Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

Please note, the weekly fee does not include hairdressing, chiropody or other healthcare visits or
appointments not covered by the NHS, toiletries, newspapers or magazines, any over the counter
medications that a GP wouldn’t normally prescribe such as paracetamol and indigestion relief, and any
other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.
These prices are only a guideline, please contact Lauder Lodge to find out the exact price for your requirements.
If you choose a care home based in Scotland, you may be eligible for the Scottish Government's Free Personal Care funding of up to £248.70 per week (if you are over the age of 65) and Free Nursing Care funding of up to £111.90 per week. This support is is not reflected in this fee amount.

The facilities are wonderful in terms of the activity rooms, standard of the bedrooms and outside areas - gardens and balconies. It is also
My experience of all staff - management, care and domestic staff - has been entirely positive. They are warm, caring individuals who always show an interest in the residents' welfare, but also show a genuine interest in visitors queries.
I am very impressed with the range of activities on offer to residents, particularly as my Mum has dementia and these events help to keep her stimulated.
Thank you to everyone in a special team of people working at Lauder Lodge.

Job Title: Home Manager
I’m a qualified nurse and have worked in a children’s clinic as well as in older people’s care. Joining Lauder Lodge has been very exciting for me: commissioning a new home is a challenge, and the whole team has worked closely together to create a wonderful home from home.
I’ve enjoyed getting to know the team in the process, identifying their strengths and using them to everyone’s advantage. I’m enjoying watching the team grow while providing exceptional service and tailored care for every resident.
I’m infamous for my sweet tooth, so I particularly enjoy afternoon tea time, when I can spend time with the residents, sharing stories and memories over a cup of tea and, of course, freshly baked goodies!
Outside of work, shopping is a guilty pleasure of mine, followed by coffee dates with friends – usually just an excuse to get the biggest cake on display!
