In recent months, my mother, who has dementia, has become increasingly difficult and uncooperative. Staff have shown patience and understanding and continue to provide an excellent standard of care. Staff are aware of her needs and will do what they can to involve her and assist her in making choices/decisions. The environment is welcoming and homely.
I can't believe how happy my dad has been since moving to Lakeview Lodge. Their standard of care and patience with Dad is way above and beyond what was expected. Dad is way more relaxed, and his bedsores have repaired, which we thought would never happen. Their attention to his needs are spot-on.
The only thing I would like to see or know whats happening is that activities were happening on my mum's floor, the 2nd floor, because photos on social media always show the downstairs lounge.
Lakeview Lodge is a good care home overall, in my opinion. The cost of care is very fair, considering what needs to be done for my Mother. A number of personal items have disappeared during her course of stay though. Communication from the care staff regarding health issues that do occur is extremely good.
My mother has been a resident for over two years. We have been delighted with the care she has received. Overall environment is excellent, staff and management at all levels have been excellent too, from reception, housekeeping and catering, care teams and management.

We are pleased to know that our staff team continually provide high-quality care for your mother and that all the different staff members who make our care home what it is from receptionist to catering have been excellent.

My mum has been a resident for nearly two years. We could not have wished for a better home for her to be. The staff are very helpful and kind. There is always something for the residents to take part in. The cakes that every resident gets for their birthday are unbelievable.
Thank you for leaving your review for Lakeview Lodge Care Home. It is a pleasure to care for your mum and include her in the Lakeview Lodge family. Your kind words will be shared with the staff.
Staff always are quick to help in any situation and always there to speak to if I have any concerns to do with my family member.

I visit once a month with my canine concern dog 'Gunner'. The staff are always warm and welcoming. We wander, accompanied around the different areas and floors saying hello to the residents, who mainly are happy to see us. The whole place is clean, cheerful and friendly. The residents look very well cared for and happy. There always seems to be something happening for everyone. There's a lovely homely atmosphere about Lakeview.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Lakeview Lodge Care Home. We enjoy Gunner's visits to the home! See you soon!

My review relates to all the staff that were involved in the dog show. It was very well prepared and maintained during the show. My mum does not come out of her room very much. I was allowed to be with her and she enjoyed it, the staff were very attentive. Thank you to all involved - mums sight is not very good and some staff members brought some of the dogs over to her which was very kind.

My mother has been a resident for 13 months. She moved in with my father who sadly passed just a week later. The last year has been so difficult but the staff at Lakeview Lodge Care Home have gone above and beyond with their work and kindness. Jubilee week was exceptional with so much to involve residents and their families. Hats off to a splendid team.

Lakeview has provided a good level of care through very difficult times. the staff, rooms, and food are superb, and overall my mum is well looked after (as expected for the price paid) My mum's care needs are very limited and updates on her care plans are not forthcoming - she needs consideration on an individual basis.

We are very pleased that you are happy with our care for your mother, we have noted your concern regarding the updating of her care plan. Please do come and discuss this with me next time you visit and I’ll be more than happy to talk this through with you.
Her clothes went missing and other items, she ended up with other clothes.
The experience of two weeks of respite made her worse and more confused. She had a fall and we were told it happened that day, last night and three days ago. Not happy.

Lakeview Lodge is a wonderful caring home; it is clean and well run. My mother always looked clean and tidy, but most importantly, she appears content and happy. The receptionist is a wonderful but kind lady that always has a smile and always tries to help. They say first impressions are most important... well, this lady makes you feel comfortable the minute you enter the home until you leave.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Lakeview Lodge Care Home, we are pleased that your mother is happy here with us and I will pass your kind words on to our staff team.
