Dad was 5 weeks in HPL before he passed away peacefully. The care provided to him and us was caring and dignified. All the staff were friendly and helpful and made my decision to use HPL as my Mums first care home experience so much easier. My relative is a resident at Hesketh Park Lodge and I want to say the service we have had from the start has been excellent from initial enquiry to move in and the continuing care and empathy they receive is second to none. The knowledge of the sales advisor who initially saw us and explained the whole process and arranged the move into the home made the transition into care so easy. The care they recieve is 10/10, the home is so welcoming and all the staff are so friendly and professional. There are lots of activities and the home is so clean the rooms are so spacious, I would recommend this home for anyone looking for residentail or nursing care.

I'm extremely happy with the care my father is receiving at Hesketh Park Lodge. The home is beautifully kept, spotlessly clean & I'm always greeted by a friendly face at reception. My father is kept clean, shaven & in fresh clothes daily, his finger & toenails are clipped when needed & I only have to ask when his hair needs a cut. He recently spent a day at hospital to have a growth removed from his arm and the staff were amazed at the condition of his skin as he was checked all over for any other growths. My father has been bed bound for a few years now and the nurses said they would have expected his skin to have breakouts. It meant the world to me to have been told by someone in the nursing profession & I know that is all down to the care he is receiving & for that I would like to express my thanks to the wonderful staff at Hesketh Park Lodge.

The management had developed systems that WORKED VERY WELL. Nurses were AWESOME, so caring and extremely professional and effective. The care workers were LOVING and KIND. If anyone is reading this and wanting to get into this valuable area of care work COME HERE. They were SELFLESS. My only regret is her not being able to participate in the entertainments for residents that were available because she had a life limiting illness. This is a happy place for those who LOVE LIFE...

Having worked in the care sector now for more than 15 years in various roles, the most fulfilling role has to be working with prospective residents, their family or their representatives. I find it most rewarding in helping to find the most suitable care home that will endeavour to meet the care needs of each new resident, along with show casing and promoting the many superb facilities each individual care home has to offer.
My main duty is just by being there every step of the way, helping to support families to take away some of the stress of trying to find the right care home for their loved one.
In my spare time I love nothing more than walking my cockapoo, travelling to different counties within the UK and visiting different countries to sample the different restaurants, sightseeing and experiencing different cultures, but most importantly spending quality time with family and friends.
The care home lists weekly fees per person from £1,200 for residential care (respite from £1,200), from £1,395 for residential dementia care (respite from £1,395) and from £1,300 for nursing care (respite from £1,300). Funding accepted: Self-Funding (Private), Local Authority with Top-up, NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC).
Older Person Care, Dementia, Mental Health Condition, Physical Disability, Visual / Hearing Impairment, Younger Adults are the registered (by the Care Quality Commission) categories of Care.
