Lauder Lodge

I immediately felt happy Lauder Lodge could provide the best care for my mother. The staff without exception are wonderfully cheerful and positive,but also kind and compassionate towards both my mother and myself. They have helped immeasurably in calming her down, including even helping with navigating my visits with her dogs which must be inconvenient when they are so busy. Chelsea has even taken her for walks with her dog Louis. I am always greeted by smiling happy faces from front of reception extending upstairs including housekeeping , and catering staff.Jackie and May are so kind keeping me up to date with any concerns and best ways to manage her care.She has a packed activity schedule and even an in house hairdresser and optician. I am so impressed at the unwavering patience of all the staff in dealing with residents with so many different needs . And finally my mother herself has nothing but praise for everyone here. It feels like a five star hotel,not a care home.

Considering I have had several old relatives require being in a care home, I have absolutely no doubt , Lauder Lodge care is one of the best experiences of care my dad is likely to receive . The staff are so friendly, dad almost immediately lost all interest in going home, I feel proud of finding such a great place , his friends appreciate it and are impressed.

Moving into a care home is a significant life change for both resident and family members. It is a stressful transition both emotionally and due to the administration to work through . The staff at LL made the whole process easy and guided me through paperwork, admission, visits etc with warmth, knowledge and understanding. My family were involved and we were all delighted with how welcoming and caring LL feels.

A big thank you as well to Jackie for all their help and support. It's a genuinely lovely place to visit and Benji and I always look forward to coming back.

My dad has been a resident at Lauder Lodge for a year now and I have been really impressed with the level of care and support he receives. The staff are really fantastic and are always on hand to help!

Our relative Betty has been in Lauder Lodge for 8 years! She was one of the first residents in the new build them. She has dementia and we are amazing and very grateful for the many years of care she has had from all the dedicated staff there. She has lived an exceptionally long time with this condition due to that care and attention. We and the family (many are abroad) are immensely thankful for her wonderful care at Lauder Lodge. My mother who has lived at Lauder Lodge for eight years is now in bed with dementia. She very much enjoyed the care home when she was up and about. Now when we visit she looks well and comfortable. The staff are very caring and attentive to her, noticing her reactions and changing things to suit her, to make sure she is as contented as can be expected. She still has sensory activities several times a week which she enjoys.

My auntie loves Lauder Lodge and thoroughly enjoys her time there. You can see from their social media pages that all the residents are happy and engaged. I searched many care homes before choosing this one and I'm so glad I made the decision! Thanks everyone!

Mum has been a resident at Lauder Lodge for almost 2 years. In that time she has been treated with the utmost respect and care and mum would consider her carers as friends. The care home is maintained to a high standard with lovely adjoining gardens where activities are regularly arranged. mum is encouraged to keep mobile by taking part in keep fit sessions and to socialise with other residents in the various activities that take place. Staff exude an atmosphere of calmness and nothing is ever to much trouble.

My Mum has been a resident at Lauder Lodge for over 12 months and we have experienced illnesses and increasing frailties. Throughout I have found Lauder Lodge facilities, care, food, activities, management and staff to be excellent. I want to thank Staff for their care, empathy and support.

I have seen a lot of care homes over the years assessing appropriate care for friends and feel this is the best i have seen. this entails on entering the home the atmosphere is pleasent, warm and nicely decorated which means a lot. on entering the scent in the home is pleasant. the receptionist have all been very helpful and making people relax and when show rounds are done they make you feel welcome. the cafe on the 2 flooor is always made available to friends ad family with great choice of food and drinks.

Great home to be in. Everyone is wonderful.

My friend has been a resident for many years now, the staff are so considerate towards his needs, who ch are many due to his condition, but they treat him with respect on a daily basis. He always knew he wanted to stay here and he loves everything about it.

I cannot speak highly enough of this care home. From the very first visit to then bringing my grandma, it was clear that the staff genuinely care about the residents and go above and beyond to create a safe, welcoming, and homely environment. The team are not only highly professional but also incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. It's reassuring to see such genuine compassion in everything they do especially for my grandma. There are plenty of activities and social opportunities for everyone and my gran absolutely loves it. The communication is excellent, and nothing ever seems like too much trouble for the staff. Choosing a care home is never easy, but this place has been an absolute blessing for me, my family & definitely for my grandma Knowing our loved one is safe, comfortable.

On a personal level I feel confident and happy my mum is receiving the level of care she needs. I am contacted immediately if there are any concerns, or to ask my opinion on issues.

I visit 6 of our Religious Sisters and have Power of Attorney for four of them. They are all very happy with the care they receive annd I find all the staff very friendly although I am not a resident.

It was her Birthday last week and thanks to the amazing staff her day was made extra special. Huge thanks to the staff who went over and above for Mum.

We find all of the Staff at Lauder Lodge very accommodating and helpful. All the facilities are great and you can always find a member of Staff when needed. Nothing is ever a bother. Lovely cafe upstairs where you can enjoy a nice coffee in a relaxed environment.
