I am very happy with the are that is provided by my mother. She has settled in very well and seems very content. The staff are always polite, pleasant and overall there is a lovely, relaxed atmosphere with lots of interaction between staff and residents. This is lovely to witness.

Our mother has been at Oak Manor for 6 months and is very happy. The staff are extremely caring and well trained to manage dementia. There are many activities arranged by the staff as well as external specialists who come in. The garden is lovely and the residents enjoyed it a lot in the summer.
Still
a relatively new home, the management team are always looking to develop the home and activities and are available to discuss anything with relatives. Unlike a previous care home, there are no stations which staff sit behind - staff are always with residents and if they have paperwork etc they do it in the lounge. They’re engaging and caring. Nothing phases them. Would recommend this home.

All of our staff have a comprehensive induction period which enables them to effectively work with our residents. I was glad to see your Mother enjoying the garden in the summer and next year there will be even more outside to enjoy. We absolutely are always looking to develop the home and I would urge anybody to speak to either myself or the Deputy Manager if you have any suggestions. We also have a suggestion box in the main foyer. We recognise that engagement is very important for older people, particularly those who are living with dementia and it is important that the carers stay with the residents as often as they can, which does include paperwork, instead of shutting themselves away. My overwhelming experience since Mum started at Oak Manor has been one of care, compassion and a sense of fun.
The staff all seem to have a strong sense of purpose, they are all friendly, approachable and nothing is too much trouble.
Mum has thrived since she has been at Oak Manor.
It is a credit
to all the staff that she settled in quickly and now considers Oak Manor her home.

My mother moved into Oak Manor in July of this year, and I have been more than happy with all aspects of Mum's care.
The carers and the managers are very friendly and approachable and have been very supportive to me at such a difficult time.

All the staff and carers are friendly and helpful. The rooms, bathrooms and other facilities are spotlessly clean. When moving in we were given all the information and help needed to make it as stress-free as possible.

We live approx 110 miles away but visit once a month so we needed a good reliable care home and are lucky our friend is in this one. Our friend is so well looked after he looks better and younger than he did five years ago.

My Dad went into Oak Manor in May 2018.
When we first went and had a look we were impressed by how beautiful it was and we were made to feel so welcome.


Oak Manor has exceeded our expectations, the care and love has come from every member of staff, nothing is too much trouble. It is such relief

I have been a volunteer at Oak Manor for nearly a year now, I visit with my dog once a week and also join in with craft activities. I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of staff, they all seem very caring and hard working. The building itself is very well maintained and the resident's
rooms are always clean, tidy and have the feeling of individuality. I have watched friendships develop and there is always a warm welcome from both staff and residents.

Mum has been at the home for about 6 months. She seems to be very happy, she has dementia and so not completely aware. The care she receives is excellent. The carers are superb, very attentive and considerate. The surroundings are very comfortable. She has a lovely room with a door to the outside.

is a pleasure to visit her there as it is such a happy place.

All the carers are always cheerful, friendly and professional. Mum is supported in exactly the way she wishes. She is encouraged to try activities she thought she would not be able to do due to visual impairments.
Mum has flourished due to all the TLC in Oak Manor. Her confidence and enjoyment for
life have returned.

Dad settled in immediately. Very friendly, caring environment. I was nervous at first as dad lived in a different county, I didn’t need to worry. Dad loves his room, the staff are very caring and friendly. I am always made welcome when I visit, which is most days.

have visited a couple of times, they enjoy having coffee and biscuits on their visit.

My dad has dementia and after caring for my mum found it hard to rely on others. When he chose to go to a care home I felt I had let him down but his friends have said how well he is and how this was the best thing I could have done for him. He still finds it hard to understand where he is sometimes
but he always feels safe and happy at Oak Manor. The staff all know his name which helps him feel at home from home. I cannot thank staff enough for what they do and how they have helped us both.
