I came in here directly from hospital in Norfolk. My family wanted me to be safe and have the care/help that I needed before moving into an apartment close to where they live. It worked well. I treated it as a holiday in a 5-star resort. I loved the food and I am a fussy eater but always found something
that could be changed or left off to cater to my taste. Would always come back if I need long-term care.

My sister has recently passed away from Huntington's disease, but we managed to get her back into Baycroft Fairfield for her final weeks with the family. The entire team from all the amazing HCAs and experienced nursing teams have been outstanding. My sister had deteriorated so much in her previous
home, that she ate a whole dinner on arrival at Baycroft Fairfield, because a member of staff sat with her, for as long as it took, and made her laugh. The chefs took time to make her food, and every single HCA, made an impact on my sister's last 12 months, and we will remember you all because she couldn't! Special thanks for doing the chippy run!
Time doesn't matter here, nobody is rushed, everybody is an individual, and despite my sister being deprived of every last motor function - they still did her hair and nails and made her laugh, a week before she passed away.
You all made us feel supported - so thank you all so much.

When I first came to Baycroft, I was nervous but was made very welcome but the staff. I have settled in very well, and I am very happy here. The food is excellent, and the accommodation is very good. I have been sitting in the garden, and I intend to join in with the activities.

We had been recommended this care home for its nursing capabilities and we were not disappointed. Respite care for 2 weeks turned into a permanent residency. The visiting doctor immediately diagnosed my mother's back problem and her recovery soon came. The staff are kindness itself. They are attentive
to her needs and there is a consistency of staff in the dementia unit which is an obvious asset. I would treat this as my second home as all the staff are so welcoming.

I came as a respite patient, and when I first arrived, I thought it was very impressive and welcoming. It is a lovely place to stay, and I would highly recommend it. The activities are great and varied. Being bedbound, the activities carer sat with me - we had a lovely afternoon and really appreciated

The initial welcome was warm and all-encompassing. The standards achieved in the cookhouse were nothing short of miraculous given such limitations in their space and time. The rooms were beautifully prepared to please any integrity in age of prospective resident.

First of all, from the minute I brought my mother here the wonderful staff took over. The care they showed to both me and my mother at this stressful time was amazing. My mum is not the easiest of dementia patients but is being looked after by staff who really do care. It's a lovely place where my mum

My nan needed emergency respite care just before Christmas 2021, they were able to sort everything and answer all my questions. She had never been to respite care before and was very adamant she would never go or wouldn't stay. The customer relations manager was very supportive and helped me and my
family to get her in, settled and happy within a matter of hours. Whilst also being very empathetic to our concerns and worries. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use them again; they are extremely well equipped to deal with my nan's needs and personality.

Care staff very helpful and responsive. Nursing staff excellent not always enough on. Catering staff open to suggestions and food quality is good.
New activities coordinator is very inclusive and innovative.
Promised therapies have not yet happened.

My father moved to Baycroft, Fairfield on 2nd Sept 2021. I have been so impressed and relieved at the care and respect that my dad has received at Baycroft since he arrived. In only a week, I have seen a great change in his physical health but also in his emotional status. He is even watching TV again
which he hadn't done since my mum died in June. He loves all the attention he is given and thinks the food is fantastic, particularly his full English breakfasts! The nurses, carers and admin staff have all been welcoming to me and my sister as well and we love to come and visit.
