After looking at other care homes locally my sister and I chose Lincroft because the staff were all so friendly and welcoming, everyone smiled and/or said hello. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, It was also spotlessly clean. We could not be happier with her care.
Thank you for your kind words and for choosing our home. We are pleased to hear that you found our staff friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. We appreciate your feedback.
They are very kind and offer help to Me with anything. The food here is very good and there is always extra if I want it. My room is well equipped and I have my own shower. The cleaner comes in every day. I enjoy the activities.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is an honour and a pleasure to have you with us at Lincroft Meadow.
The staff are open, honest and react to every request regardless of the size.
The family atmosphere within the home makes it a joy to visit. We often join activities as a family and have made many friends within the Lincroft community.
A huge turning point in Mums transition has been the 1-1 trips out with the activities team. I never believed my Mum would be telling me she had been to a coffee shop in Banbury for the first time at 92. Just one of several trips this year.
I cannot find enough words to convey my thanks.
It is wonderful to hear such inspiring and positive feedback - thank you. I am thrilled we are able to provide your mum with these experiences.
Further to my previous review, I am writing to say how beautifully cared for my mother was in her last days. The staff were without exception kind, gentle and helpful to her and to me, and made the final few weeks far less stressful than they might have been. I would recommend Lincroft Meadow unhesitatingly.
Thank you for taking a moment to leave us such a kind review during this difficult time. It was an honour to care for your mother, and we miss her dearly. Please know that you are always welcome at Lincroft Meadow.
I am aged 89 and have been a resident for 2 1/2 years. I am partly disabled and have found the facilities and staff faculties in every way it is a very happy home, and most comfortable also secure, there lots of activities of which the staff always show and interact. I would find it difficult to find a way of improvement how can you improve on the best? The management are very approachable and very kind. I must say I have landed on my feet, and am very happy.
Thank you for your heartwarming feedback. It is a joy to have you with us, and it fills me with pride to hear you are so happy with our home.
Very happy with care and everything at Lincroft Meadow. I am sure I could not find a better care home.
Thank you for your feedback. It is an honour and a pleasure to have you with us at Lincroft Meadow.
My father was a resident in Lincroft for 3 years. The level of care was appalling. He was admitted to hospital quite a few times, all as a result of dehydration. Terrible level of service especially given he was paying about £2,500 per week!! Shocking!!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. This is not the standard that we strive to provide and we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your concerns in more detail. Please do not hesitate to get in touch.
From the very first day, they made her feel welcome and part of the home.
Every member of staff were brilliant-always caring, compassionate and respectful.
It gave our family great comfort knowing she was safe, well looked after, and genuinely loved and cared for by everyone there.
The activities team were fantastic. There was always something going on, and they constantly encouraged mum to join in and stay involved. It made a positive difference to her time there.
Thank you to all the staff for the compassion and dedication you showed to my mother. It will always be remembered and appreciated by our family.
We are so sorry for your loss and our thoughts are with you and your family at what we can only imagine is a very difficult time. It was our genuine pleasure to care for your mother and I look forward to sharing your kind words with our team.
A couple of glitches along the way, which have been attended to promptly.
I would recommend arranging a visit and see for yourselves.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a thoughtful review of Lincroft Meadow. We greatly appreciate your kind words and are glad to hear you felt that your concerns were addressed appropriately.
The staff are all kind, helpful and polite. Nothing is too much for them to help. There is a happy and relaxed atmosphere on mum's unit, which only changes when needs must. Mum has a choice at each meal and is well fed. The food is lovely I've arranged a private lunch with mum so have sampled it many times. Mum is very happy which makes me very happy.
Thank you for leaving such a kind review of Lincroft Meadow. We are delighted to hear that you and your Mum are happy with us. Caring for your Mum is truly an honour.
My mother has been here for 11 months, I am very glad we chose Lincroft. The staff are always helpful, the facilities are excellent and my mother is happy. What more could I add!

Lovely place, lovely team. Mother-in-law felt welcome right from the start. It's been a perfect home from home.
It is a pleasure to have your mother-in-law with us, and I am pleased to hear she felt welcome from day one.
Amazing home. Very caring and supportive staff. They treat all residents as individuals and are very respectful. Always willing to listen and respond to any concerns.
Thank you for taking a moment to leave us a review. It is fantastic to hear you feel our team are supportive and caring.
Lincroft Meadows has been excellent in all respects with the care of my mother. In particualr Suzie, the manager, is incredible in all respects. Mum said that the remainder of the staff are also good. Lincroft Meadow is a diamond!
Thank you for your kind words. It fills me with pride to hear you are happy with all aspects of our home.
There were one or two small issues which were swiftly dealt with. There were 4 nurses whose care was outstanding and we were always pleased when they were on duty and the management team were compassionate and kind. Overall, were more than satisfied with the room and care we both received and my husband died in peace.
Thank you for taking a moment to leave us a review during this difficult time. It was an honour to care for your husband. Please know you are always welcome at Lincroft Meadow.
Mum and, indeed, all of us, were made extremely welcome from the first day. They made her so comfortable and all the other residents were really friends.
The Bistro area / coffee shop is an amazing place for mingling and joining in conversations and seeing a lot of new faces everyday. Other visitors, young and old and even pets all join in together to chat.
The daily activities are incredibly varied - I have never known Mum do art in her life but she threw herself into whatever was on offer. She looked forward to the cinema afternoons as well.
From the minute you step through the door to visit all sthe staff are friendly and welcoming and this feeling carries through every day.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a kind and thoughtful review of Lincroft Meadow. Your feedback is truly valued, and we are so pleased to hear that your Mum has felt welcome and well cared for here with us. You are always welcome at Lincroft Meadow.
My mother was a resident for 2.5 years and from day 1 she felt loved by everybody. Sadly passed away in the first week of October. Thank you all for being so kind, patient and understanding to a grand old lady of 102 years. She didn't mix with many people due to her ongoing dementia but formed a close bond with a few of the carers and other staff. Mum didnt join in many of the activities, probably due to her illness and deafness, but she was happy to the very end for which we are truly grateful.
Thank you for your heartfelt words. It warms our hearts to hear that your mother felt loved and formed special bonds with our staff during her time here. It was an honour to care for your mother. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Please know you are always welcome here at Lincroft Meadow.
Back in May staff at Lincroft held a secondary wedding ceremony (after a registry office wedding) they really made the day very special for my Mum (who can not leave the home) and myself and my Husband and laid on an afternoon reception- they really went beyond expectations.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a kind review of Lincroft Meadow. It is an honour to care for your mum, and we are so pleased to hear that your family enjoyed her afternoon tea on her birthday.
Our mum was a resident at Lincroft Meadow for almost 4 years. Throughout her stay, she was met with kindness, care and respect. Her ability to join in with activities was limited but she enjoyed the musical ones and the church services in particular. Taking the decision to move Mum from her home to Lincroft was extremely difficult but we do not think she could have been in a better place as the impact of Alzheimers and her nursing needs were understood and met. As relatives, we were always welcome and kept up to date with any changes in her care and routines. The staff were friendly and professional and we appreciated the consistency in the management and nursing teams. Prior to her death Mum was treated with compassion and dignity and we are so grateful for the support and understanding that we received. We will miss our visits there.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a kind review. It was an honour to have your mother stay with us, and we cherished the time we got to spend with her. Please know you are always welcome at Lincroft Meadow.

Meet the Team (6)

Hello, my name is Elaine Ratcliffe, and I am the Home Manager here at Lincroft Meadow.
I joined the Lincroft Meadow team when our home was still a building site, so I have truly been here since the beginning! It was wonderful to see our home develop, but the most special moment for us was when we opened our doors and welcomed our very first residents.
I have worked in the care sector for 17 years, starting as a care assistant and working my way up to management roles. I am passionate about caring for our senior community, and I'm proud that my team share the same values.
My door is always open, so do pop in and see us whenever you'd like!

Hello, my name is Sheryl Despi, and I am the Deputy Manager here at Lincroft Meadow.
I work alongside Elaine, the Home Manager, to ensure that the quality of care delivered in our home is nothing short of excellent. I am a registered nurse by profession and have worked in the UK for more than 15 years. Like every member of our team, I am passionate about providing the best possible care for our residents.

Hello, my name is Emma, and I am the Non-Clinical Deputy Manager here at Lincroft Meadow.
I have been working in care since 2009, and I started my care career working in extra care and domiciliary care, providing care to people in their own homes. I have been a supervisor in an extra care setting for two years. In 2015, I moved to working in a care home and became a team leader. I have experience in dementia, nursing, intermediate and residential care.
I am passionate about working in care, and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to make a difference in our residents' lives every day.

Hello, my name is Suzi Morgan, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Lincroft Meadow.
Having worked in the care industry in a variety of roles for over sixteen years, I joined the team at Lincroft Meadow four years ago and can honestly say it is the nicest home I have ever worked in. There is a genuine team spirit here at Lincroft Meadow that makes it a pleasure to come to work every day.
My role as client services manager involves supporting people through the process of choosing a care home, and I find it incredibly rewarding to be able to provide guidance, reassurance and compassion at what is often a difficult time for individuals and their loved ones. I love the opportunity to be able to help every step of the way, from touring our home and moving to take advantage of everything we have to offer our residents.
Please do not hesitate to book a visit if you are considering a move either sometime soon or in the future – a warm welcome awaits you!

Hello, my name is Charlotte Hewett, and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Lincroft Meadow.
Having studied Sport and Exercise Sciences for Health, I have developed an understanding and appreciation of the value of meaningful activities on an individual’s physical and mental wellbeing. Since working at Lincroft Meadow, it has been a delight to see our residents engage in the different activities we organise and the positive impact this has on their lives.
My team and I are passionate about offering a wide range of activities that cover a variety of interests, helping our residents improve their physical, social, and mental well-being. As a team, we strive to provide person-centred activities for all of our residents.

Hello, my name is Kerry, and I am the Home Trainer here at Lincroft Meadow.
I have over 15 years of experience in health and social care, from being a private carer to working in domiciliary care, and for the last nine years, I have worked in care homes. I joined Lincroft Meadow as a Health Care Assistant in 2020 and have been a Home Trainer since 2022.
I aim to ensure our team have the training and support necessary to provide our residents with top-quality care. In my role, I promote person-centred care and always speak to our residents for feedback. I love working with our team in the home, and not only sharing my knowledge and experience but learning from them too. I believe that small changes matter and can benefit an individual in all areas of their life.
I have a variety of qualifications, including a Level 3 Award in Education and Training, a Level 2 in Health and Social Care and a Level 4 Advanced Moving and Handling Trainer. Since August 2025, I have been undertaking my Level 4 Learning and Skills Mentor qualification.
