My mother went to Lincroft Meadow for respite in July. The client services manager went above and beyond anything which we could have expected, in order to organise arrangements within the narrow time frame that we had before my mother was discharged from hospital. She has been a constant source of reassurance and support not only my mother but also for the family. My first impressions of a well-managed, and committed team who put people first, and for whom nothing is too much trouble, continue to be displayed on a daily basis. My mother chose to stay on at Lincroft Meadow and constantly tells me how happy she is that she made that decision. She is supported with kindness and compassion by every member of the team, whatever their role. They all have made huge efforts to get to know her, and they provide unwavering support. They have enabled her to live as independently as possible and have helped to rebuild her confidence. It really is an outstanding place.

Dad moved into Lincroft Meadow during lockdown which was not easy for us as a family. Trying to find a suitable home for him when unable to visit was a challenge but this was made so much easier by the client services manager and her team. I was shown as much of the home as was possible in the circumstances and the manager fully explained to me everything I needed to know. The care and professionalism that came across made it an easy decision for us to make.

Dad has settled well into his new home and the whole family are impressed with the care he is receiving. The staff do all they can to look after him and to keep us informed during these unusual times. They are also always extremely friendly to us when we come to visit which has made this much easier for our Mum. We are very grateful for the care they are showing to Dad when we cannot be with him.

Lincroft Meadow Care Home has been a wonderful residence for our parents. We were so fortunate to have found such a caring, happy, and safe place for them. After our mother's stroke, Mum and Dad needed different levels of care but Lincroft Meadow was very flexible and created the perfect solution. They were able to move in together and have adjoining rooms, one of which served as a bedroom and one as a lounge. Our mother received excellent full-time care while Dad was able to join in with activities and receive the level of care that he needed as well. The decor and surroundings of the home are beautiful; it is more like a five-star hotel than a typical care home. The bistro and garden provided joyful hours. The activities were many and varied. But the most impressive aspect to Lincroft Meadow Care Home is the staff. Our parents received very professional, attentive, and medically excellent care, provided in a very caring and positive manner. We are truly grateful to everyone there!

Lincroft Meadow opened at exactly the right time to be able to provide care for both parents; my mother who needed dementia care and my father who needed a rest from caring for her and keeping a house going.
Staff are wonderful - patient, kind, tolerant and respectful. They cared for my mother in her last days, and provided a safe, encouraging and activity-packed environment for my father, allowing him to indulge in his love of gardening, poetry and watching films.
Many of the staff have been there from the start, were deeply saddened on his death from Covid-19 and have provided me with support. They always had time for him, he loved having independence while having everything provided, and he made many new friends there.

I just hope they are still there when I need care.

I would recommend Lincroft Meadow wholeheartedly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It is well run and employs enough staff for them to be able to spend time with and care properly for the residents. The decor and surroundings are very attractive, the food is good and there is an excellent range of activities on offer. My father lived there for the last few weeks of his life and was treated with kindness and compassion. His needs were met sensitively and I had peace of mind, knowing he was being looked after by staff who cared.

We have been really pleased with the care my mother-in-law has received since she moved into Lincroft earlier in the Spring. She has enjoyed a range of activities and been made to feel very welcome in her new home. During the current difficult time we are happy in the knowledge that she is content and being well-cared for. The staff have been helpful, particularly when we had difficulties communicating through Skype - their help with the computer has enabled the family to maintain visual contact. Thank you.

The staff at Lincroft have been wonderful to Mum since she became a resident about 17months ago and are still being wonderful under the very difficult circumstances with the threat of Covid-19.
Although we are not allowed to visit at this time, when we phone or video call they are very understanding and nothing is too much trouble, despite being extra busy I’m sure.

It is a real community and the staff genuinely care for the residents and offer and encourage a wealth of activities and stimulation to all residents.

I am so glad that my mum is a resident at Lincroft, especially now during the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff are so kind and caring and have made a huge effort to make sure that we can at least talk to Mum as often as possible.
Mum has been a resident for about 18 months now and the staff have supported both us, her family and her, through some very difficult times regarding her health.
They make so much effort to include everyone in the lovely range of activities that they offer, the food is amazing and the home is so clean and welcoming.

Can't praise them enough.

Since my mother has been at the care home they have treated Mum with both respect and dignity. The activities team were warm and welcoming to Mum, and I was pleased that Mum has joined in with most of the events the team has to offer. I like the way the home keeps the family of the resident, informed of the welfare of the resident as well as with all aspects of the Home. My mum has settled in well to the home, and I am more than pleased with the care that she is receiving.

My sister has been a very happy resident for several months, I saw her after the first six weeks of her stay, and was amazed how healthy and talkative she was (compared with when she went in; she had become very introverted/quiet due to spending a great deal of time on her own). I think my ratings show a true picture of all the outstanding facets of the home, management and staff.
I was particularly surprised last week when receiving a phone call from a member of staff who arranged a call for me to speak to my sister; much appreciated by both of us, (especially as I live on my own).

Keep healthy and keep safe.

The home is friendly, professional and caring. They have put our family at ease whenever we need to talk ore discuss any issue they have, bending over backwards to help. If I could sum up how they make us feel it would be professional, caring and respectful.

I would recommend this home to my friends. Thank you!

As a family, we have been extremely pleased with the care given to our family member. After a few very unsettled months, coming into Lincroft has been the best thing for my father-in-law. The staff, from managers to carers, have been amazing. We are constantly praising Lincroft as we believe they provide the best care he's received to date.
