other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

The manager is respected by staff, residents, and relatives. The staff are well trained which is ongoing. The overseas staff for the most part have good English and are very caring as are the rest of the staff who willingly give 'on the job' advice, activities for residents can be repetitive the mini-bus
is well used for 'outings' to outside events. Residents appear to be happy and respond well to the carers and actively organize all of whom keep an eye on the residents for their wellbeing. The entrance area and the home inside and out are very clean and well-maintained. However, in the summer months, some of the agency staff used to cover for holidays are not up to the standard performed by the permanent staff.

I really appreciate the great job the Miller’s Grange team did over the 2 weeks when a family member was staying and unwell.
She received truly exceptional care throughout: there were great facilities, accommodation and activities. But in particular, the staff were excellent. They did so much to ensure
my family member was happy, comfortable and able to recover. Thank you for all the work you did and continue to do!

My mother came in for a spell of respite care. The staff were very kind to my mother and looked after all her needs, she was very contented. I also found the staff most helpful with my dealings with them.
My mother's room was a good size, bright, very clean and warm, just exactly what you would want.
The food was also good and varied.
Millers Grange could not have done more for my mother, it is a very happy place and I would certainly recommend it. Thank you.

We have nothing but positive comments. Our relative was well cared for during his time at Millers Grange and the level of care most certainly extended his life and definitely enhanced its quality. The whole team act with professionalism and display empathy giving us as relatives a great deal of comfort
and peace of mind. Our relative’s end-of-life care was nothing short of superb and the staff supported us throughout with honest, clear communication and compassion. The home is warm and welcoming and we were encouraged to visit whenever we wanted. We would not hesitate in recommending Millers Grange.

My father-in-law has been at Millers Grange for nearly 3 years. He was admitted in March 2021 whilst Covid restrictions were still in place. Since these restrictions have been removed slowly I have been able to visit more and more often. The home facilities are very good with a hotel feel. The staff
are all so lovely whatever jobs they are doing. My father-in-law has a great social life which makes me exhausted just looking at it. I would and do recommend Millers Grange to everyone.

Everything at Millers Grange has been very smooth and easy. One member of staff in particular has been particularly helpful and very constructive in settling in my mum. She came in straight from home where her extreme age was making it hard for her to manage everything for herself. We are all very impressed
with the standards of care and the facilities at Millers Grange. The food is excellent (I had lunch there) and my mum enjoys the residents' activities.
The staff are all super friendly and very very helpful. We always feel welcome when we visit and there is a lovely atmosphere in the home. There is laughter.

I must admit that I didn't have a good impression of care homes generally prior to me having more direct experience. But I have to say that since my 97-year-old Mum moved into Millers Grange in July 2023 - I've been really impressed by the love and care she's been shown there. My Mum feels safe, secure
and well looked after - we all need that as we approach the end of our days. I live locally, so it's also very easy for me to pop by and see Mum and the home is very flexible in that respect. Most importantly - all of the staff are great.

All questions were dealt with quickly giving reassurance for myself that mother was being well looked after. A menu was provided for myself as she is vegetarian so I could talk to her about meals and help her choose if necessary. All visitors are made to feel most welcome.

My father moved to Millers Grange Witney in June 2023. He has dementia and I am very happy with the care he is getting. All the staff at Millers Grange are very helpful and friendly and go out of their way to help. The home has a very nice homely feel. It's very clean and tidy. The home does a lot of

From my first visit to Miller's Grange, I knew this was the place for Dad to come to live. He had been living alone in France and the move back to the UK was going to be a huge upheaval. I was confident that the warmth, friendliness and professionalism of everybody I met on that first visit would make
it easier for him. And so it has turned out.
On Dad's first visit he absolutely beamed as he looked around declaring "well, this is lovely!"
The care he is receiving is fantastic. Coming back into the NHS system was made easier by the procedures the home have in place. Regular access to a GP means that many of his health issues are being addressed.
He is benefitting from the fabulous food choices, going from barely eating, to enjoying a 3-course lunch every day and then a meal in the evening, too!
Direct access to the outside from his bright and spacious room means he can go for a daily walk and sit in the fresh air.
Knowing he is so well cared for - priceless

My dad has been at Millers Grange for 3 weeks now and the care and support he has received has been amazing. There are always activities being held and, although he hasn’t joined in with many as yet, the staff are very supportive, understanding and encouraging. The meals are healthy and varied and he
is starting to gain some weight. It’s a great relief to the family that he is happy and being well looked after. Thank you to all the staff at Millers Grange.

Our mother recently moved into Millers Grange, and she has settled extremely well. Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive, and all the staff and other residents made her feel ‘at home’ straight away. She has a comfortable room with a patio so that she can sit outside in her own space. She enjoys
the variety of activities that are offered each day, which include crosswords, indoor bowls and entertainment. Mum enjoys the meals that she eats in the small dining area, and it is so good to know that she is having well-balanced and wholesome meals. It was a big decision for Mum to move into a care home, but we are confident that it has been the right decision, and we would whole-heartedly recommend Millers Grange to anyone.

The care home is clean and modern. Bright and cheerful appearance in the foyer. It is a friendly care home where the staff are helpful and cheerful. All the bedrooms are clean and well-kept. There is always plenty of activities going on. Well done team.

When my aunt started to have mobility problems with dementia, after managing to have care in the home for 2 years, I was lucky to find Millers Grange through one of my aunt’s carer’s recommendations. What a find. The transition to the home was made very easy by staff members, one in particular, and
over one year later, she is settled and her care by staff is exceptional. She is happy in her environment, and as I am not able to visit frequently because of living in France, we have video calls with each other on a regular basis. Thank you all for looking after her, you are all special.

I even worked with a previous Prime Minister to improve dementia care standards. While I’m not a political person, it was amazing to provide expertise at that level.


My favourite part of the day is my morning round, when I say hello to all the residents and find out how they’re doing, and ensure they’re ready for a good day. There’s always a buzz about the place.


As well as care expertise, this role demands great teamwork, a listening ear, empathy and the ability to act quickly. This is the residents’ home, so if they, or their family, give us feedback, it’s vital that we’re quick to respond. The same applies to the team. A lot of my role is to support them to develop their strengths and do their best work so they can enhance residents’ lives.
