Thank you so much for your lovely feedback, it is such an honour to have your mom residing with us at Graysford Hall, a big part of our Graysford Family. I will pass on your amazing feedback to all of the team.

Relocating mum to a new home began online. We then made appointments to view several possible homes in and around the area. Graysford Hall was streets ahead of all the others, ticking all the boxes we had listed. Comfort, care, polite staff and management. Light, excellent decor. The ability for ma to make friends. Lovely fresh cooked meals. Our family can now say we have peace of mind that she is safe as we are scattered around the UK. Mum's delighted to be living in Graysford Hall. She's made friends, enjoys stimulating and interesting conversations. Thank you to all the excellent staff at Grayford Hall.
Thank you so much for your kind words Trish, it is so lovely to hear the wonderful feedback, Graysford Hall is blessed to have mom, like all our our amazing residents. I will be so happy to share your thoughtful feedback today with all of my team. I am too grateful you chose Graysford Hall, it truly is home for us all.
Stayed at Graysford for two weeks respite. Absolutely first class. Great staff, chefs, the whole team. The food was excellent, couldn't fault it. I enjoyed the activities and meeting new people. We would definitely come back here if we had to.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. I am so pleased that you and your wife decided to come back a day after returning home from your respite, due to missing Graysford Hall, our residents and staff. We all love having you both with us.
Moving care homes was a big decision to make but one which my father and the family never regretted. We are particularly impressed that although all members of Graysford Hall staff have separate roles they all work together as a unified team seeking to provide the best care for all residents.

Thank you so much for your kind words Peter, I know the team really appreciate hearing such lovely feedback, I do have to agree with you, I am honoured to work alongside such an amazing caring team.

My father was initially accepted for a weeks trial to ascertain his dementia needs. The home extended his stay by a further week after which he was accepted as a full-time resident. The staff are always extremely efficient and friendly; whenever I call for an update on my father, it's never too much trouble to put me through to a member of staff to inform me about his well being. He absolutely adores his food and enjoys sitting in the cinema room watching car restoration programmes. Graysford Hall is of a very high standard with extremely spacious and beautifully designed bedrooms, which can be personalised by each resident. What would be an idea for the home to consider is to send a weekly update to a nominated family member either via email or letter. This could include a brief description of daily events, food consumed, activities performed, showered etc. This would be beneficial to families whose relatives have dementia. To conclude; Graysford Hall is simply stunning with excellent facilities and outstanding staff.

Thank you for your review and we were delighted to have your mother stop with us for a respite stay. Your kind comments have been passed onto the staff, and we look forward to having your mother back with us again.

We were able to visit outside her room and talk to her through a partly open window. There were no time limits to our visits, and although mum was mystified by why we were outside, we could tell she was pleased to see us.
The management was flexible and allowed us to extend her stay at short notice. We were disappointed that it wasn't possible to have a more relaxed meeting with mum in the garden but recognise the constraints of managing a care home during the lockdown in the area.
We communicated with many care workers and management staff during the visit and occasionally felt that messages hadn't been passed on. It would have been useful to have had one key link worker to communicate daily information, both from and to us. Simple things like when she left, when if at all had she had a bath or shower? any medical issues? chiropody appointment, activities enjoyed.
Short term resident due to a broken ankle on right leg. Left leg very weak so hoist etc required. Diet should be more closely monitored as very large weight gain does not help recovery.

My mum has just stayed here for two weeks following an operation. We knew about Graysford Hall after attending the Open Day and it looked fabulous and so Mum was keen to go here for respite. We couldn’t have chosen a better place and they far exceeded our expectations in every way. They are so kind, caring and thoughtful and it was such a relief for me to know that Mum was happy and safe. Everyone from carers, cleaners, gardeners, chef and admin introduced themselves to her and couldn’t do enough for her. My mum has said the food was excellent and they easily dealt with her egg allergy, cooking special alternatives. They have handled COVID professionally and sensibly, Mum was tested and quarantined for two days pending results and although I wasn’t allowed into the place, I could see her and speak to her from her private patio wearing a mask and socially distancing. I regularly visit friends and relatives in different care homes in Leicester and would move them all here if I could!
Thank you so much for the amazing feedback Jayne. Mum was a pleasure to look after. The team at Graysford hope she is well. We look forward to seeing her in the future. I know the other service users appreciated your mum's vast knowledge of wine.

At a very difficult time for us as a family, Graysford Hall met all our requirements to give our mum the best possible care. They have shown tolerance, empathy and respect which has afforded our mother the dignity she deserves in the last years of her life. The support for us as a family has been excellent and I would happily recommend Graysford Hall to anyone considering care for a relative. It does not matter how nice a place looks if the ethos within it is wrong, however, the caring, supportive ethos of all the staff shines through like a beacon, making this a wonderful place for our mum. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your feedback. This is really appreciated.

I visited my friend who has been staying here for some weeks. What a beautiful place and such friendly staff. I was invited to have lunch and had a thoroughly lovely day. It was so nice to see my friend being so well looked after.

I will feed back to the team, they really appreciate hearing views like this.
We had lunch with our friends. OK. It was a lovely meal served in a small annexe of the dining room. The staff, from going in, to coming out were so pleasant, caring and helpful. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Thank you so much for your review, Angie. We were delighted to have your husband at Graysford Hall it was an absolute pleasure to have him around and we all rather miss him. It was lovely to have you in the home with him so often as well. Our Wellbeing Lead is working on starting a Bridge Club - we'd love to have you both back to get involved and show us how it's done. The door's always open...

This home took my parents at short notice and were thoroughly helpful and professional throughout. This is a new home and is finished to an extremely high standard. All the staff are first-class people and are prepared to go the extra mile to see to residents' needs. I have been particularly impressed by the quality of the care which has so far been faultless. My parents have similarly been most impressed by everyone at the home and the care and kindness that they have received.
Thank you Tom for your lovely review. I will pass it on to Suzie and the team.
Mum was due to stay at Graysford Hall for a two-week respite stay following discharge from hospital, but unfortunately only got to stay for two nights as she had to go back to hospital. I say unfortunately because Graysford Hall is so lovely, I was looking forward to her enjoying her stay - so much...
The communication with the home pre and during the stay was so helpful and reassuring during what was a very stressful time. The personalised welcome was a lovely touch for Mum and there was nothing that was too much trouble - for Mum, me or my seven-year-old, who was treated to a private cinema screening with popcorn whilst we got Mum settled in. Mums back home now, which isn’t going so well so Graysford Hall may well still be her next home.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We hope your mum is ok, sad to hear she isn't, but are happy to assist you in the future. The kettle is always on.

I first began working in the care sector in 1990, where I was a housekeeper working for Leicester County Council. I soon developed into a role as a night carer, which I was for 17 years before accepting a role in the Quality Improvement Team supporting other care providers.
After 12 years, I made the decision to come back into a care home, where I started as a Unit Manager and developed into my current role as Deputy Manager.
I have a real passion for supporting people and their families, ensuring that they receive an excellent standard of care.
