Stunning setting from inside and outside, very well presented with clean, modern, spacious rooms. With a beautiful dining room with a grand piano and bar. Lots of activities for the residents to take part in something for everyone! The staff and managers will go above and beyond to help with anything for you. You are treated with the most respect and consideration.

I can thoroughly recommend Richmond Villages Cheltenham.

My mother was struggling with all aspects of life very confused and I hate to say, a burden to us. She finally accepted that everyone needed a break. We put Mum into Richmond for three weeks. We spent many hours researching different care homes. Mum went in with the attitude that she wanted to rest and be alone. The staff respected this but within days she was mixing in walking on her own (which she was unable to do at home) and a much happier and level-minded person. On visiting Mum in the home we could see her improving and enjoying herself and the activities. Three weeks later we brought Mum home to a clean and more user-friendly home and she is back to her old self. I can't thank the staff who Mum now considers friends enough. I am also going to be recommending to her that she has another 2 or 3 week break there so that we can all recharge and refresh.

My father has settled in well. The care home is like a 5-star hotel. The care that he gets is also 5-star so we as a family have made the decision he is now a permanent resident. Can’t fault this care home.

The level of care shown to my mum is exemplary. Without exception, all staff show compassion, have empathy and are totally professional, in addition to being affectionate. We could not wish for more, in terms of caring for our mum's needs.

My husband was very comfortable during his stay for respite at Richmond Villages Cheltenham. He enjoyed and appreciated all the attentive care. His room, though a little small to accommodate his wheelchair and walking frame, was bright, comfortable and clean. The only criticism would be that his conveen catheter was a mystery to all, even though I had assurance that all staff were well-versed in fitting it; going back to pads was a retrograde step. Apart from that, the nursing care was irreproachable.

I visited with my mother for a trail stay to see what the facilities had to offer and was most impressed with everything. The staff were exceptional, the room was most comfortable and the food - delicious. We loved the atrium and had the most delicious tea on the rooftop area. All in all an excellent stay.

A fabulous environment with a team who really care. Very many individuals really go above and beyond, always making sure that those in their care are at the centre of everything they do. The team work tirelessly to bring new and highly enjoyable experiences (eg Caribbean music and cocktails) to the Village which are really enjoyed by the residents. I wouldn’t want my mum (dementia floor) or my stepfather (assisted living) living anywhere else and it’s a wonderfully friendly place to visit too. Very highly recommended.

My wife and I have stayed for a two-week trial and five days more recently. We have been treated extremely well by all the staff who are diligent, charming and supportive. The brief instances of staff shortage were swiftly remedied by other team members. (We have not seen the nursing section).

Richmond Villages Cheltenham is a first-class retirement complex. Before deciding to come here, I viewed eight similar places, either here in Cheltenham or in my home county Cheshire. This is way ahead of the others, I knew this as soon as I came through the doors.

The care and commitment shown to my mother when she was at end of life (and before) was excellent. As a family we were also looked after and cared for. A very distressing time became easier thanks to the care of the Richmond staff. We were able to crate a warm and loving environment for my mother to pass away.

The whole team care. The facilities are first class with beautiful serving areas inside and outside. The restaurant service is great and the quality and presentation of food is perfect. Thank you for helping my dad settle in. Nothing is too much bother. The Receptionist and Housekeeping staff are hard-working and smiling. Highly recommended.

The home is slightly more expensive than your average home but, as they say, you get what you pay for.

As with all care homes the critical factor is the staff. At Richmond, without exception, they are fantastic. The level of care and attention they are providing to my mum is superb.

It is not just the fabulous layout, rooms, food, service and nursing care that makes Richmond Village very special - it is the staff who work tirelessly to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every resident and all visitors. It is truly exceptional and each and every member of staff from top to toe goes out of their way to make living or staying at Richmond Village the best experience it can be. I cannot think of any improvements they could make to this wonderful retirement option. I commend them most highly - well done Richmond Villages.

My mum moved to Richmond Village in March 2021 for palliative/end of life care. The care and support she received was second to none. My mum was treated with absolute dignity, professionalism and the highest standards of care. This was balanced with a genuinely caring approach and a sense of humour. As a family member, I was involved in decision making and made to feel exceptionally welcome and also supported by everyone at Richmond Village. Every member of the Richmond Village team contributes to the quality of care. I cannot recommend Richmond Village highly enough. My mum was exceptionally fortunate to spend her last few weeks at a Richmond Village.

Both my parents have made their home at Richmond Village, Cheltenham. From the very first day my family visited Richmond Village, the service has been excellent. The amazing team throughout the village are friendly, caring and always professional. I strongly recommend this beautiful village and it is the best decision we have made for our parents. Richmond Village, Cheltenham is outstanding.

He now enjoys three nutritional meals a day in the restaurant and everything is taken care of for him including the cleaning of his apartment and the laundering of his clothes. We would recommend anyone who is looking to move into a retirement village to have a look around. We now have total peace of mind that our father is being looked after to the highest of standards in every way!

But before he could come to see for himself the excellent accommodation and facilities I had an emergency with my elderly neighbour whose gas boiler had burst and flooded his bungalow. At literally a couple of hours notice Cheltenham Richmond arranged for him to go straight into one of their beautiful rooms and stay until his home became habitable. He has enjoyed such great care from all the staff and is enjoying being in what is as good or even better than a five-star hotel with an added care package as well. I cannot recommend Richmond Cheltenham highly enough.
