Overwhelmed with the support with trying to find my mother a home. I would ritually say that the management team and staff have put our concerns to rest, a wonderful care home.
Go see for yourselves if you're considering this for your loved one.
A massive undertaking for the person you love deeply and want the best for them, as you would want for yourselves.
Beautiful inside and the gardens. Great facilities, a pub! and activity roo, a cinema room - amazing.

Nothing is too much trouble.

Overall Experience
Pear Tree Court is a new state of the art care home. Everything is finished to a very high standard and is designed to provide a luxurious and stimulating home for the residents.

To add to this all of the staff are so friendly, caring and appear to genuinely enjoy their jobs. These qualities are continually shown not only to the residents but also their family and friends. Thus ensuring all parties are happy and relaxed during what can be a very stressful time when a loved one first goes into care.

Meet the Team (1)

Aimee Sparks
Aimee SparksJob Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2023

I’m a qualified Registered General Nurse with 15 years of experience in both NHS hospitals and private care nursing homes. I was keen to join Pear Tree Court because of Care UK’s very good reputation and the development opportunities that are available. I was looking for a service to manage on a long-term basis.

Previously, I was an Interim General Manager and Clinical Quality Assurance Manager for a provider that supports residents with complex care needs. I also have experience working as a turnaround manager, where I supported a nursing home to move from ‘Inadequate’ to ‘Good’ in six months by building an entirely new team. I have a passion for nurturing colleagues, and it makes me proud to see my team shine.

As a Home Manager, I believe it’s important to have a fair but firm approach, a willingness to listen and a supportive and reassuring management style. You need to have an open door for colleagues and compassion for residents. Supporting my team to ensure excellent care is provided to keep residents and their loved ones safe and happy is the most important part of my role.

My favourite part of being a Home Manager is caring for residents on a long-term basis. This means I have the opportunity to really get to know them and their families and understand how to support them to live fulfilling lives.

When I’m not working, I enjoy taking trips with my family, showing my two daughters different cultures and areas of the world.
