The activities manager and the girls are great, cannot fault them. We are kept in regular contact, particularly in these difficult times.
Photos of Mum are sent, FaceTime and visits are all arranged very efficiently.

Very happy for my mother.

My husband who has Lewy Body Dementia with aspects of Parkinson's Disease could be difficult to handle on occasion. He was well looked after, both his medical and personal needs met by professional caring staff.

Had a visit to see Mom on 3/8/21, as always; all Covid requirements were adhered to. They look after my mom brilliantly, and she looks happy and well. May I take this opportunity to thank the staff for all their hard work and help.

Me and my mom visited my nan on Tuesday 17th August and had a lovely time! The staff are all very friendly and helpful; particularly the person who organises visits who we love and so does my nan! We are really happy about the visits becoming a lot more frequent and more people being allowed in. We already have our next visit booked which we are happy about and looking forward to. We are very grateful for Chelmunds Court and the care that they give.

Covid-19 has made visiting difficult and the contact with my dad throughout this period of time has been very limited as I was told by the home that I was not first on the list as next of kin and I would therefore not get any calls or video calls. Whilst I understand that these are/were challenging times, I did feel that measures could have been put in place (e.g. a rota system for contact for those who wanted it) for those who did want contact with their family member to make it more of a fairer process. I have since visited my dad three times this year and have been told different things regarding LFT testing each time. There is a lack of consistency in this area. The caring staff especially the lead carers are great, they know my dad well and all his little quirks. A massive thanks for all your hard work during these exceptional times. Dad is clean and happy and fits in well. The home is clean and well maintained. The staff try very hard to ensure residents are ‘included’ at all times.

Staff at Chelmunds Court are kind, thoughtful, caring and amazing! They are very friendly and approachable. Their dedication, care and attention to my mum have been wonderful. We've all had a terrible year with Covid but still the staff have maintained their high standard of care throughout. My mum is in the best environment for her needs. As a family, we have been able to see our mum via Whatsapp, video calls and message updates. The staff are amazing!

Dad has been at Chelmunds Court now for three and a half years, firstly downstairs in residential and now due to his inevitable deteriorating health upstairs in nursing. The staff both in residential and nursing have been outstanding in taking care of Dad, especially during the pandemic. They have always been approachable, understanding and happy to sort out concerns. They have kept us informed regularly with phone and video calls and the activities. Staff have organised excellent Covid-safe visits for us. A massive thanks to every one of them at Chelmunds Court.

I am now signed up for the care give plan. I've visited my wife on three occasions. The first time her room was a little smelly, the reason being the cleaners had not cleaned her room because my wife had a lie-in but the next day everything was fine. The staff at the home (i.e. carers) are very helpful, they always sort out any problems. I called at lunchtime and they allowed my wife to have her lunch in her bedroom with me. After twelve months of not visiting the home is still as good as ever.

My mother has been a resident at Chelmunds Court for 15-months; she was accepted there during the start of Covid, and even with the immense pressure on staff, her care is amazing. On 28th June, Mom was 102, and the staff decorated the coffee lounge, made a lovely cake, all the staff signed a card. My husband and I were invited to a cake and coffee party with Mom (all with the Covid rules, PCR, lateral, PPE). Although Mam has dementia, she has a lovely day, even had a tea party with other residents in the afternoon. I am now her essential caregiver and have Zooms and regular updates. Staff and management are great.

Went to visit my dad. They asked if we wanted to sit outside and made Dad as comfortable as possible. They told me all of the activities they had planned and ones Dad had participated in. Dad loved looking at the flowers in the garden.
