The care centre requires an easy to follow booklet for families/residents, "All you need to know" about the care centre.

There is regular live music, which Mum loves, activities and even a PAT dog called Honey.

All staff (nurses, carers, managers, activity team, spa team, restaurant staff, housekeeping and any one else I have forgotten to list) were absolutely amazing in their support of both my Father and our family in the last week of his life. We could not ask for a better experience, from the day we arrived they were understanding, considerate, empathetic and probably most importantly true advocates for what Dad needed. Its difficult to navigate palliative care and they helped us every step of the way with compassion and personal support.

The welcome you get when you come in is second to none I have zero complaints

From arriving the atmosphere was warm & welcoming the home is spotlessly clean very safe & comfortable.The food & choices from a daily menu was excellent ,they would do anything for you, hot drinks & water provided. Thanks to all the staff carers & nurses day & night a special Thanks to RITA Thank You. For anyone needing this care I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home. One other point the food was fantastic.

My mother spent 4 weeks in Richmond Villages Painswick for a respite care stay following a protracted illness and a major emergency operation. The care staff at Richmond looked after her so well and were all caring, attentive and friendly and the administrative staff were also very helpful and accommodating. The care home is in a lovely setting and is beautifully furnished and kept immaculately clean throughout. There is a sense of welcome and calm throughout the home. The meals and catering are superlative with all food being freshly made and the menus changing daily. After a difficult illness and traumatic hospital experience, my mother's respite care at Richmond Painswick was exactly what she needed to rest and recuperate and above all to restore her dignity, self-worth and enthusiasm for life.

Overall experience very good. All the staff have been kind & helpful. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful home, best in Nantwich. The staff are wonderful. There are lots of activities. I have always had great experiences with every visit. The gardens are fantastically kept with lovely areas to walk. I can not say enough good.

My father lived at Richmond Villages in Cheltenham from May 2023 until his death in March 2026. Given his shock at how quickly and unexpectedly he lost his independence, he was as happy there as he could have been anywhere. He was well fed and cared for throughout, and while never ever ceasing to be embarrassed at the intimate nature of the care he clearly required, he was also deeply grateful for the dignified way in which it was provided. He felt respected and treated as a human being at Richmond Villages which is perhaps the most important thing.

The food standard is very high which I have experienced myself on numerous occasions and rivals that of an upmarket high street restaurant.

My mother moved to Richmond Village Nantwich in November 2022, initially in an assisted living suite, and more recently, due to increasing care needs, the care home itself. I suppose the biggest initial concern, as to whether Mum would be happy in her new home, was put to bed very quickly. All of the carers and staff have been so kind and caring towards Mum, making her feel welcome and at home, while adapting their approach to Mum's changing needs, and always managing it with patience and a smile. My sister and I have always been made very welcome by all of the staff whenever we visit, with many of them knowing us by name. The whole environment has a homely and family feel to it.

I cannot thank the amazing staff enough for their care of my grandad Don, not just this month but every single day since he arrived before Christmas 2026. It's so re-assuring to know he is in extremely safe hands. Not only do they look after him they look after us too. Unfortunately my grandad is nearing the end of his life and the support and care to him and us has been beautiful. There are so many special people he loves here as do we and they know who they are. We don't have to worry about the care he receives. If you or a family member are looking for a care home I would highly recommend this one. Thank you all on Willow!

Mum has recently become a permanent resident of Richmond Village in hte nursing wing. She's being brilliantly looked after, with a team who are happy to help in any way they can. It's a strange time for her, moving out of her own home, but the team are doing everything they can to make her feel comfortable in her new space.

Mum spent 7 years in an assisted living flat at Richmond. The setting is amazing; from the outlook from her flat, the facilities, the staff, the food and the activities/events provided. Mum had a stroke and was moved to the care home for the last few days of her life. We could not have asked for more. The staff were fantastic with mum, and being at Richmond meant that her friends and staff from downstairs, who had meant so much to mum, could pop in and visit. It was an extremely difficult time for us, but it was made easier by the care and compassion everyone showed, not only mum, but us too. We could all visit whenever we wanted, with as many people as we wanted and even our dog got to say his goodbyes. They ensured we were well fed and watered and answered any queries we had. When mum died the staff lined up outside as she went to the crematorium and the Wake that was laid on was outstanding. Victoria and Sally listened to our suggestions and took control. Thank you all so much.

My mother has always been a keen flower arranger and gardener. and she has very much enjoyed the flower arranging afternoons that the activities team organised. One particular session used artificial flowers which now decorate the dining room table and she often proudly points out which arrangement she did. She also gets a lot of pleasure from being wheeled round the gardens and being able to smell, admire and name many of the plants. The church services give her the chance to worship and sing praises to God and chat to the ministry team from St Mary's Nantwich. She enjoys them

Overall I find Richmond to be of a consistent and exceptional high standard. All the staff are extremely helpful and professional ensuring all residents are treated with the same level of support and help. An impressive care home

The care Mum received was excellent, particulary the nursing care. All the staff involved in her care were professional, friendly and caring. Her room was beautiful and clean, as were all the areas we saw. Thank you to all involved.

I came from hospital and was made to feel welcome immediately I was well looked after and nothing was to much trouble, from all the staff I was encouraged to go and listen to the music and to get involved in different activities. The staff were very friendly and professional

Richmond Villages is an attractive village and the care home offers 3 lounges with nice rooms. We are looked after well by the staff, who try to keep us entertained with activities including quizzes, carpet bowling and simple games which everyone can join in with and keep the brain occupied. Exercise classes are also offerd. Interesting things include visits from owls, small animals and baby lambs. Whilst my wife and I didn't want to have to move to a care home, given our circumstances I am very pleased we are cared for here.
