My wife was sent to Glenholme Holdingham Grange for a couple of weeks respite care whilst home care was arranged.
During her stay, she has been very happy, and well looked after. She has been encouraged to try and help herself and to join in the activities - those which she has participated in; she
has enjoyed very much.
She has also used the lovely hairdressers.

We were welcomed.
Nothing too much trouble. Care for Mum and us also 1st class.
The compassion was immense. End of life was treated with dignity and so much care. Rooms are incredible and clean.

I have been here for two weeks of respite care. I have enjoyed my stay; the staff was always friendly and caring. The activities and food was 1st class. I joined in the activities as much as I can. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Overall I was very disappointed with my partner's care. In most respects there were shortfalls. I believe this is a lot to do with the general standards in the nation's care. The overriding factor being costs and staffing. Having a posh building is not the main issue when caring for a very frightened
and sick person. More really caring staff and thoughtfulness would have made a great difference. The external back up was below par as well.

I had a brother in the above home who passed away 29th May 2019. My other brother was very poorly after a heart operation. So I wanted him to have the same care. Unfortunately, he passed away on the 23rd of November 2019. I can rest knowing I gave them the best care they could have.

Mum and Dad have both been residents here now for approximately 4 months. Mum came from another care home, and since arriving here, there has been a massive improvement in her health and general well-being. Both parents, are being well cared for by caring, cheerful and knowledgeable staff. The surroundings

The home is beautifully clean, smells fantastic and has a good range of equipment and activities to keep the residents involved. The staff are the shining lights of this organisation, they care with empathy, sympathy, and genuine Mohan. My mother felt looked after during her whole stay. We as a family
took confidence from the staff approach and felt in our absence our mum was comfortable physically, but also, supported emotionally. Activities team were engaging inclusive and enthusiastic and really got to know what each resident enjoyed.

I came to Glenholme needing a period of respite and recovery following an unexpected limb amputation. I found the staff to be approachable, kind, caring and efficient in difficult circumstances for me. At all times, I was treated with dignity and respect. The facilities are remarkable. Of particular
importance to me were the garden and the excellent Wi-Fi connection. I would have no hesitation in recommending Glenholme to a near relative of mine.

I have been here since February 2019. My sons looked at many homes and none have come up to Glenholme's standard. The staff are very kind and helpful and treat me with dignity and respect. Activities are many and delightful and everyone can join in. I couldn't ask for a better home to live in.

What a fantastic place. My Dad has now been here for four months. I really didn’t think we would ever find a home like this. The facilities are second to none and the staff? They are like a family. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are in frequent contact with me with updates on my dad's health.
The manager is extremely approachable and I’ve seen her filling in when staff have been off.
I would not hesitate to recommend this nursing home.

My mother was a resident for 2 weeks as an interim measure after being discharged from hospital have suffered a stroke. The level of care and support she has received at Glenholme has been second to none. Everyone is so helpful and kind. The facilities are fantastic.
All care homes should look at Glenholme
Holdingham Grange as a benchmark. Thank you for what you have done for my mum.

My dad has only been in the care home for 3 weeks, but his Parkinson's took a severe turn for the worse and he is now on end of life care. I have experienced many care homes with daycare and repsite for my dad but Holdingham Grange is by far the best. The staff are all so caring, kind and understanding,
nothing is too much trouble, they truly care about the residents and I cannot thank them enough. Once you walk into the home, you know immediately this is the place your loves one should be. Thank you to all.

When I first walked into this care home, it has the wow factor in more ways than one. It has the feel of a hotel, home from home feel with lovely surrounding and décor with home from home food. Also, the staff are so so kind and caring, this is a home which I would be more than happy to be in if I needed
to be in the future. I feel too that there need to be more homes like this to be built in the future; for people who need them.

My mother came to Glenholme after a long period in hospital. It's always hard for someone to not be able to return to their own home, however, within a very short time, we could see a difference. She was settled and very happy, the staff are kind, very efficient and caring. The facilities and catering
are second to none. I would highly recommend.
