A clean, friendly and well-run care home who put their residents needs foremost. Rooms are bright and airy, individually decorated and with their own ensuite facilities. A dining room, lounge room and kitchen are on every floor. Food is carefully prepared to be healthy, nutritious and also tastes and looks good. You are able to take lunch with your resident with pre-booking. Refreshments are always available.
This care home has been very attentive to my mother in her terminal stages and the staff are just as attentive to relatives as well. I have been given a great deal of comfort, love and support from them through this difficult time.

This care home was a good choice for my mother, who said many times she liked being there.

A very friendly and warm welcome by all the staff. It has a very homely environment and all the staff look happy in their work. Food is excellent, cleanliness is spotless and I was certainly impressed with the laundry service - all clothes being named and came back to the room all neatly folded or on hangers and neatly put away. All the carers are good which makes the residents feel at home.

Mum understandably did not want to go in just anywhere but is very happy and settled, so much so, she is staying another week. As good as a 4-star/5-star hotel.

My first impressions of Carpatjoa Grange were good, and all I have seen since has confirmed that the families decision to move my mother-in-law to Carpathia was a good one. She now enjoys taking her lunch in the dining room with her fellow residents and participates in more shared activities.

Carpathia Grange is unlike any other Care Home I have visited. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the staff have time to chat, which I feel is very important. The facilities are excellent and the residents have a varied programme of activities to ensure no-one is bored. Dad has been very well looked after and has enjoyed the freshly prepared food and the fact that mealtimes are such a highlight of the day. We couldn’t have hoped for a better home from home!

From initial contact and meetings with Carpathia management, we were confident we had made the right choice of care home for a family member. Carpathia Grange is a purpose-built care home, the layout, decor and facilities are outstanding.

The staff are very professional and provide a very high standard of care. My mother-in-law has settled well, enjoys all the activities and attention and looks forward to mealtimes as the food is excellent with plenty of choice.

From the first meeting with management to look at plans of the building, to selecting the perfect room to moving in...excellent.

My client came in for a trial and now does not wish to go home. The staff are all friendly, helpful and welcoming. And the food, say no more, yum yum.

This new purpose-built care home is superb. Bright, comfortable and well designed. From the management downwards continual contact is made to the residents. There are many plus points eg food is very good with variable menus. All staff are so cheerful with respectful contact and always so keen to help. I enjoy living here and happy to stay here for the rest of my days.

Well presented care home modern and thoughtfully laid out. Professional and friendly sales and medical staff. Introduction well presented. The rooms have general fulfillments but not overly furnished. Public Wi-Fi not secure enough closed system would create fewer problems.

Overall a very cosy and tasteful establishment with excellent staff.

Overall Experience
My stepfather moved in a week ago from another local facility and I cannot believe the change in him. He is so happy and content and the care he is receiving is second to none. Staff are highly trained, attentive and empathic. The food is incredible as is the service, with each floor having its own dining room, offering a wide selection of freshly cooked meals with wine or whatever takes your fancy, more restaurant than rest home.

From the moment you walk into the main reception and coffee lounge, you would forget you were entering a care home. Care UK have done an amazing job in both its design and function. They have certainly thrown down the gauntlet for competing facilities. There is absolutely nothing negative to think about Carpathia Grange and I highly recommend paying a visit if you're making that tough decision to move a loved one into full-time care, any trepidation is quickly erased.

Jodie LaversJob Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2025

We have a terrific team at Carpathia Grange. I started working here in 2020 and have progressed from Team Leader to Unit Manager, Deputy Manager, and Home Manager.

We all work incredibly hard, and I am proud of what we have achieved. So far, we have received gold standard framework accreditation, which shows that we consistently deliver high-quality end-of-life care when needed.

We have also achieved VIPS accreditation, which focuses on high-quality person-centred care for residents living with dementia. Both demonstrate our commitment to residents, ensuring we make a real difference to those we support.

As a Home Manager, it’s important to have good communication skills, be transparent and have a vision for high standards. As a leader, you also need to be positive and approachable; it is my role to provide help and support to colleagues as well as residents.

My favourite part of working here is ensuring all residents enjoy being at Carpathia Grange. We create happy memories and actively nurture healthy lifestyles. Seeing smiles on the lovely faces of residents makes me smile too. I feel privileged to be able to make such a positive difference in people’s lives.

Outside of work, I love a spa day to unwind and relax. I also enjoy spending time with my family.
