The first impression was excellent. The facilities and rooms are modern, spacious and cannot be faulted. My father received adequate care here; however, I got the impression they were short-staffed, as I or my father could ring the buzzer to request help, and still be waiting 10 minutes later....

The level of care given to my father during his stay of approximately three months was of the highest standard. This extended to looking after my elderly mother during her visits. The fact that The Goldbridge offers residential and nursing care through to the end of life was very important in our choice of home. As to the property itself, it is a purpose built new care home and the quality of fixtures and finishes would be commensurate with a good quality hotel.

Outside of work, I live with my husband and two of my three grown-up children. I love to travel and Southeast Asia is top of my list. I’ve been to Thailand many times as well as Laos, Cambodia and Bali. I am looking forward to visiting India later this year.
