Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We're so happy that you and your sister are pleased with the care your mum is receiving and we'll share your thoughts with the team here.
With best wishes,
Springfield Healthcare
Thank you for your kind words. Looking forward to sharing your review with our lovely team.
Kind regards,
Sally.
The staff are all so warm and welcoming and my mum has immediately bonded with her carers and the admin staff. My mum is safe, clean and well
The space is used well and has a touch of luxury so it does feel like a hotel rather than a care home. Many of the residents have formed good relationships with each other and it is heartwarming to see my mum sharing a joke with the others on her floor.
The £1 tea and cakes at the ground floor cafe are delicious and rival a professional company's! Which really is the icing on the cake.
I am so pleased my family chose Mayfield, it is a very special place and I would recommend it to anyone.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. I can't wait to share this with the team - it means so much to us all that your mum is well and happy, and that the team's hard work is appreciated. Kind regards,
Sally.

My favourite part of each day is seeing residents happy.
It’s the most important part of what we do, and it fills my heart with joy, to know that they feel seen and heard.
We aim to make every day fulfilling. To do that you need a good dose of patience, understanding, compassion and empathy. You also need to be an effective listener and be willing to help. Having a great sense of humour is a definite bonus too.
It is important to me that my colleagues feel supported so that they can be the best they can be. At Mayfield View, we work as a harmonious team, maintaining high standards no matter what day or time it is. I feel really proud of the home I have helped create. It is a safe, stable and comfortable home with much love in it.
I’ve been a qualified nurse for 15 years and completed my last level-five diploma in 2016. I have worked in care homes since qualifying and have carried out various roles including clinical lead and deputy manager.
I would say a career highlight for me was when I managed to complete a leadership training programme while pregnant. I also had an article published by Skills for Care, which helps develop adult social care in England. I should also mention, that I won the CEO Recognition Award in 2024 in our team awards which was an honour.
I’ve been married now for seven years, and my husband and I have two children, aged six and two. We enjoy lots of family adventures and eating out when we can.
