in the best possible surroundings receiving the best possible care.

My dad was a resident at Lincroft Meadow for eighteen months until his passing. The first year gave him a fantastic boost as he had the companionship and stimulation he had missed during Covid - he loved going to the cinema and joining in with all the activities. His last few months of deteriorating health were sad and challenging but a silver lining was knowing he was being so well looked after. The staff went above and beyond to make sure he was safe and was treated with dignity. Their communication with the family was excellent. In the final days they were all incredibly flexible and respectful which meant we all - and the dog - could say our goodbyes. We are deeply thankful that the staff were able to make so many adjustments and take on so much additional caring to enable Dad to stay at Lincroft until the end of his life.

The resident for whom I had powers of attorney spent the last four months of her life at Lincroft Meadow, so this assessment relates only to that short time and to the limited use which she was able to make of facilities at the care home.
Both I and other members of her support group were impressed by the attractive, spacious, well-planned layout and rooms at Lincroft Meadow, the calm and welcoming atmosphere, the helpful attitude of the management, and the high standard of committed, professional nursing care which our friend received.

The charges at this care home are relatively high, but we thought that they were justified by the service and that our friend got value for money.

Really lovely home, with kind and caring staff, residents are treated with respect and kindness. Nothing is too much trouble for residents, they have a fantastic Christmas program planned with a great activity team. There is a whole home approach to all care within the home. The home is very special and will always hold a special place in my heart. Would throughly recommend.

Since my mother moved into Lincroft in May, initially for respite care, she has been looked after with care and attention. The initial period was hard for her as she had to reconcile her move from independent living but the care, patience and attention shown by the team was exemplary. She is now settled and thriving - and has developed a liking for the in-house gym!

Lincroft Meadow has provided my dad with a happy and settled home. As a family, we are so reassured he is in a safe, secure and happy environment. Lincroft Meadow is a very special place and we have witnessed many amazing acts of kindness to my dad and other residents by caring professional staff. Throughout the pandemic the manager has kept the family informed of the steps they are undertaking to provide a Covid safe environment while still accommodating communication between residents and their family and providing visits in a safe environment. The team at Lincroft provide a full timetable of activities that dad enjoys. Residents well-being really seems to be the focus at Lincroft. The manager keeps us well informed on what is happening at Lincroft and recently we were invited to attend a meeting to discuss what would be happening at Lincroft in the next few months. Lincroft is a very special place. Thank you.

Lincroft have been excellent in all areas through my mum's transistor into residential care. The weekly activities and leisure programme is amazing, offering a diverse range of activities to stimulate the residents.

Due to her frailty on admission, my mother was only at Lincroft for a relatively short period of time but from my first contact to arrange her admission and throughout her stay, I was so impressed with both the efficiency yet total helpfulness of the administration and the obvious attention and concern that the carer staff displayed in their dealings with both my mother and myself. I would recommend Lincroft Meadow to anyone.

My father has been a resident at Lincroft Meadow for just over a year. I can not praise all of the staff enough, their support and care is the very best. They have taken the time to get to know my father and our family, we are always greeted by our first names usually followed by a memory which my father has told them about us - a very personal touch. The activities provided are stimulating and the gardens have greatly helped my father adjust to his new surroundings.

Everyone at the home has been so kind and helpful to us since both my mother and sister became residents there last year. Recently they helped the family celebrate my mother's 100th Birthday and worked hard to make it a memorable day for all of us. They have all helped to make a difficult time so much easier for us.
