The staff know the family well, we can be intense as always have wanted the best for grandad, he was a huge part of our life's. The support they have offered is amazing. The managers have had an open door policy and no question we asked was any trouble.
I wish I could give you all a million zillion pounds, we could not have got through this without you.
Not sure carers, nurses and staff literally extended family!
Thank you so much for such a kind review - As you know grandad was part of our extended family as are yourselves! and it was a pleasure to be able to provide care to him at his time of need. Take care and see you soon. Porsche
Dad is generally very comfortable and well cared for. His only concerns would be the general cleaning of his room where he spends most of his time, his bed changing is very irregular, his BM and HBa1C for his diabetes has not always been reliably done. The staff are great, always so helpful.
I found the home very welcoming, clean and plesant. The staff doing their best to keep everybody happy which is quit a challenging job with people with dementia.
My Dad has been in Telford Hall since January 2024 when we needed to find a permanent full time nursing place at 24 hours notice between Xmas and new year (when the NHS find out you're self funded they want you out of hospital without any time or help). Telford Hall were great and made the transition seamless. The home provides a great level of nursing care in very nice en-suite rooms. Food is great - Dad has put on 2 1/2 stone! There are loads of activities to join if you want to and even a pub, cinema and hairdresser. The relief we have knowing Dad has 24/7 care is immense.
I've always found the care outstanding, respect & dignity at all times.
Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff. They are friendly & approachable.
There is always encouragement to join in different activities that are going on.
Sadly my friend passed away in October. His end of life care was outstanding & the staff were all very supportive to family & friends.
I still pop in occasionally to see the staff.
Forever grateful for the care that was given.
They are both enjoying there time there after an initial two weeks of settling in in September 2025.
They are both enjoying the standard of food.
I hope you are ok

My wife and I were so lucky to have found this care home for our Aunty. Without Telford Hall she wouldn't of been back up and about and getting on with her life. The staff have been fantastic at providing great care and understanding. She was taken into their care in June and is still making friends and loves the interaction with the staff.
I hope you are ok

Many of the team developed a close bond with dad, and he with them.
The team's devotion to dad at the end of his life was humbling, providing a safe, warm, and loving environment for him in his final days.
I couldn't have asked for greater support for dad, me and the family. Thank you.
I hope you are ok
Thank you for such a great review on our home. As you are very much aware dad was very well loved by us here at Telford and he is sadly missed. We were truly grateful for sharing such special times with him.
I hope you are all doing well
Thank you again

What truly stands out is how personal their care is. They don't just look after her needs - they look after her. Simple but meaningful things, like sitting with her, chatting, doing her makeup, and making sure she feels comfortable and at home, make such a huge difference to her confidence and happiness. You can see that they really care, and that level of thoughtfulness is incredibly special.
Knowing that my Nan is treated with dignity, respect, and so much warmth gives our family real peace of mind. The staff are amazing, and this care home is a truly wonderful place. We feel so lucky to have found a home treats nan like family
Thank you for such a great review on our home. Your nan is a much loved member of our extended family and we are very grateful for being lucky enough to care for her.

Much thought is put into the activities which are offered to the residents - who are encouraged to participate with gentle enthusiasm.
Our mother loves the home, treated with dignity and respect. All staff are amazing and really go the extra mile to look after Mum's needs. Always great entertainment is laid on, and she loved the wed hair salon day, amazing. The only huge negative complaint is that we have had to drain Mum's savings and sell her family home to pay for her care. Yet other people with no assets in the home are receiving the same care council funded. It's morally wrong.
My dad moved here in January and I am pleased with the care and support he has been given.the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure his needs are met.the facilities are very good,I'm impressed with the daily activities and days out they provide.my mum visits everyday and I'm impressed how caring and loving they all are towards her, both my dad and mum have been treated with quality care love and support.the staff are amazing giving a great level of care..as a family we are so thankful to all involved
I have been very impressed whenever I have visited and found staff to be welcoming and friendly. I notice that all residents are well groomed, have their hair washed and cut regularly. They all have good food and I've overheard many conversations between staff and residents, all being very kind, thoughtful and caring. Residents all seem to be happy and entertained. All areas are clean and tidy. I have visited after hours and still been able to access when the button is pressed and not been kept waiting. The staff all seem very responsive and very kind.
I visited today for my Father's Birthday and it was also my first trip to Telford Hall. I was impressed as soon as I left my car and admired the building and gardens. Inside was immaculate throughout, staff was friendly and very helpful at reception. I was amazed to find my Dad smiling, singing, and enjoying physical chair exercises with his friends and the carers. What an impressive and enjoyable 1st visit. Thank you everyone for all your hard work.
The facilities are very good and the carers, on the whole, go above and beyond to look after the residents.
The activities coordinator is very good and arranges lots of things for the residents.
Always enjoy coming here.
Whenever I come everyone is friendly and we also have a cup of coffee in the cafe. The place is always clean.
I have always been impressed with Telford Hall and it's staff. I was disappointed when the manageress left last year as she was doing an excellent job. I hope the incoming manager will be as good. If anything should happen to me and I needed to go to a care home then Telford Hall would be my first choice.
My mom sadly passed away in January 2024, but had been a resident here for just under a year, and the care, love and compassion given to Mom during her stay were exemplary; she especially loved two members of staff who both attended Mom’s recent Celebration of Life. We can’t thank the staff enough for looking after Mom and our Dad who visited every day.

Meet the Team (4)

What I love most about this role is having the opportunity to truly care for people. I enjoy getting to know our residents, understanding their stories, and being able to make a real, positive difference in their lives every single day.
I’ve worked in care since I was 19, starting out as a support planner, where I created care plans for people who needed help. From there, I became a social care officer, assessing individuals’ care needs and putting the right support in place. I also worked as a trusted assessor for care homes before moving into management roles as a deputy and then a residential manager.
What drives me is the chance to improve people’s lives—to bring purpose, dignity and joy into their everyday. That’s what makes me passionate about working in care.

Meet Kevin our head chef.
Kevin has been here at Telford Hall since we opened our doors in 2018 and has managed to implement his amazing menus since then.
He has a wealth of experience in the industry and has built an amazing team here.
He has recently attended the IDDSI Level 4 training program, which provides practical advice and recipe ideas to help residents who have a serious swallowing disorder called dysphagia.

Maria joined in April 2021 as Telford Hall's dedicated Activities Coordinator.
She has worked in the care industry for many years and has great relationships with people in the community and community leaders, including Raj Mehta, Mayor of the Borough of Telford and Wrekin.
Maria is one of our biggest assets and a firm favourite. She provides positive, engaging and meaningful activities to the residents.
She holds support groups on a Monday for residents with dementia which have proved very successful. She also provides weekly exercise classes to keep residents moving to the best of their ability.
Maria enjoys assisting residents in being as independent as possible and helping them reach their goals, whatever they may be.
Maria is always a happy, friendly and smiley person and the residents all appreciate her wonderful activities and trips out into the community.

Tracy is one of our nurses here at Telford Hall and shares our passion for the job she does.
She has been a qualified nurse since 2007 and has built up a wealth of knowledge in that time.
She has over 13 years experience of working in a hospice and brought her skills to us in 2019.
She is a mother of 2 daughters and an avid crafter.
